Ten months later

I don't how this time passed in such a hurry. I thought ten months is a long time but no it was not. It seems like it was yesterday when I heared my parents talking.

Flashback

"he will definitely............... ", papa said and I was shocked.

I came out and saw both my parents gaze fixed on me.

"I will not marry him",I told my decision to them.

"and who are you to decide here. You are too young to take such kinds of decisions. ", Ma said.

"Exactly that's the point here I am too young", I said.

"They will take care of you like us only",papa tried to make me understand.

"but ", I was saying when mamma interuptrd me.

"No buts you are marrying Rehan that's the final decision", she announced.

"You are not doing right mamma", I told her.

"I know what I am doing and one day you will understand this. ", she said leaving no space for argument.

"I will not marry him", I said more like cried.

"if you didn't you will see me dead" she said and I was shocked.

Papa was looking at her with widen eyes.

"What are you talking about. You are definitely acting crazy", papa said.

"I know what I am doing", she said and this made my father silent.

"Mamma even if I married him I wouldn't stay happy. I would always be forced to him. What would I do if he cheated on me after marriage? If you take the guarantee I would not have anything to say. ", I told my mother.

"He will not. I guarantee you", she said.

"I don't have any problem than. But remember one thing this would be the first time when a mother would be responsible for destroying her own child and forcing her to live a suffocating life. ", I said and the next moment regretted when saw a tear falling from her eyes.

"Shreya",peppy shouted.

"no not today papa. You all are forcing me to do something I hate. Not only mamma but you as well what am I to you a toy? Or a friendship gift to your friend. Oh God! I don't even want your answer. You know what I will do whatever you ask to repay half of your debt. ", I told him.

"Which debt you are talking about? ", he asked me his voice slightly shaking.

"I can't repay your all debt. The debt of taking care of me from the starting till today. But if it cost this you don't have to do it. ", I said.

"Shreya you are crossing your limits. You are our only child why would we think wrong for you. ", mamma said.

"For the first time in my life I am happy that I am not having any sibling otherwise he would have to see this face of yours but still I will never stop loving you mamma papa. You were are and will always remain a power couple for me and the best parents for me. ", I said and without hearing what they said next left the room.

I cried a lot that night.

Today is my engagement and I would be officially his.
