《Steal The Male Lead》3.19.5

2 years later, Victor stayed in this world. It was rather interesting to stay behind in a world after completing his mission, but he wanted to stay by Mark. It always brought up the thought of how things would've been had he stayed behind in the other worlds before this, but, at that time he still wasn't in love with the soul within each of the male leads.
It made sense though that the male lead would change whenever Victor took over a new body. But, that was in the past. Now, Mark was by him and that's all that matter.
2 years ago, after Ray waking up, Lucius had confessed his feelings. They got married one year later, much sooner compared Victor and Mark whom were still unwedded.
Raven had also changed, much to Victor's surprise. After helping the royal family take down the Blaxe family, Raven became a full time soldier, where he met Nix and later fell in love with him. They got married a little after Lucius and Ray had, and Raven was already pregnant. Five months along, Raven had now moved on in his life, and Victor was surprised to say that he got along well with Raven.
"Vic!" Lucius screamed excitedly as he ran up to Victor's side.
Victor looked at Lucius, "What are you doing here? I though you and Ray were going on a vacation." Victor quickly hugged Lucius as Lucius leaned in.
"We were going to do that, but Ray said that he had some important matters he had to finish with Mark. After becoming a general, he's gotten even busier. I don't know who to blame, but I think it's mostly you." Lucius pouted as he mumbled, his eyes playfully glaring at Victor. "Raven!"
Victor turned his head behind him where he saw Raven walking towards them, holding his stomach.
"It's a full party here today. Why's everyone gathered here?" Raven said as he smiled gently, a motherly look in his eyes.
"Ray and Mark are having a discussion with some other generals and soldiers. I'm assuming that Nix also got pulled in?" Victor said as he returned Raven's smile.
Raven merely shook his head at that, "Yes, I can't say much because it's his duties though." Raven returned a look at Lucius, "How's everything going on your side? I heard you talking about Ray."
Lucius suddenly seemed to remember his anger at that. "Don't even get me started on him. You know what, I have a lot to say, why don't we go into the castle so I can tell you everything."
Victor could only shake his head as he followed the two of them who were walking in front of him. It was weird how the two were able to mend their relationship after everything that had happened, but it wasn't that surprising.
For Victor, it was much harder to do these things. Once he deemed that someone was unworthy of being trusted, it could take forever for someone to try and change his opinion.
They kept walking and walking until they almost reached the garden when Lucius and Raven looked over to Victor.
"Why are you walking behind us? Come up here, Vic." Lucius said as he pulled one of Victor's hand up and raven pulled the other one.
Now, Victor was walking in front of them. Although he was cautious at first he dismissed it soon later. Walking into the entrance of the garden, he paused for a second.
"Come on, Victor, we don't have any traps set up, you can go in without being so wary." Raven reassured Victor as he gently pushed him in. Raven sent a knowing smile towards Lucius as they looked at each other.

As Victor walked inside, there was a pathway set up for him. It wasn't petals of roses but buds of peach blossoms that guided him as he continued walking. His heart pounded against him, reminding him of what Daniel had done too. Except in that life, Victor had left. This life was different though, he wasn't going to leave.
Victor kept walking and walking, dismissing the scattered whispers of Raven and Lucius. The walk seemed forever as Victor tried to calm his racing heart. Then, the path widened. In front of his eyes, he saw the sight of Mark standing before him, a smile placed upon his lips as he looked at Victor.
Victor could feel his footsteps hurrying, but Mark finished it for him. Without a second to spare, Mark walked towards Victor. Victor could only freeze as he looked at Mark, his heart beating so fast he could barely control himself. It had happened before, but this time everything was different. This time, Victor understood his feelings.
Mark walked to Victor, and slowly held his hands. His other hand reached behind him to pull out a ring.
Mark looked at Victor, clearing his throat as he began speaking, nervousness hidden behind a warm voice full of love. "I know that this isn't much, not enough to reach your worth. Nothing would be able to reach how much you are worth within my heart, but I still wanted you to know. Two and a half years ago, I had first met you. Two years ago, you confessed to me first."
With shyness on Mark's face, he continued to say, "I know that you thought I would turn you away, but I was only relieved. I had actually loved you long ago, I was just afraid to confess to you. But, you were able to find that courage and speak about your true feelings to me. I still think about it. If you hadn't confessed, would I have? I don't know but I feel happy with being able to love you and that's all that matters."
"Victor Sky, you are a gift upon this exhausting road, something that I would never give up. I promise to make you the most happiest man in the world, to give you everything of your wish. Although it may get hard, I will never forget you, never forget us. Victor Sky, would you marry me?" Mark said as he held Victor's hand with his empty hand.
Victor looked at Mark, his eyes a bit red with tears. This man, Victor would love until the end. There wasn't another decision to make, because Victor would never give this man up.
"Yes, it's a definite yes, it will always be a yes." Victor said as he watched the joy spread upon Mark's face, his own smile got brighter.
As Mark slipped the ring on, a series of screams were heard, noises exploding as streamers flew all over them. Victor smiled as Mark grabbed him and embraced him tightly.
Victor looked at the ring. Written on it was 'Never Forget You' signed, Mark & Victor.
It was beautiful, this was beautiful. He would never trade away this moment.
Then, Victor pulled away to kiss Mark on the lips and Mark hurriedly made it deeper. The noises and screams only got louder.
Thank you for existing in this world, the one that I love.
As they stood across from one another, Victor looked into Mark's eyes. Victor was dressed in a gray suit, his hair styled to the side, a smile upon his face. Mark stood in a black suit, holding onto Victor's hands as they looked at each other.

Watching them, a crowd of people whom were close relatives sat. Allen and Rain sat next by each other, holding hands. Even Nile and Will were there, their identities much different now. Nile had become the king of Y Nation, and Will rose to become an advisor even at his young age.
Lucius stood next to Victor as a best man, whilst Ray was by Mark. Raven and Nix sat in the crowd, Nix rubbing Raven's stomach. Two months later, that was when they scheduled the wedding. Mark had gotten Allen and Rain's permission ahead of time before even proposing to Victor. Not that he was going to complain.
"You may say your wedding vows now."
At that, Victor looked at Mark slowly as a mic was handed to him. He scrunched his brow, watching as Mark cocked a brow at him. Smiling, he calmed his nerves.
"I don't know what I should really say to you. But, I'll be honest. When I met you, I didn't think much of you. I thought you were just a person I would meet for a while, I thought that you were the same as everyone else. As we spent more time together, I began realizing that you were different, for my own heart was changing every time I looked at you. It was slow at first and then it increased. Now, it's hard to believe that we're getting married." Victor paused for a moment, his tension rising. His words didn't mean only this world, it was for the two worlds before this. His words meant much more.
"I promise to love you for as long as I live, for as long as my soul is intact. No matter how hard our life may be, I will love only you. I wish to grow old with you, to hold your hands, to go through all of life's difficulties never leaving your side. I will give you everything I have, will give you all of my love, and I will never let you suffer from us. I will never forget you, I can never forget you." Victor ended his words, choking back a sob as his eyes grew red.
Mark lifted a hand to wipe away a tear at Victor's eyes as Victor handed the mic to him. "Thank you for giving me this chance to love you. I have nothing much to say but I want you to know that you are worth everything in this world. Diamonds and gold pale compared to you, even the sunlight shies away from your light. You have so much power that you hold, maybe that's why I gave you my heart. You are the light to my darkness, the day to my night, the sun to my moon. You are my other half, the only one that can complete me. I love you more than words can say. A thousand pains in return for your safety, it is something I will always be willing to do."
Victor's heart pulsed as he heard Mark's sentence, as if he had heard something similar to it before. His voice was the same, the same feelings behind them, but, something felt different. This had to do with his past.
"Is that all there is to be said?"
Victor looked at Mark as they both nodded their head.
"You may exchange rings."
Mark held the ring in his hands as he slipped it onto Victor's rings finger. Victor held his own ring, slipping it onto Mark's ring finger as they held each other's hands.
"I pronounce you a wedded couple, you may now kiss."
Mark looked at a Victor as he pulled him in, the screaming made it all too apparent that they were still being watched. Instead, Mark gently kissed Victor, a kiss that wasn't too romantic but sweet. It was a kiss that seemingly transferred all his love. Victor accepted it.
Breaking away from the kiss, Mark held Victor's hand as they faced the crowd, a smile on both of their faces as they turned to glance at each other.
It was official, they were now married.
Three months later, they stood next to each other as Raven gave birth to a baby boy.
One year later, they were by each other to hear the news of Lucius' pregnancy.
Two years later, they adopted their own kids, two boys and one girl.
Ten years later, they had both aged but their love remained youthful still.
Fifty years later, their hair had both faded to white, their faces now held wrinkles, but they were still together even as their children got married and had their own lives.
Now, as Victor sat next to Mark's sides, visible tears were in his eyes.
The man in the bed was clearly having trouble breathing but he still held onto his life. His once black hair was now white, his handsome face had aged with years.
"Hey, Victor, you still look the same as the day I met you." Mark said as he looked at Victor.
Victor smiled. His face was now wrinkled, his hair white, and he had even lost his teeth.
But Victor replied, "You do too, my dear husband."
Mark smiled as he heard that, his body leaning down onto the bed even more. "Victor, I will never forget you, I can never forget you."
"I will always remember you, so please remember me too." Victor said as he held Mark's hand. Mark seemed content with that reply as he closed his eyes, his breath slowing down as it came to a stop, his heartbeat stopping.
Victor looked at Mark for another minute, tears gently falling down his face as he caressed Mark's face. When he had finally calmed himself, he leaned his head against Mark's still warm chest.
(Fei Shang, I'm ready to leave.)
[Yes, Host.]
And with that, their chapter came to an ending.
Who knew how long it was before they were finally able to be together in a lifetime? To love without worry, living with one another by the other's side?
How fast is a lifetime when the one you love most is by your side? When your time comes, do you wish that time had gone by slower?
With the right person, even a lifetime would never be enough.
And it will hurt. To continue living without the person you love most by your side, will you look at the empty side of your bed with tears?
But, they lived happily, so this chapter's closing shouldn't be too sad. They were happy that's all that matters. Now, please make it last for every other lifetime so that when you meet each other once more, you won't regret anything.
Remember the words you said, you must definitely remember.
"I will never forget you, I can never forget you."
"I will always remember you, so please remember me too."

World Master
Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas. World Keeper (obviously) The Wandering Inn The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound (not yet, but eventually) A bunch of others that I haven't thought of yet
