《Steal The Male Lead》3.19

(Fei Shang, can you scan this place for anyone?)
[Host, there are twenty guards surrounding the mansion, but there is a secret entrance. Follow the path and push a red brick that would open up the entrance. The entrance leads to the basement of the mansion, but you will need to follow the path for a while. Ray isn't the only person being kept in that place, many other people are too.]
(Alright, thanks, please keep a look out for any guards that might walk up on us?.)
[Yes, host.]
Victor turned to look at Mark, and grabbed his hand tightly as he looked at the clear walkway. Finally, Fei Shang spoke.
[Host, you're clear. Keep following the path and push the red brick. If any guards are to show, I'll give you a warning.]
(Thanks, Fei Shang.)
With that, Victor began walking, tugging Mark after him. Mark merely let Victor pull him as they began walking, still keeping up their guard.
Victor kept walking and walking until he was able to spot the red brick that Fei Shang was speaking about, and without any words said, he pushed it. The path suddenly split into two, a staircase showing as Victor turned to look at Mark.
"Ready?" Victor asked, not letting go of his hold on Mark.
Mark looked at Victor, the love in his eyes unable to be hidden as he replied, "Yes, let's go."
Without another word, they stepped into it, the path closing up after their entrance.
Lucius clenched his hands tightly. He was fighting each of his urges that told him he should march in and take Ray with him, away from that place. He was regretting it. Why had he even agreed in the first place? Returning to strangers? It sounded like something every person would say when they knew that would be hurting the other side. He should've never agreed in the first place.
Victor had told him that he should stay in the castle and not go with them, but Lucius didn't want to do that. He wanted to see for himself how much Ray had sacrificed to save him. He had a hunch when he noticed how Ray would change every time Lucius mentioned his kidnapping. Although Lucius knew that Ray was doing something else, something much bigger than what he was saying, he never expected this.
He regretted it. Lucius wanted to tell Ray something. Because he had been too confused, he had wanted time to let him sort out everything, now, things might be too late. Dang it, Ray had to be alive, he had to...
Ray flinched awake as he heard footsteps enter the room. His tired eyes awoken as he peered at who had come.
Unsurprisingly, it was Raven.
"You're awake, that's good," Raven said as he smiled. He walked closer to Ray, the love in his eyes almost made the scene seem different, but reality wasn't like that. "I think you understand your mistakes by now, Ray. I'm letting you go one last time, please don't prove me wrong. I really love you, but I can't protect you from everyone else that you betray. I know that you despise me, but, I promise that you'll understand soon."

Raven walked closer to Ray, grasping a key in his hands as he began to unlock the chains around his wrist and ankle.
Ray would struggle or try to run, but he knew that something was wrong with the way that Raven was acting. Plus, his body was feeling too weak at the moment and he had enough strength to knock someone out, that was it. He had to save it for the right moment.
"You're not in critical conditions, I made sure that no bones were broken. You lost a bit of blood, but that matter would be solve sooner or later. As for your injuries, you might have some scars, but, I won't affect you at all." Raven said as Ray fell into his arms and Raven helped him walk.
Ray tried not to let his anger get to him. Keeping himself calm, he let Raven help him walk, letting Raven guide him to whatever place they were going.
Suddenly, the loud shouts of voices came into Ray's ears.
"Get them! Doesn't matter who they are, dispose of them!"
Ray tried not to show his shock, but he could get the gist of things now. People had come.
"Some people have broken in, but, that matter would be solve soon, so you don't have to worry." Raven reassured Ray.
Ray made sure not to give any signs that he was planning something.
"Turn the right corner!"
That voice, Ray could recognize it. It was Victor and an unknown male.
The footsteps were getting closer, but Ray could tell that Raven wasn't panicking. Ray opened his eyes to see the sight of two male running at them, Victor and...Mark, if that was his name.
"Hey, you guys made it in sooner than what I thought. Sorry that I won't be able to get involved in this, I have matters to settle too. But, I can call more people for you." Raven smirked as he said this. With his words, ten guards appeared out of nowhere.
Victor cursed before he started getting working. Mark also followed close after him.
Ray already what he was going to do, he was just waiting for the right moment.
When there were only two guards left, Ray moved himself in front of Raven.
"Hey, can I say something?" Ray said with a light smile.
Raven widened his eyes with surprise before a happy smile appeared. "Yes, of course you can."
Ray smiled then pulled Raven into a tight hug. Raven let out a gasp of surprise.
"Hey, Raven, thank you. I should have known what you were doing earlier, I should've listened to you. I didn't know that my actions were hurting you, and I didn't know how much you've done for me. If I had realized it sooner, I wouldn't have been such a fool. You have been hurt so many times when you were younger, and I was blindly in love with someone else." Ray quietly whispered into Raven's ears.
"Ray," Raven called out, shock in his voice, almost like he was going to tear up.
"So I want to tell you something," Ray said before his smile widened into a sneer, the light in his eyes fading. "I can't love you." With that, Ray stabbed the dagger into Raven's stomach.

Raven let out a gasp as he fell to the ground, holding onto the dagger.
Ray pulled back, barely supporting his body as he stood.
Victor came to his side, "Well, you finished up the job rather cruelly." Victor widened his eyes as he looked at Raven on the ground.
"Yeah, he deserved that. I do feel bad, he was a brother to me. But, he has killed too many innocent people, and his ambitions are too high." Ray only shook his head as he replied.
Raven suddenly laughed as he heard Ray's words. "Is that what you had always thought of me? Since I already feel like I've been killed, why don't you just kill me?"
"No, you can still right your wrongs, Raven. So, please change, for me, for yourself, please realize that you are also harming yourself. You don't love me, but you think it's love because you have never experienced it. Raven, your upbringing is to blame. Your father was poisoned to death, Cole abused you when you were younger. Everyone around you spat at your existence, they hated you. When you found me, you latched yourself onto the one person whom saved you, who didn't look at you in spite." Ray knew that Raven could change himself, because other than his emotional reactions, he was a great person.
Raven didn't say anything, he sunk down in his place. Then, with a sudden action, he pulled out the dagger that was in the side of his stomach.
"What do you want me to say, Ray? After everything I've done, I will never be able to fix it. I've killed so many people, I won't be able to bring back their lives even if I want to." Raven covered his wound with his hand, pushing against it as he stood up, meeting Ray in the eye.
"No, but you can save other people. It's hard, I know, Raven, but please give it a chance. And, it's not too late yet, you can find someone who loves you and not someone like me." Ray whispered, watching as Raven remained silent.
Meanwhile, Victor only held onto Mark's hand, feeling like they were intruding on a moment. Mark looked at Victor and smiled, raising Victor's hand to his lips and giving it a gentle kiss.
And then, Ray collapsed...
Lucius looked at the image of Ray lying on the hospital bed. Two days ago, Victor had come back with an unconscious Ray, startling Lucius. Raven had also come, although, his purpose was for the better this time.
What startled Lucius most was how bloody Ray looked. He had cuts all over his body, bruises and the branding marks that lingered on his body. Lucius almost cried when he saw Ray. Now, Victor and Mark were dealing with the duties about Y Nation, Raven had apologized for his actions and helped take down Cole and his underlings with the illegal drug dealings. All that's left was for Ray to wake up.
Lucius smiled as he looked at the peacefully sleeping Ray. "Hey, when you wake up, would you be willing to begin a relationship with me? I have finally realized that I love you, Ray Blaxe. I love you." Then, Lucius grasped onto Ray's hand and looked at his face before lying down his head next to Ray's arms and closing his eyes.
As soon as Lucius did that, Ray opened his eyes to look at Lucius, smiling. His answer was yes, it was a definite yes.
Victor held onto Mark's hands as he leaned his head on Mark's shoulder.
"Hey, Mark, can I ask you something?" Victor asked, keeping his smile on as he carefully held Mark's hands.
Mark looked at Victor whom was leaning on him. His eyes held a soft warmth within them. "Yes, ask all you want." He gently kissed Victor's head.
"For the rest of this lifetime, can I trust that you will promise to love only me?" Victor sat up, looking into Mark's eyes as he asked this.
Mark suddenly smiled, "Only this lifetime? Victor, I can tell you that no matter what lifetime it is, I will be by your side. No matter the hurdles of life, no matter what kind of separation, I will find you no matter what. I will protect you, I will shield you away from the danger of this world. Will that work with you?" Mark said as he raised his hand to grasp Victor's face.
Victor smiled, slight tears at the corners of his eyes. "Alright then, you must do what your words say because from now on, you will never be able to escape from me. I will find you no matter what."
"Victor, you are my love. No matter how rocky the road is, I will never forget you, I can never forget you." Mark whispered when he saw Victor's eyes.
Victor looked into Mark's eyes and repeated his words. "No matter how rocky the road is, I will never forget you, I can never forget you."
Victor leaned into Mark, capturing his lips as he gave him a soft nip.
[Male lead's love percentage has reached 100%, good job to host. Will you stay in this world?]
(Yes, yes, I will stay.)
They made a promise now, a promise that may last forever. Please keep it forever, that no matter who you meet, that no matter how hard everything is, never betray the love of your life.
Never forget one another, the love that you've held, never let go of it. Keep it in your memories, and never forget how much love and happiness you gave one another.
And even if it ends in separation, never forget the lesson you were taught. Never forget the pain, the mistakes made when things got hard. Keep it and learn from it, treasure it, and never forget it.
Love is like this, just never forget your experience.
