《Steal The Male Lead》3.2

Victor easily noticed Lucius, unsure about how this little boy seemingly became evil for love. Was love really that powerful?
"Hello, Lucius, how are you? You've really grown since the last time I saw you." As Victor said this, his lips supported a big smile as Lucius got up from his seat, rushing towards him. He was an alpha, yet, in that moment, he looked so gentle as he stared at his younger brother.
Victor opened up his arms, watching as Lucius ran towards him at full speed. If it was a normal alpha, even they would've fell back from the impact, but Victor stood upright, his body straight as he stared at the man who was holding onto him tightly. Victor was taller than Lucius, and his body held onto Lucius, almost as if he was protecting him from any other alpha or beta that tried to get close to his brother.
He smiled as he watched the younger male hold onto him, almost feeling like he himself had done this before too. But...Victor knew that he hadn't, at least, not that he could remember.
"You liar! You said that you would come back after a few days, but you left for so many years and you didn't even come back." Lucius wouldn't have acted like this to anyone. But, towards his older brother, Lucius couldn't help but cry out his grievances. He was so close to Victor and this brother of his went and disappeared for so long, although he missed him, he couldn't help but also yell at him.
"I'm sorry, I had to stay for longer than expected. I'm guessing you missed me?" Victor couldn't help but crack a gentle chuckle as Lucius pulled away from him. It was only then that he noticed that Lucius smelt like a sweet lemon, citrusy yet also a hint of honey. It actually was interesting.
Allen smelt like a metallic blood, Rain smelt like the sweet fragrance of flowers, and Lucius smelt like lemons and honey. Now he wondered what he smelt like...
"Miss? You disappeared for a half for my life, leaving when I was only 9. I miss you but I also think that you're a bad brother for just leaving me like that." Lucius glared at Victor as he saw the foolish smile on his face, wanting to give him a good hit on the head.
Victor couldn't hide the foolish smile on his face, but deep down, he was also crying. The original soul was a serious fool for his brother and truly loved him. Not in the incest sorta way but more of that that he would give anything in the world to protect Lucius. Now, he was the one who had to play that role.
"Instructor, I hope you don't mind, but I will be speaking with my brother privately for the rest of the day. Please send the lessons that you'll be teaching to the palace." Victor turned to the instructor who was standing to the side.
"Yes, Your Highness."
Turning to raise an eyebrow at Lucius, Victor then walked out the door with Lucius railing behind. As they left, am eruption occurred in the classroom.
"That's the first prince?! I thought he would be more menacing like the King. I mean, not that I'm complaining but he seems so much like us."

"Did you see the way Prince Lucius pouted when Prince Victor began teasing him? Even though he is an omega and Prince Victor is an alpha, they seem so close. They look so much closer than any other omega and alpha siblings."
"Prince Victor went abroad for so long I wonder why he had to? And it sounds like even Prince Lucius didn't know why he was gone."
"Hah...Prince Victor seems so kind. He looks so handsome and that smile of his is simply breathtaking. Not to mention, his family is just so spectacular. If I had the chance to be his consort, I would die of happiness."
"Silence, students, class will begin now."
Lucius followed after Victor, asking, "Where are we going?"
"I need to take you to the army grounds." Victor replied with a short sentence, observing Lucius from the corner of his eyes.
Lucius looked back confused, "Army grounds? What for?"
As they got inside the car waiting for them, Victor said, "I heard from Father and Pa that there is a man you fancy. If someone is going to try and take my baby brother from me, I need to assess them first. Plus, Father ordered me to become an instructor at the military base grounds. I need to get use to the people there and I need to look out for the man you like." Saying this, his face didn't even blush with shame but he was dying of laughter inside.
Lucius sighed with anger, his hands moved as if he was getting ready to hit Victor. "I don't fancy him, I just think he's interesting. And you're talking about Mark Stephens, the youngest general. He became a general at age 18, rising from a small and normal family. Within his years at the military school, his power steadily rose. I don't know for sure but it's rumored that his pheromones are really strong or something like that. Anyways, right now he is currently 25. I don't fancy him because there is already a beta vying to get his attention."
Victor's eyes darkened gradually, almost as if he was curious but also angry. "A beta? Someone is trying to take my brother's man? Who is it?"
"For the last time, Vic, I don't fancy Mark. It's just, he is different from the other alphas that I've met. And the beta is Raven Blaxe, the Prime Minister's second son. Right now he is currently 22 years old and is a soldier under Mark. They say that he's talented in martial arts, not that I would know." Lucius finally couldn't help it and knocked his knuckle against Victor's head, scolding him lightly. It was hard to tell who was older.
Victor merely laughed as Lucius hit him, the pain almost unnoticeable to him. "Alright then, if you say so, then your older brother will agree to your words. But, since you don't fancy that Mark dude, then you must not get distracted by anything. When I'm talking to everyone, I expect you to be by my side throughout everything."
"Alright, Vic," Lucius didn't bother to argue with Victor. He already knew his brother's personality. Carefree, easygoing, overall, playful to the heart. He knew that Victor cared for him deeply and cherished him much more than what outsiders knew. Even when he was just a kid, Victor always carried him around, playing with him even when he had lessons taught by their royal tutor.

Lucius still remembered that day in his heart, the day that Victor left for the next 9 years, unable to return. On that day, who knew what had happened, but, it was as if Victor had gone out of control. His brother was almost acting like that of a madman, he went crazy, destroying everything in his way. Lucius still remembered smelling a strong smell, like the salty air from the ocean, enveloping him harshly and his breathing slowed. It was only after yelling out his brother's name a few times that the force disappeared, his brother back to normal.
After that, his brother cried and cried as he hugged him, repeatedly asking him if he was alright. For Lucius, it was the first time he had ever saw his brother cried. Even when he broke his arm, even when he cut himself with a sword, even when he got burnt by fire, he had never flinched nor shown a hurt expression, much less cry. And soon after, his brother was sent abroad without him knowing that he would be gone so long. He only found out that the 3-day trip was going to last maybe even forever.
Lucius didn't blame his brother, he would never blame his brother. He had clearly seen the devastation within his brother's eyes after realizing what had happened, the hurt shown clearly on his face. What he regret most was that he was unable to say it wasn't his fault, to tell Victor that he didn't blame him. Now, they both had already grown up.
"Your Highnesses, we have arrived."
"Thank you," Victor smiled as he got out of the car, reaching out a hand towards Lucius, who accepted it with raised eyebrows.
As they walked into the large gates, it revealed a large white building. There were a lot of land area, which was understandable.
"Your Highness, this is where the first batch of soldiers are. Along with them are the three generals who train them, General Mark, General Noah, and General Ryle." The person guiding them pointed to a large door as they walked inside the building. On the sign next to the door, the word ammunition was written.
"Thank you for guiding us, you may leave now." Victor, though not very accustomed to his role of a prince, was still able to say the words needed. Straightening his back and fixing his attitude, he turned to look at Lucius who was looking at him with curious eyes. "What?"
"Nothing, you just seem more...powerful now. You look more like a prince now than when you were speaking to me in the car." Lucius didn't sugarcoat his words, stabbing right into Victor's heart.
Victor just simply shook his head as he smiled. "Ready?"
"Yep," Lucius nodded.
Victor pushes the big doors with one hand, stepping aside to let Lucius walk in first before he followed. A wave of pheromones hit him, only betas and alphas though. Victor could feel the stares linger on him, as if they were dismissing Lucius' presence and focusing on him.
Victor looked quickly into the crowd, spotting Raven immediately then seeing Mark. Disguising the grin on his face and turning it into a light smile, he walked into the front of the room, standing in the center, not afraid at all.
(Raven Blaxe, 22 years old)
(Mark Stephens, 25 years old)
A smell suddenly engulfed his senses, like the smell of a burning fire, it was smokey. He was able to tell where the smell came from, after all, the man was now standing by his side.
With a sudden punch from Mark, Victor gently pulled Lucius into his arms, avoiding the attack with outmost elegance. Avoiding the attack much quicker than the eyes could catch, he turned back to look at Mark.
"General Mark, how great it is to meet the youngest general...My name is Victor Sky, the first prince and new instructor who will be training this squad. This is my brother, the second prince, Lucius Sky." Victor smiled as he took away the arm that held Lucius, as if he was unbothered with the attack that was aimed for him just now.
Lucius was also unaffected, thinking that Victor did deserve to be punched. He was still going to hold a grudge against this man for disappearing for 9 years.
Mark looked at Victor with cold eyes, an expression that could chill one to death. His face was expressionless, empty and cold. His pheromones were coming out in a violent wave, and Lucius was also getting affected by that.
Lucius flinched back, cold sweat over his body. Victor noticed and was immediately angered, his eyes flaring up as he hid Lucius behind him, using his own pheromones to encase Lucius in a protective barrier while also dismissing Mark's attack.
"General Mark, if you have any funny business with me, you should let only me on it. There is no need for you to involve my brother between us, is there? Or...are you just simply wanting me to get pissed off at this moment?" With his words, his pheromones released, filling the room immediately.
Every alpha in the room froze, even the betas were affected. Their bodies weren't responding the way it wanted to, almost making them want to cower.
Victor's released pheromones were too powerful, overwhelming. And now, as it filled up the room, there were many emotions clearly displayed from it. Anger, discontent, blood-thirst, and most of all, a show of rank. Using his pheromones, he was telling everyone that he was more powerful than them, that if he was angered, he wasn't going to stop at nothing to get rid of them. He was telling them that in front of his presence, they were but small ants that he could squash at any moment.
Mark's eyes glinted with curiosity as a wave of salty yet calming scent made its way towards him, interested by the domineering way Victor had acted. He didn't stop once to think about what he should do, merely going right into it. So this was the first prince, Victor?
Working together with him, it was definitely going to be interesting.
