The group was almost neared the base. Zhu Yin looked and saw that this was where the group was attacked by zombies. The road was littered with cars, so the van was driving slowly. Suddenly, the group felt something hitting the car. Out of nowhere, a zombie came and attacked on the drivers side. Ling was driving, and he panicked when the zombie attacked, so he stopped the car. Ji Ning felt himself pale and looked at Ling, "Don't stop. Hurry and drive!"

But before Ling could do anything, the van was already surrounded by zombies. This was the first time, the group was seeing the zombies so closely. Some of the zombies still looked humans, except for their really pale face, and bloodshot eyes. The group was surrounded from all sides. Zhu Shen saw the situation, and decided to act first. "We can't stay inside like this. We have to fight. Everyone use your powers to attack the zombies, then hurry up and get out. Once everyone is out, then it would be easier to take care of the zombies." Everyone knew that is the only way to survive, so they prepared themselves.

Zhu Shen aimed at the window on his side of the car, and use his lightning to shoot at the zombies. The glass shards hit the zombies, and they back away. Zhu Shen uses this chance to throw open the door, making the zombies fall. He starts using his gun to shoot at the zombies head. Everyone followed Zhu Shen's lead, and got out of the car one by one. Zhu Yin made sure to keep an eye on the FL, so she can stop her in time from getting someone hurt. Zhu Yin was using her two guns to fire at the zombies. Her every shot lands on the zombie head. There were a few dozens of zombies. Everyone was busy fighting the zombies, except for Su Ting. She stayed close to Ji Ning. Su Ting knew that she couldn't fight, and to not put herself in danger, she made sure to stay close to Ji Ning.

Suddenly, a zombie broke through, and ran straight towards Su Ting. Su Ting saw that, and screamed. Everyone was distracted for a moment to see where the scream came from. They saw a zombie rushing towards Su Ting, and also saw how Su Ting pushed Ling in front of her to save herself. Everyone could only watch as the zombie open his mouth to bite. Ling just closed his eyes in despair, and knew he was going to die. But the expected bite didn't came. Ling opened his eyes to see what happened. He saw the zombie that was going to bit him laying on the ground burning in flames. Ling looked at Zhu Yin in surprise, and knew that Zhu Yin saved his life.

"Ling, don't stand their blankly, and kill the zombie. Everyone, pay attention to the fight." Everyone woke up from their trance after hearing Zhu Yin's voice. They looked at the zombies, and saw them being very close to them. They quickly got back to fighting. In 10 minutes, all the zombies were dead. Ji Ning looked at Su Ting, and felt disappointed. He thought that she was a kind girl, but it seemed as though he was wrong. To save herself, she would endanger someone else's life. Everyone saw the zombie rushing towards her, and one of them would have been able to save her. Ji Ning was glad that he was able to see her true face, or who knows what would have happened in the future.

Su Ting also realized that she made a mistake, when the eyes of everyone looking at her turned cold towards her. She wanted to explain, but didn't know what to say. Ji Ning went towards her, and told her, "Miss Su, we don't mind taking you with us for the rest of the journey towards the base, but after that we would go our separate ways." After saying this, Ji Ning left her their, and went to the others to plan their route towards the base. The base wasn't very far, and so it would take them at least one hour to get their. They quickly planned everything, and started walking towards the base. Su Ting could only follow after them.

As expected, it took the group one hour to get the base. When they arrived, they saw two lines heading towards the entrance. One of the lines was for ability users, and the other for normal humans. The line for the ability users was much smaller than the line for normal humans. Since everyone in the group was ability users, they went to the ability users line. It took five minutes before it was Ji Ning, Zhu Shen, and Zhu Yin's group's turn. The guards at the gate asked their names, age, and their ability. When Zhu Yin said that she had a fire and space ability, the guards were amazed. They told the group that so far, they haven't seen one space user. Zhu Yin was the first. And when Zhu Yin told them how big her space was, the guards were frozen with their mouths open. Zhu Yin knew that space users were rare. In danger, the user themselves could hide in their space for days. And all space ability users had very big space.

Su Ting thought which line she should enter, and in the end decided to go on the ability users line. Now Ji Ning would have nothing to do with her, so Su Ting had to find someone to protect her. And she knew her ability was rare, so she would be protected by the higher ups in the military base. She registered herself, and as expected, a guard called someone from the higher ups to tell them about her. Soon someone came to get her. Su Ting looked at Ji Ning's group, and looked smugly at them. Everyone just ignored her disgusting behavior, but Zhu Yin smirked thinking about what was going to happen next.

Su Ting thought that she would live a good life, but once the researchers from the base realized the importance of her ability, then she would wish she ha died. Since everyone came as a group, they were housed on one floor. Zhu Shen and Zhu Yin were siblings, so they shared an apartment. The others also paired up to live in one apartment. Ji Ning's group signed up as hunters, so they can go out and kill zombies. The abilities of the people will become stronger the more they use them. Since Zhu Yin also had a space ability, the military asked them to pair with the military soldiers to get supplies from warehouses outside and inside the city.

For the next couple of weeks, the groups routine have been to go out hunting and gathering supplies for five days, and rest for two days. In those two days, Zhu Yin would go around the base, to see if anyone had a similar ring like hers. But each time, she would return disappointed. Zhu Yin even started wondering if her lover followed her or not.

Currently, Zhu Yin was back in her apartment after an entire day searching. She felt really hopeless. Zhu Yin took a shower, and went to her room. When she passed by her brother's room, she saw that the door was opened. She looked inside, and saw that Zhu Shen wasn't there. She went inside to look around. She saw a box under her brother's pillow. Zhu Yin felt curious, and went to see what it was. She froze seeing what was inside. It was the same ring that she has been searching for. Zhu Yin couldn't believe her eyes. Why would this ring be here?

"What are you doing, Yin?" Zhu Yin jumped in surprise when she heard a voice speaking from behind. She turned around and Zhu Shen there. Zhu Yin decided the best way to know where this ring came from was to ask her brother. "Gege, where did you get this ring from?" Zhu Shen looked at the ring in her hand, and seemed to hesitate for a second. 'Should I tell Yin the truth? I think it's time that she knows.'

"Mother gave me that ring. Yin, sit down, I have to tell you something." Zhu Yin looked at him in confusion, but then she just sat down. Zhu Yin suddenly had an idea, but she didn't want to have hope until she heard what Zhu Shen had to say.

"Zhu Yin, there is something which I never told you before. The truth is...I'm not your real brother." Zhu Yin looked at him in surprise, but she still stayed quite. Zhu Shen seeing that Zhu Yin remained quite continued with the story, "I was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Zhu. They were trying to have a child, but always remain unsuccessful. In the end, they decided to adopt, and adopted me. I was one year old then. For five years, Mr. and Mrs. Zhu treated me like their own child. But then, Mrs. Zhu found out that she was pregnant. Everyone was happy with the joyous news. Everyone was anticipating your arrival, especially me. I was happy that I was going to have a younger sister. When it came time for your birth, an accident happened. Mr. and Mrs. Zhu had a car accident when they were going to the hospital. Mr. Zhu died on impact, and Mrs. Zhu died giving birth to you in the hospital. Before Mother Zhu could die, she gave these two rings. One was for me and the other was yours. I made a necklace of the ring, and put it on your neck. You always had the ring with you. It was the least memory of our mother. I was waiting until you were old enough to tell you everything. And now was the right time to tell you."

Zhu Yin listened to everything, and just stayed silent after hearing the story. With this story, Zhu Yin could confirm that her lover was Zhu Shen. Zhu Yin couldn't believe that her lover was right next to her, but she she was looking everywhere else. Zhu Yin smiled, and knew that it was time to finally have her lover back.

"Zhu Shen, I'm glad your not my blood-related brother." Zhu Shen was surprised hearing that. He felt sad thinking that Zhu Yin didn't want him anywhere. Zhu Shen couldn't handle the thought of leaving Zhu Yin. He felt pain in his heart just thinking about it. He was about to get up and go, when Zhu Yin continued speaking, "Do you know why? Because since a few years ago, my feelings for you have changed. I don't love you like a brother anymore, but I love you as a man. I want you to be mine." Zhu Yin moved towards him, until she was close enough to touch his lips. Zhu Shen froze hearing what Zhu Yin said. Zhu Shen wasn't a fool, and knew what Zhu Yin was saying. And he realized that he didn't dislike the thought of making Zhu Yin his. He felt a kind of possessiveness, and need that he never felt before.

"I love you, Zhu Shen." And with that Zhu Yin connected her lips with Zhu Shen's. She nibbled on his lips, and licked his lower lips. Zhu Shen's eyes darkened, and he grabbed the back of her head to deepen the kiss. Zhu Shen was clear about his feelings, and knew that he wanted her too. They kissed for a few minutes. Zhu Yin slowly took off Zhu Shen's clothes, and touched him on his chest. Zhu Shen grabbed her breast and squeezed them. Zhu Yin moaned in his mouth. Soon her clothes also came off. They both were sitting naked in front of each other on the bed.

They soon continued kissing each other. Zhu Shen laid her down and kissed down her body. He left kiss marks everywhere, on her neck, collar, breast, stomach, and her inner thighs. Zhu Shen teases her for a while before slowly entering her body. They both move together. They kiss and moan each others name every time they come. They continue with this activity until morning. For the rest of the day, Zhu Shen and Yin spend their time together. Ji Ning saw them kissing, and realized that their relationship changed from siblings to lovers. He also wished to have someone to love. Su Ting was with the researchers, being experimented on.

For the rest of the life time, Zhu Shen and Zhu Yin spend it together. The humans made big progress against the zombies. By the 12th year of the apocalypse, the researchers finally created a cure, but the person who helped the most with creating a cure, Su Ting, died in the process. After that humanity, slowly build their society again. The abilities were hereditary and passed down from children to children. In this life, Zhu Shen and Zhu Yin had one child, Zhu Yan. Zhu Yin lived for 50 years in that life.

After going back to the system space, Xulia was happy about one thing the most. That her lover would follow her to different worlds. Little Dumpling welcomed his host excitedly.
