"I can see the future." With a rather stone face, Ji Soyu showed an expression a normal six year old wouldn't have. She looked up, her eyes almost too resolute.

Lee Shinwoo stared at Ji Soyu as Min Yongjoom grasped his hand. He bit his lips, not knowing what to say. This wasn't in the plot, Lee Shinwoo didn't know what he should do. But, he also felt that this would help clear away the zombies even sooner. Although it was sudden, Lee Shinwoo would be able to make this work.

"Soyu, you can tell the future?" Lee Shinwoo asked, his words patient and unlike that of his normal demeanor.

There was nobody else in the house except him, Min Yongjoon and Ji Soyu. Shin Hana and Lee Hwangyang were meeting up with all the other higher ranking people in the military base while Max, Ruby, Landon, and Kim Jiyoung had gone to kill some zombies to find any red cores and level up. Min Hosung and Yoo Jinsook were gathering some things they needed.

Ji Soyu nodded her head as she looked at Min Yongjoon and Lee Shinwoo.

Min Yongjoon wrinkled his brow, not knowing what to say but he knew that Ji Soyu was taking it harder than anyone. Letting go of Lee Shinwoo's hand, he said, "Soyu, come here."

Ji Soyu moved her body as she walked towards Min Yongjoon, whom merely smiled. Looking to see Min Yongjoon's open arms, she climbed into it, able to see how Lee Shinwoo's expression warmed at the sight.

"Soyu, are you alright? How come you didn't tell any of us what was happening?" Min Yongjoon softly asked, his voice full of concern.

Lee Shinwoo watched how Min Yongjoon acted, his heart warm as memories of his lifetime appeared. Min Yongjoon loved children, Lee Shinwoo had already knew from what Mark displayed in the last life.

But his worry for Ji Soyu outweighed anything. He wanted to know what Ji Soyu saw in the future.

Ji Soyu pushed her face into Min Yongjoon's chest as she muttered, "I didn't want you guys to be worried. I also didn't know what was going on so I wanted to wait first. It was always weird and it came at random moments so I just thought it would disappear."

Then, as a sudden thought came to Lee Shinwoo's head, he asked, "Soyu, can you tell me what you saw?"

"Yeah, but this is going to get weird," Ji Soyu said as she nodded.

"In my visions, I had never met brother or mother or father. In fact, I never knew you all. I lived alone, stranded until I was 10. It was then that Joon found me but the person by his side was different. It was Kim Jiyoung and I found out that brother, you had died already." Ji Soyu looked down at her hands that laid on her lap, she bit her lips as she thought about this.

Min Yongjoon looked at Lee Shinwoo, worry deep within his eyes as he hurriedly grasped his hand and gripped it tightly. Lee Shinwoo sent him a reassuring smile.

"I think there were a lot of weird things. I found the cure to the zombie apocalypse and after a decade, the amount of zombies remaining were very little. I...really didn't like what I saw. But...brother, rather than it being seeing the future, I feel like it is just visions from something else. Maybe an alternate world." Ji Soyu said at last, watching Lee Shinwoo's expression closely.

Lee Shinwoo knew right away what this was about. Ji Soyu didn't see the future, she saw what would've happened had Lee Shinwoo not appeared and took the body of the original. A part of him calmed at that. Then again, he wasn't going to let the world tear him from Min Yongjoon no matter what.

Min Yongjoon listened with a rather stone face, a nervousness came from him as he thought about what Ji Soyu said. A world without Lee Shinwoo...Min Yongjoon didn't even want to think about it.

"Soyu, thank you for telling us." Lee Shinwoo said, a smile on his lips as he saw Ji Soyu's eyes brightened.

Ji Soyu showed an energized smile, a bright one that lighted her face as she whispered, "No, I wanted to say the truth no matter what."

"Soyu, you made the cure that helped stop the spread of the zombie?" Min Yongjoon asked even as he kept an eye on Lee Shinwoo, his hand not letting go of him.

Ji Soyu pursed her lips before she replied, "Rather than it being a cure, I think it was for us humans instead. From what I remember, the cure helped humans gain a resistance against zombies so that they didn't get turned into one if the they got injured by the zombies."

Min Yongjoon stared into Lee Shinwoo's eyes for a second, and they nodded their head.

"Soyu, do you remember how you made it?" Lee Shinwoo asked, unable to help himself as he saw Ji Soyu nod her head in a hurry once again.

"Yeah, I made it all by myself in the visions and that vision always repeated many more times than the others. Brother, if you can get me a room and some equipments, I can make it. I remember all the things I need for this." Ji Soyu couldn't tell but her own expression became much happier as she talked about creating the cure.

Min Yongjoon showed a bright smile, his arms grabbed Ji Soyu and he hugged her before saying, "You have just done something that could save everyone. Good job, Soyu."

Ji Soyu's face turned pink as she smiled brightly, showing all her teeth in reply to his comment.

Lee Shinwoo couldn't help but shake his head at Min Yongjoon while raising his eyebrow and said, "I'll see what I can do. I'm sure that we would be able to get a laboratory because there are some scientists also working on this. Don't worry, Soyu. As your brother, I'll definitely help you." Lee Shinwoo winked at the end of his sentence.

Min Yongjoon and Ji Soyu couldn't help but laugh at his antics.

(Fei Shang, I can do whatever I want, right?)

[Host, you can do whatever you wish to. The plot has long since changed, developing the cure any earlier won't change anything. Besides, your only mission is to steal the male lead.]

Lee Shinwoo's couldn't help but take in those words. Steal the male lead, it had a deeper meaning to it now.

(Steal the male lead, you had long since knew that this was going to happen. Fei Shang, there is another person helping you, right?)

[There is, but I cannot say his identity. Host, it's alright, just continue working hard. If you need anything, please tell me and I will get it for you.]

(Alright, but just a another quick check. His name is Zhu Longwang, right?)

Fei Shang couldn't help but be startled at that. He knew that he hadn't given away Zhu Longwang's identity, did that mean that Lee Shinwoo was beginning to get back his memories?

[Yes, Host.]

Lee Shinwoo turned to look as Ji Soyu tackled Min Yongjoon onto the ground, a smile unable to help but make its way towards his face.

The next few weeks were a new ride. Ji Soyu worked with the scientists as she began making the cure, her small body running back and forth as the other scientist looked at her with awe and amazement, helping with everything they could do.

Kim Jiyoung's relationship with Max only got closer as they spent more time together and Ruby pushed them together slowly. Landon was left alone, merely confused by Ruby's action although he soon began helping her soon enough.

Lee Shinwoo made sure to spend all the time in the world with Min Yongjoon, putting their relationship on display for everyone. He didn't hide that he loved this man, he showed it to everyone that Min Yongjoon was his and his alone.

It was too peaceful, and Lee Shinwoo knew that something big was going to happen, especially now that the story has changed far too much.

And it did. Right as Ji Soyu finally developed the cure, a zombie wave happened.

As Lee Shinwoo ran to find everyone, his eyes were filled with fear but he kept a stone face. "Is everyone here?"

Echoes of 'yes' and 'here' were said as Lee Shinwoo made sure he saw everyone. He felt a hand come to clench his own and he gripped it tightly, Min Yongjoon sent him a strain smile.

Lee Shinwoo looked at the huge crowd of zombies outside the gates that were about to fall. The plot was too different, Lee Shinwoo didn't know what could happen next.

But he was scared, he was too scared about the fact that he could lose any of the people he had grown to love.

"Shinwoo, it's alright, we'll all get through this, we definitely will." Min Yongjoon was able to see the darkness in Lee Shinwoo's eyes and he hurried to reassure the man, even as his own heart trembled in fear. He couldn't bear losing this man.

Lee Shinwoo smiled, although it was still a stiff smile.

"Brother, I made the cure. I have enough to pass it out to you all, so please take it. The other scientists have also been given some in cases of an emergency." Ji Soyu declared as she grabbed eleven tiny vials filled with a blue liquid. "It's been tested and those who drunk it didn't have any signs of turning into zombies even when they were attacked."

Everyone grabbed a vial and as Lee Shinwoo drunk it, his heart finally calmed. This much was good, at least he wouldn't lose anyone.

Then, a loud noise was heard as they all finished the vial. The gates had finally collapsed. The zombies were coming.

Min Yongjoon clenched Lee Shinwoo's hand one final time before he let go. As they looked into each other's eyes, a thousand words were exchanged within that very moment.

They didn't say anything but they understood what the other meant right away. As they broke away from one another, the zombies were closer now. All around them were people, those whom had an abilities, those who didn't. Everyone was ready to fight.

Lee Shinwoo couldn't help but feel a staggering pain in his heart as he thought about this scene and how familiar it felt. But he shook it away, now wasn't the time.

He took a deep breath, no matter what, he wasn't going to let anything happen to Min Yongjoon, whether it be by a human's hand or a zombie, they would have to get through him first.
