Daniel looked at his computer screen, his eyes on the screen but his mind was on a whole different story. He was sure that Andy and the child from his memories were the same person, that being known, what had happened throughout these years? What had caused Andy to become the person he was today?

Daniel didn't mean it in a bad light, he just wanted to know why the Andy from his memories and the Andy now seemed different. If anything, ever since that day, Daniel would've thought that Andy was living a great life.

But then, Daniel suddenly remembered something from two years ago, when Avian was in a coma. As he thought about it, his heart grew intense with fear.

It was a conversation between Rose and Theo, something that Daniel had overheard. Because he didn't know anything back then, he hadn't thought about the things that he should've. Now thinking back on it, Daniel felt like a fool. The facts were right in the open, yet Daniel didn't notice anything weird. He had always thought that Avian and Rose treated Andy close, but now, Daniel felt like the greatest fool ever.

~Two years ago~

Daniel stood outside the hospital room, about to open the door and walk in when he overheard two voices, seemingly arguing.

"If he comes back, then a heart would be given to Avian. I will force him to come back if I have to. You should know how much Avian means to me, and you should know that that bastard child will never be considered mine."

"Do you even know what you are suggesting? Are you trying to make this family crumble apart even more than what you have already done? Think about what you just said, because to me, it sounds like the plot of murder."

"What do you mean murder? It won't be murder if he agrees to, it won't be murder if he gets into an accident. As long as any of these things happen, Avian will have a heart. That means that my child will survive this ordeal. And family? That bastard isn't even of my blood, why should I care if he dies or not? Isn't that bastard your son from your old girlfriend? That child isn't mine, and I will never consider him mine."

"You need to calm down, and think about how your words make you look like right now. Think, because you are tearing down your image. Anyone in their sane mind would never suggest such things. You're right, he isn't your child, he isn't of your flesh and blood, but he is mine. Just like Avian is, he is of my flesh and blood. Whatever you've done to him in the past, you should know clearly enough that I still despise you for your actions, and that should already be a warning to you. You have scarred him, harmed him beyond of my control, and I regret the fact that I only found out after he left. I regret that I only found out after I could no longer help him out, after you have scarred him beyond recovery. You, as a mother should know the pain of your child being harmed, so why did you do that to him!?"

"Oh! So now you're going against me? I am the one who married you, why should a bastard child be the eldest son, why should I have to pretend like I gave birth to him when I didn't? I was in love with you and because of that, I married you. Because of me, you gained power and wealth, yet you actually had a child with some other person."

"I don't love you, I only married you because your father pressured me into it. Power and wealth, I could have gained that with my own hands. I had someone I loved, and she was the love of my life. Yet, you who were infatuated with me, you forced her and I apart, yet you think that I am in the wrong? She killed herself, she killed herself after giving birth to my child because of her pain. She left that child at our doorstep, leaving only a letter behind. She jumped off of a building, she killed herself because she couldn't take the pain she was going through. And who do you think was the cause of it all? Everything you have done, I can no longer stop it, but I will let you know this. If you even think about doing anything to him once more, I will not let you go. You have already took away the love of my life, I will not let you take away the son that she left for me."

"So you are going to let Avian die? You're going to let our child die in front of your very eyes? Avian is my beloved child, I will do anything to keep him alive."

"If by doing anything, it means sacrificing someone else, then I will never help you. Avian may be my son too, but think about how he's been acting behind my back all these years. Think about what Avian has done using my name and my power. Right now, I only have one son and that son is not Avian."

As Daniel recalled this conversation, he suddenly had a realization. Andy wasn't Rose's child but he was Theo's son from the woman he loved. If that was it, then that meant Andy had the heart Avian needed, thus, that was why Rose had suggested such thoughts.

And though it was never said directly, Avian seemed like he was doing something all these years, to the point where even Theo couldn't trust his own son anymore. Then that means that Avian didn't changed because he had a new heart, he had always been that type of person.

And that wasn't all, from their conversation, it could be clearly noticed that Theo hadn't married Rose out of his will because he was planning to marry someone else.

Then there was also the fact that Andy was abused throughout his life by Rose. Theo didn't have a hand on it and he never noticed it, but that only meant that Rose only did such things when Theo wasn't around. Since that is so, it explained why Andy didn't like his family, and why he is who he was today.

Was he crazy before? Before meeting Andy, Daniel had never though much about this conversation, as if he didn't care about the words that were exchanged, but now, he suddenly had an interest in it. It was as if he was blinded, or as if he had ignored such an important fact.

Without knowing why, Daniel's heart was in pain. Andy had gone through so much, yet Daniel hadn't been there by his side. As the person who had met Andy long ago, he never met him once again. They even went to the same high school and yet, Daniel still didn't seem to realize who Andy was. If Andy had known from the beginning, if he had remembered everything, did that mean that Daniel was the one who had forgotten it?

Andy went through so much, but Daniel had forgotten him during this time. He was really a scum. Although it couldn't necessarily be considered his fault, Daniel blamed himself for this too.

If he had found him sooner, if he had remembered sooner, even just by a little, he could've lift Andy's pain. Why couldn't had Daniel find Andy sooner?

With the sudden rise, Andy was left confused out of his mind as he stared at Louis engulfing Sam in a bear hug.

(What the heck, how did it increase so much, System? I didn't even do anything yet, I wasn't even thinking about doing something yet. How did the love percentage increase so much?)

[Host, the male lead has found out some important facts on his side. Would you like me to tell you?]

[I've always been able to, you just never asked, Host. Would you like me to tell you?]

(Yes.)

[Okay, then. Daniel has found that Andy's was abused throughout his life when he was younger. He also uncovered the culprit, who is Rose, and along the way, he also found out some other facts. Andy is not Rose's child, he is instead, the child of Theo and his lover, who had committed suicide. Theo did not marry Rose out of his free will, but was forced to, and had to end the relationship between his lover. After Theo and Rose got married, Andy was born, but his mother left him at Theo's doorsteps before she jumped off of a building, ultimately ending her own life. Theo had not realized that Andy was being abused until after Andy moved abroad. Daniel had also started feeling regrets for not realizing who Andy was sooner.]

(Wow, that's a lot of information that was hidden. Dang, talk about some hidden plot line. So Avian was never told this fact and Andy never knew that Rose wasn't his mother even at his death. This is like some messed up fairytale. I mean, I knew I hated Rose, but now I hate her even more. Theo, he's not such a bad dude, so I won't plot for his destruction, but Avian and Rose are going down.)

[Host, Avian has invited some of his buddies to Anolas. They aren't exactly the nicest of dudes.]

Andy turned his eyes to the bunch of people who had just entered. The aura from them was menacing, and they certainly looked like some bad people. Though they weren't the buff kind of men, they did look evil.

Andy resisted the urged to show an evil grin.

Time to put his fighting skills to use.
