Returning home wasn't hard for Lee Shinwoo, it was finally entering his home that made it an uprising.

Lee Shinwoo stood outside of his doors, Min Yongjoon and the rest of the pack looked on confused.

"Is something wrong?" Min Yongjoon asked as he saw the expression on Lee Shinwoo's face.

Lee Shinwoo stared at the door for a good two second before replying, "Well, it's not a big matter."

Then, Lee Shinwoo entered in the pin and the door unlocked. With shaking hands, he opened it.

Lee Shinwoo entered in first, not wanting his family to be scared by the sudden appearances. Min Yongjoon looked at him, albeit, confused, he followed in too. Min Hosung and Yoo Jinsook held hands as they stepped in, a slight tension in their body.

Ji Soyu was the first to spot him. "Mom! Dad! Big brother's back!" With that, she sprinted towards him. Lee Shinwoo knelt down and opened his arms as Ji Soyu ran into his opened arms.

"Hey, how are you?" Lee Shinwoo said as he lifted her up and stared at her pouty face.

"Big brother, mom's gonna kill you," Ji Soyu whispered to Lee Shinwoo's ear. Then, she turned her face to look at Min Yongjoon first before looking at Min Hosung and Yoo Jinsook. "Hello, big brother's friends."

Min Yongjoon smiled back, lifting his hand to wave at her. Although it was weird how his heart kept pulsing, he looked on at the image of Lee Shinwoo holding Ji Soyu, an image in his mind that felt familiar.

Min Hosung couldn't hide the grin on his face as he looked at Ji Soyu's big eyes, gushing over her cuteness while Yoo Jinsook merely looked at Min Hosung with judgement.

And then, a scream was heard. "Lee! Shin! Woo!" It echoed...

Lee Shinwoo turned his head towards the noise, and approaching him was an angry Shin Hana. A look of panic overcame him as he dropped Ji Soyu on the ground and began to run into the kitchen. He had only gotten three steps away when his feet felt a coldness and they no longer moved. His feet were frozen to the ground. And then, a hand on his ears tugged him down.

"You! How could you just leave like that without even telling me where you were going?" Shin Hana said as she pulled Lee Shinwoo's ear, a look of pain on his face. It was almost like smoke was coming out of her ears. Standing by Ji Soyu, Lee Hwangyang looked at Lee Shinwoo with a sorry face.

Lee Shinwoo looked at Shin Hana with a guilty face as he looked at Min Yongjoon's face, spying a fleeting smile passing by.

"Mother, uhm...you awoken your ability." Trying to change the subject, Lee Shinwoo looked at his frozen feet with ice all over it.

Shin Hana narrowed her eyes, her youthful face glowered at Lee Shinwoo, who couldn't help but gulp. "Are you trying to change the subject on me?"

Lee Shinwoo opened his eyes wide as panic filled his voice, "No, never. Uhm, I'm sorry."

Shin Hana looked at Lee Shinwoo over for a second before she let go of his ear. Then, returning to a gentle voice, she sighed as she said, "What am I going to do with you? You've always been someone who does as his heart wants, you're wild and with an untamed will. Just, next time, don't leave without telling me. I was going easy on you because you're my baby, if you were like your father, then things would've been worse."

Lee Hwangyang gulped at those words.

"I know, Mother." Lee Shinwoo smiled as he hugged Shin Hana, rubbing her back.

"Now, who are your friends?" Shin Hana pulled away, smiling as she looked at Min Yongjoon, Min Hosung, and Yoo Jinsook.

Lee Shinwoo led her to Min Yongjoon first.

"Mother, this is Min Yongjoon. Min Yongjoon, this is my Mother." Lee Shinwoo introduced Min Yongjoon first.

"Hello, Auntie. Sorry, if we are intruding into your place." Min Yongjoon showed a grin that could light up the world as Shin Hana smiled too.

"It's nothing at all, I'm glad that you could come." Shin Hana replied as her eyes turned to Min Hosung.

"Hello, Auntie, my name is Min Hosung, Yongjoon's older brother. This is my boyfriend, Yoo Jinsook." Min Hosung showed a smile too as he introduced himself and Yoo Jinsook.

Once more, Shin Hana smiled as she welcomed them. Then, Lee Shinwoo introduced Lee Hwangyang and Ji Soyu. After the greetings were over, Lee Shinwoo turned to Shin Hana and asked, "Mother, are you the only one who awoken your ability?"

Shin Hana shook her head, "No, your Father also awoken his ability too."

Lee Hwangyang nodded his head pridefully at his wife's words. "Yes, not long after you left, I awoken my ability and then soon afterwards, your Mother also awoken her ability too."

"Father, what is your ability?" Lee Shinwoo asked, looking at Lee Hwangyang in wonder.

"Well," Lee Hwangyang began, scratching his head in questioning. "My ability is wind, although, I have discovered something amazing about it."

Shin Hana suddenly smiled at that and held Lee Hwangyang's arm. "Well, go on, I'm sure he won't be surprised."

Lee Shinwoo suddenly felt a chill creeping up his spine because of that.

And then, a gust of wind lifted him off the ground as he flailed around in the air. "Wow! You can move things using the wind! That's awesome." Lee Shinwoo said as he felt the wind surround him and raise him higher. And then, he was back on the ground again.

With his two feet back on the ground again, he stabilized himself. Then, he turned to look at the silent group of three who had been staring at them in wonder. "You three probably have no idea what we're talking about, right?"

And all three of them nodded their heads at the exact time. For some reason, Lee Shinwoo was really liking his lover who had a dumb look on.

"Well, gather around, its time to start speaking." Lee Shinwoo pulled everyone to sit at a table and began explaining everything once again.

After finally explaining the basics, Lee Shinwoo dug into his pocket, pulling out two the red cores that he had taken from the zombies. "These are called cores. They can help you level up your ability. The higher your ability is, the more advantages you will have against the continuously advancing zombies. Funny enough, these cores are also found in the back of some zombies necks, though not all. If you find any of these, dig them out." Then, he set the two red pearl-like items on the table.

Min Yongjoon spoke up, "Do you know if these will affect people who haven't gotten their abilities?"

Lee Shinwoo shook his head, "Yes, but not in a bad way. If you eat these, they will help you gain your abilities sooner and also help you level up."

At the sound of that, Min Yongjoon nodded his head, his eyes getting darker as he concentrated. Funny enough, speaking like this with Lee Shinwoo felt so normal. It was as if he had always known Lee Shinwoo, and that was already weird by itself. Not to mention, Lee Shinwoo was helping him and Min Hosung and Yoo Jinsook by so much. Upon their first meeting, what was the first thing that had popped into his head? It was that Lee Shinwoo felt oddly familiar.

No, there was also something else. A voice that whispered to him. It was a male's voice.

The words were inaudible but that had become a routine to him now. The first time this had happened, Min Hosung had been worried to death about his conditions. And then, the dreams began. It wasn't often at first, once or twice a month and then it increased.

But there was always one thing that was common in all the dreams. He never saw the other person's face nor did he hear their voice. But, he could feel a familiar presence from Lee Shinwoo and it was comforting to him.

Lee Shinwoo smiled at that and his eyes turned to look at Min Yongjoon whom was still deep in thoughts. "I was only able to get two of the cores but I'm sure that there's more out there. Since not many people know about things such as abilities or these cores, we should be able to benefit from it. These two cores, Mother and Father, I hope you don't mind but I'll be giving it to my friends."

Shin Hana and Lee Hwangyang nodded their head, encouraging him. "We already have our abilities, you should give it to those who don't have their abilities yet." Shin Hana said as she smiled. Lee Hwangyang held Ji Soyu in his arms as he repeated what Shin Hana said.

Then, Min Hosung suddenly began saying, "Actually, I don't know if this is an ability, but if it is, than I don't need the core."

Lee Shinwoo looked at him and asked, "What can you do?"

"Uhm, well, I can heal wounds?" Min Hosung awkwardly said as he sunk into Yoo Jinsook' arms.

Lee Shinwoo widened his eyes. "That's an ability, a relatively rare one at that. You've really hit the jackpot with that. From what I infer, not many people will have that ability."

"If you don't mind me asking, how do you know so much about all of this?" Yoo Jinsook spoke this time, a man of few words, this felt like the first time Lee Shinwoo had heard him speak.

Lee Shinwoo cocked his brow at that. "Being an actor, you get introduced to a lot of things. Many of the movies and dramas I've starred in were about zombies apocalypses."

Min Yongjoon's eyes widened at that. "That's why your name sounded so familiar, I'm a fan of you."

Lee Shinwoo chuckled, "Thank you, it's always nice to meet a fan. Well, here, the two cores. Just swallow it whole like a pill. I don't know what the affects are but just anticipate the worst."

Then, Lee Shinwoo handed the cores to Yoo Jinsook and Min Yongjoon.

Min Yongjoon looked at the core in his hand and gave it a few stares. The fact that it was red made it weirder to think about but he looked at Lee Shinwoo and put it inside his mouth. Yoo Jinsook did the same.

Now, the only thing they could do was wait and see the outcome.

"Xue Lu, I'm giving you this one chance. If you don't want to become known as a devil like me, you can take this chance to move somewhere else and change your identity."

"Baicheng, I've been by you for 500 years now. There is no need for you to worry about my betrayal because it will never happen."

"Why would you follow someone like him? Do you not see how many people he's killed in his lifetime, how evil and cruel he is?!"

"Because he is also someone who's been betrayed by the world, someone who couldn't trust without being backstabbed. That man, I will never betray him for so long as I live."
