《Steal The Male Lead》4.6

Surprisingly, nothing happened. The result wasn't bad and Lee Shinwoo could feel a wave of energy growing stronger from Min Yongjoon and Yoo Jinsook. It was most likely a sign that they would get their ability soon too.
Lee Shinwoo held Ji Soyu within his arms, the girl playing with his hair once again.
"Big brother, do you think I'll get an ability too when I get older?" Ji Soyu asked as her eyes looked at Lee Shinwoo.
Lee Shinwoo couldn't help the chuckle in his throat as he smirked, "Well, that depends. If the zombie apocalypse still continues by the time you get old enough, most likely you will."
Then, Min Yongjoon, who had been standing a bit farther from them walked towards them. With a bright smile on, he looked at Ji Soyu. "You look very pretty."
Anyone being told that would feel shy, especially if that man was handsome and kind. Even Ji Soyu couldn't help the shyness that appeared in her eyes as she smiled and said, "Thank you, mister."
Min Yongjoon's eyes grew brighter with that. It was no surprise to Min Hosung, as Min Yongjoon had always loved children. Ever since Min Yongjoon could remember, kids were his weakness. It just felt normal for him to care for every child he met and it felt wrong if he didn't.
"Uhm, if you don't mind, can I hold you?" Min Yongjoon looked at Lee Shinwoo first before he asked Ji Soyu, undeniable happiness in his eyes.
Ji Soyu looked at Lee Shinwoo first then turned to look at Min Yongjoon. Finally, she stretched her arms towards Min Yongjoon.
Lee Shinwoo watched with a betrayed face as Min Yongjoon carried Ji Soyu into his own arms. "You're going just like that? Not even caring about your brother?" Lee Shinwoo faked a hurt expression as he looked at Ji Soyu whom only smiled back, sticking her tongue out at him.
"Big brother has already held me enough. This is only mister's first time holding me." Ji Soyu clenched her arms tighter around Min Yongjoon's neck.
Min Yongjoon couldn't help but chuckle as he saw their interaction with one another.
(Male lead's love percentage is at 22%.)
Lee Shinwoo grumblingly crossed his arms together and raised a brow as he said, "Didn't you say that I was the most handsome person you've ever met?"
Ji Soyu looked at him blandly. "Big brother, you must be lying to yourself. Obviously, mister is the most handsome person here." Ji Soyu pointed to Min Yongjoon as she said that.
Lee Shinwoo opened his mouth widely, not expecting that answer. Min Yongjoon's eyes widened as he heard that, not knowing what to do. He looked at Lee Shinwoo's expression, wanting to hide in a hole.

"You moved on so quick. Alright, but I'm the second most handsome man here after Yongjoon, alright?" Lee Shinwoo shook his head as he finally said this, a smile on his face as he rolled his eyes.
Ji Soyu paused for a second, taking a second to think before she nodded her head and said, "Alright then, Big brother, I still like you a lot." Ji Soyu smiled brightly towards Lee Shinwoo as she said this.
"Sure, sure, sure," Lee Shinwoo stretched out his words as he said this, rolling his eyes as he stuck his tongue out at Ji Soyu.
"Everyone, come eat!" Shin Hana called out from the kitchen.
The table was set with some simple dishes, mostly side dishes like different types of kimchi and pickled vegetables. There were also soup and rice, but no meat. Not that it mattered, Lee Shinwoo didn't care about fancy dishes, a homemade meal was all that he cared about.
As everyone sat around the table and began eating, Shin Hana looked at the youngsters before her.
"There won't be enough rooms for everyone since there's only three bedrooms. My husband and I will be sleeping together in a bedroom with Soyu. Hosung, you can take the second bedroom with Jinsook. And Yongjoon, you can share a bedroom with Shin. I hope that that won't bother you all since we don't have enough space for everyone." Shin Hana explained.
"Not at all, thank you, Auntie. This is already enough for us, especially since we are intruding too." Min Hosung immediately refuted her words, a smile on his face as he thanked her.
Shin Hana merely shook her head as she said, "It's no big deal at all, especially since you are good friends of Shin."
At that, Lee Shinwoo only stared down at his food, finding it oddly interesting. Ji Soyu looked at Lee Shinwoo, her eyes suspicious as she grabbed some kimchi with her chopsticks and ate it. Then she stared at Min Yongjoon. This man kept staring at her brother, but she wasn't mad about it, she just wanted to know why.
"So, do you have any plan on what you'll be doing in the days coming?" Lee Hwangyang asked as he looked at Min Yongjoon.
Min Yongjoon, startled but that question, stopped staring at Lee Shinwoo and turned to Lee Hwangyang saying, "Well, my brother and I had decided earlier that we would go back to try and find our parents. Although we don't how hard it well be, we want to decide for ourselves if she is still alive or not."
"Well, we definitely won't hold you back but feel free to stay with us for a few more days, at least until you all get your abilities. The apocalypse happened on such a short notice, there are still some turbulences beyond the base." Shin Hana didn't try to dissuade them from their plan and she only gave them her blessings.

"Shin, did you find anything interesting while you escaped to go out?" Shin Hana asked as she smiled towards Lee Shinwoo's direction.
Lee Shinwoo, who was just taking a sip of broth, was barely able to hold back his choke when Shin Hana turned the attention towards him. Calming himself, he said, "Not much. The situation outside isn't that different compared to when it first started. Although, many of the stores have been broken into and destroyed, most clothing and food have been taken too."
Min Yongjoon couldn't help but notice that as Lee Shinwoo spoke, there was a light in his eyes that seemed to glare every once in a while. And, the expression on his face, it seemed so free. Well, the Lee Shinwoo he knew so far cared for his family but his words were also rough at times.
Min Yongjoon quietly ate his food as he listened to the conversation.
After dinner was done with, everyone entered their rooms. Lee Shinwoo entered into his room as Min Hongjoon followed after him.
Lee Shinwoo's room was not too extravagant but it was neat and tidy. Most of the things belonging in his room was either black or white, and there were also some awards from his acting career and famous movies he was in.
Min Yongjoon looked at the awards and trophies, his eyes scanning them and reading them with a smile on his face. As he read them all, he asked, "Do you still miss your acting career?"
Lee Shinwoo looked at Min Yongjoon who was still looking at his things. Lee Shinwoo sat on the bed, raising a brow as he replied, "Nah. It was fun while it lasted but I was planning to retire soon anyways. Being an actor, there are too many things to consider."
"Though I loved my job, some of my fans got out of hand. For most of my career, they felt they had the right to control me and my personal life. I didn't care much about their jabbers and their mindset that I was an object to them, but I did dislike the fact that they thought they could threaten me by saying they'll stop supporting me."
Saying this, Lee Shinwoo chuckled as he said, "What a joke that was. I could care less if they stopped supporting me, the fact that they treated me like an object was already the breaking point for me. Even a lover, that much made them freak out and demand my retirement. I just wanted to know how it got to their mind that I cared for them enough that their words were absolute laws I should follow."
Lee Shinwoo stared at Min Yongjoon's back, his eyes shining mysteriously as he then asked, "And what about you, what was your life like?"
Min Yongjoon couldn't help but freeze for a moment. Then, tearing his eyes away from the picture in his hands he smiled softly as he whispered, "My life was pretty normal for the most part. I had a regular life and except for my face, there's really nothing else that's good about me. I guess the most important thing for me was the day I found out that I didn't like women. It made sense since I had never thought of a women to be beautiful except for my mother, but that's because I was related to her."
"I guess that the day I found that out, I became more observant of women. I didn't like it when they touched me or came too close to me and it mostly had to do with the fact that what they wanted was a relationship that I would never be able to commit to. Strangely enough, I've never found a man that I was attracted to. My brother has found the love of his life but I'm still waiting for the right one to come." Min Yongjoon couldn't help but send a grin towards Lee Shinwoo as he said this.
Lee Shinwoo smiled while shaking his head, "And has that person come?"
Min Yongjoon looked at Lee Shinwoo, whom's captivating face wasn't dimmed by the darkness of the room, a natural light seemed to glow off of him. Each of his features were perfect, his face surpassing even that of a deity's. When he smiled, his dimples showed and the mole by the corner of his lips seemingly darkened.
(Male lead's love percentage is now at 28%.)
Min Yongjoon felt his heart speeding as his face felt like it was getting hotter. Even so, he smiled unknowingly and replied, "Who knows? Maybe that person is already here..."
Lee Shinwoo chuckled as he heard that. "Love, it is a beautiful thing." Lee Shinwoo stood up as he then said, "Well, get on up on the bed. It's getting late and we still need to rest. Just sleep on the bed, I'm not gonna make you sleep on the floor."
Min Yongjoon looked at Lee Shinwoo and the bed, as if it was a trap. Then with his eyes shaking, he hesitated as he replied, "Alright, then."

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations.
