《Steal The Male Lead》4.14

Min Yongjoon couldn't help but quietly clench his hand. A pulsing in his head continued to throb and Min Yongjoon fixed his facial expression. After Ruby had introduced themselves and Kim Jiyoung explained what had happened, the house was lively now.
Min Yongjoon didn't want to say anything and kept quiet but Lee Shinwoo was able to notice it. How could he not?
Lee Shinwoo raised his brows, getting closer to Min Yongjoon and putting a hand on his forehead as he asked, "Are you feeling alright?"
Min Yongjoon felt Lee Shinwoo's cool hand against his burning head and couldn't help but lean towards it. "I don't know." His cheeks were starting to get pink now and his eyes became cloudy.
Lee Shinwoo automatically knew that he wasn't alright. "Mother, father, Yongjoon isn't feeling good so I'm going to accompany him and see if I can do something about his fever."
Shin Hana nodded her head at that before she resumed her conversation with Ruby.
Lee Shinwoo helped Min Yongjoon stand as they walked back to his room. Min Yongjoon climbed onto the bed as Lee Shinwoo quickly covered him in a blanket. Then, he disappeared into the bathroom and came back with a towel and a bowl of cold water. Drenching the towel in the water, he squeezed it and placed it on top of Min Yongjoon's head. Min Yongjoon couldn't help but groan as the towel was placed on his head.
"How long have you been feeling unwell?" Lee Shinwoo asked as he looked at Min Yongjoon's face that continued to get more red and his breathing that got harder.
With his eyes closed, Min Yongjoon replied, "I don't know, a little bit after I killed all the zombies. It might have been because I overused my ability." Min Yongjoon wrapped the blanket tighter around himself as he opened his eyes and looked at Lee Shinwoo.
"Are you feeling alright though or do you think you might be in bed for a while?" Lee Shinwoo asked with a smirk as he looked at the situation Min Yongjoon was in.
Min Yongjoon cracked a smile at that as he muttered, "I hope I'm not out for that long. I should be well soon, I don't usually get sick anyway."
"Don't jinx it, who knows what might happen," Lee Shinwoo couldn't help but refute. Well, even if Min Yongjoon was sick, Lee Shinwoo would watch him anyways so he didn't have to worry about that.
"Well, you're going to take care of me, won't you?" Min Yongjoon still couldn't help the smile on his face even when he was sick.
Lee Shinwoo took off the towel, drenching it in water again and squeezing it before placing it back on Min Yongjoon's head. "Yep, I guess I'll have too. But don't get sick any opportunity you can just because I said so."

(Male lead's lover percentage has risen to 80%.)
Min Yongjoon chuckled at that. "But you'll take care of me so it seems like I'll be fine then."
Lee Shinwoo sat on the side of the bed as he shook his head. "That doesn't mean you go and get sick again. Do you feel really bad right now?"
Min Yongjoon closed his eyes as he replied, "No, I just have a headache and my body feels hot, that's about it." As if to prove that, Min Yongjoon raised one of his arm and shook it in the air.
Lee Shinwoo rolled his eyes at Min Yongjoon's cheeky smile as he said, "Well, it's a good thing that you don't feel so bad, else I might've given up all hope."
Min Yongjoon couldn't help it as he laughed with Lee Shinwoo's words. "You wouldn't have, you aren't that type of person."
Lee Shinwoo leaned closer to Min Yongjoon's face, his own smirk close to Min Yongjoon. "Oh really? Am I that type of person in your eyes?" As if on purpose, Lee Shinwoo purposely made his voice huskier and his breath passed Min Yongjoon's ear.
Min Yongjoon could tell he was blushing and he was glad that he was sick at this moment. Lee Shinwoo was bold, really bold and he didn't care about what anyone thought of him. That was what Min Yongjoon liked about him.
(Make lead's love percentage has risen to 86%.)
Lee Shinwoo backed away with a smile and Min Yongjoon kept still.
There was a peaceful silence in the room as Lee Shinwoo focused his attention on Min Yongjoon and Min Yongjoon closed his eyes with a soft smile.
"At the age of 16, I began having these weird dreams. Every night without fail, it appeared again and again. There were always three different people in my dreams, but I knew deep down that they were all one of the same person." Min Yongjoon suddenly broke the silence with words that made Lee Shinwoo wrinkle his brows. "Two of the people in my dreams, I watched as I hurt them. I watched as they faded away and then I realized what I had done and tried to make up my mistakes. In the end, they left me. In another dream, in the final form of that man, I had a happy ending with him."
Min Yongjoon smiled as he recounted this, "I married him and we lived together. We adopted children in our lives, and I watched him grow old while I was by his side. I didn't know what those dreams were, but I continued to have them throughout my life. They were never the same, each of them having their own course, but, I could tell that in his final form, that man loved me more than anything in the world. And I did too."

Min Yongjoon took in a deep breath, a content expression on his face before it suddenly got deeper. "And then, I had a different dream. It was the same person but he was also different. He," Min Yongjoon closed his eyes, trying to remember every little detail he possibly could. "He was in love with someone else. He loved that man with all of his heart and he gave him everything he possibly could. In my dream, I was hopelessly in love with that man but the one he loved was not me. He was betrayed though. That man he loved didn't love him. There was too much that happened, all I knew was that I died."
Lee Shinwoo listened carefully, his heart pounding against his chest, almost able to tell what was being told to him from this dream. He clenched his fist where Min Yongjoon couldn't see and secretly took a deep breath. His heart was hurting. That person was him, he had loved someone who wasn't the soul within Min Yongjoon, he had hurt this man whom he now loved more than anything.
It was all making sense now, the dream made sense now, the voices and the fragments of random things that popped into his head. Everything that Fei Shang stated was starting to become clear to him.
A man hated by the world, Fei Shang was describing Lee Shinwoo. He lost the one who truly loved him, Lee Shinwoo had lost Min Yongjoon because he had died. He had hurt the one who loved him more than anything, because Lee Shinwoo loved someone else and hadn't cared about Min Yongjoon.
Realizing all of this, his heart felt like it was shattering. How could he? Why? Then that meant that he was the person in the wrong. Though he had known this, Lee Shinwoo didn't think it through this much. He had fell in love with someone else and Min Yongjoon whom loved him, died.
Lee Shinwoo was betrayed by the one he thought loved him. Maybe that explained why his beginning roles were always the ones hurt or betrayed, he was experiencing the pain Min Yongjoon had gone through.
Lee Shinwoo fixed his expression so that he wouldn't show his true expression as he asked, "And how did you feel about your dreams?" He hid the worry in his eyes as Min Yongjoon rustled around.
With a sleepy voice, Min Yongjoon muttered, "How I felt about them? I don't know. Some of the dreams made me happy, some made me sad, some made me regret so much. Honestly, in the end, the thing I always felt was that that man's happiness is all that matters. Even if he didn't love me, I was happy just being able to say that I once was the one closest to him. Whenever he smiled in that dream, it made my heart flutter so much. Actually, you're the first person who made me feel so familiar." Min Yongjoon shifted once more and his eyes closed as he yawned.
Lee Shinwoo cracked a sad but also calm smile as he said, "Go to sleep. Maybe when you wake up, you'll feel better."
Min Yongjoon dazedly nodded as he finally relaxed. After a few minutes, he was already knocked out, the blanket moving as his chest lifted back and forth.
Lee Shinwoo stared at Min Yongjoon as he slept, a sad smile on his face as he controlled his eyes that began turning red. He reached out a hand to touch Min Yongjoon's face as he bent his head down and gently kissed him on the cheek before backing away.
"I was the one who hurt you, it had always been me." Lee Shinwoo whispered as he began connecting the dots. Though there was so much he didn't know, he could tell that he had hurt this man. That was already enough information for him to tell that it was his fault.
Lee Shinwoo caressed Min Yongjoon's hair as he looked up, the tears in the corners of his eyes stopped their movements.
How much more had he done to hurt this man?
Breathing out to control his feelings, Lee Shinwoo turned to the only one who could answer some of his questions.
(It was me, right?)
[Host, please clarify your question.]
(The person you were always speaking about, it was me, wasn't it, Fei Shang.)
Fei Shang let a moment of silence come between them.
[It was, Host. It was always you. From the beginning, I was always here for the purpose of you.]
Lee Shinwoo digested that. He closed his eyes as he calmed his emotions.
(Then you knew me from before. That means that your reason to being bonded with me is because of something bigger.)
[It is something much bigger. I cannot tell you much, but I have given you many clues hidden within my words. From the beginning, I had already began telling you things that seemed out of place. It was only a matter of time before you figured something was strange.]
As Lee Shinwoo looked at the figure of Min Yongjoon sleeping so peacefully, he suddenly thought about what he would do if this man died. He flinched at that thought.
(Then I will protect him from now on, Fei Shang. Don't worry, I know my wrongs and I promise to never hurt him again. I don't know everything but I will work hard to save him.)
[I know you would, Host, you have always been like that.]

Death Lives
When the universe is destroyed the avatar of death is reborn.Once an all powerful being but limited in scope, Death now has a chance to learn and grow.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is my first novel, please be critical of it where it needs to be. I'm not sure if there will be romance in the future. It is unlikely for the MC but perhaps I will have meaningful relationships between side characters that will be worth adding the tag.The Mature tag is simply because there will be killing, descriptive scenes, and more. There will be no described rape at all in my story, anything of the like will be merely alluded to but not talked about in any matter if at all. Please enjoy and thank you.

Don't Come Inside, Okay?
Lars Cromwell just got dumped by his girlfriend of 3 months, apparently because she found someone better. Although the normal man would have been bummed out by this, Lars didn't particularly mind. Because Lars just won the lottery, which meant he was about a billion dollars richer now. And he had one less person to share it with! Even if he was single, at least he was filthy stinking rich! In any case, this is Lars' story. A story that begins just like how many others do. With his death. Join Lars as he reincarnates into another world as his Avatar together with his favorite game's Dungeon and it's NPCs! = This Work is on an indefinite Hiatus. I do not know when I'll get back to this, but I plan to rewrite a bunch of stuff when I do. If you liked this, keep following it so that I can inform you of when I improve this! = Hello, I'm Lire, and this is my 2nd fiction. I recently got into the whole dungeon thing, and thought that I wanted to write one of my own! Chapter Length: 2000+ Words. It can only be more, never less. Chapter Release Schedule: Whenever I can write. I am juggling this with my main Fiction, so yeah... Disclaimer: - Don't expect much statistical growth from the MC. Although I plan for him to refine his techniques and increase his repertoire. - You can guess from the name, but there will not be too much action in the dungeon itself. Plus, the dungeon has been fully built, so not too many things will be added either. The whole idea is to kill potential intruders before they enter the Dungeon. - This will be more like a Kingdom building story, than a Dungeon Building one. MC will try to dominate his surroundings so that he can keep his Dungeon safe. - There will be Slice of life elements, since realistically speaking, events aren't supposed to happen all the time. - This work is inspired, to a certain extent, by Murayama-sama's Overlord Light novel. Minus the 'emotionless' undead MC, and the premise of misunderstandings. The NPCs will also be aware that they were characters in a game, that came to life for some reason, so no need for MC to role-play to pull the wool over the eyes of his own allies. Also, unlike Overlord, there is a chance for the cast of characters to increase through a built-in gacha system(This is not a spoiler, this will literally be explained in the first few chapters.), except that the rates are absolutely abysmal, so it won't happen frequently. Maybe I'll use a poll to decide the next ally? We'll see.
