Its the end of the week and we're supposed to head back home but i dont think i can. I dont wanna leave grandma.

Yeah shes okay but i know her. once we leave she'll get all lonely and sad and then she wont be doing good.

"you all packed" ethan says coming in the room.

"ethan" i say finishing fixing the bed then sitting down.

"what. whats wrong" he says coming over to me.

"I think im gonna stay here a little longer" i say looking down.

"ally shes-"

"no seriously...im gonna stay. I cant leave her yet" I say looking back up at him. He sighs.

"okay, well stay" he says.

"no, ill stay. You go" i say.

"but i-"

"ethan babe. Go home. Take care of things there. Ill be fine" i say.

"allison im staying with you" he says.

"whats going on in here" grandma says coming in.

"grandma im gonna stay a little longer with you" i say. She smiles and walks over to me.

"oh hon. go home. Everybody needs you there. Ill be fine" she says grabbing my hands.

"grandma" i say looking at her.

"gooo...you have a mom to go back to and a boyfriend to be with" she says winking at ethan. Ethan giggles.

"i can help with grandpas stuff and help clean and"

"allison honey. go home. Ill be fine here" she says smiling.

"are you sure" i say.

"yes...you have a life to live. you dont need to be here with me" she says smiling.

"come on. ill drive yall to the airport" she says walking out. I give a light smile and we go to the car.

"shell be fine" ethan says rubbing my back. I knod and we head to the airport.

2 months later*

"allison are you ready yet?" ethan asks.

"yeah" i say walking down the stairs.

Me and ethan moved into together and life is really good. Weve been better than ever and life with him. Its just amazing.

were going on a date tonight. Its our 3 year anniversary. Im so excited. Going out with him just us too having a nice time.

"that was amazing" i say getting up as we leave the place we ate at.

"thank you" i say grabbing his hand as we walk out.

"anytime" he says kissing my cheek.

He stops and turns me around.

"so i know we talked about not getting engaged yet because were still young but" he says.

"ethan-"

"just wait" he says smiling.

He grabs a box and opens it and theres a ring but not an engagement ring. A promise ring.

"Im giving you this promise ring because I want us to eventually get married. Get engaged. Have kids"

"I want you to promise me that we will do thoes things. That i will be able to wake up every morning to see you right next to me. That every night ill be able to sleep next to you. That ill be able to watch you walk down the aisle in your gorgeous dress. That we'll have two kids and love them endlessly together. That we will be successful and help eachother grow as human beings. I want you to promise me that no matter how hard it gets we never give up. I want you to promise me that you will always be mine" he says smiling.

"I promise" i say tearing up. A big smile grows across his face as he slips the ring on my finger.

"I love you so much" i say hugging him.

"I love you too" he says squeezing me tight.

I get to spend the rest of my life with him. I get to all thoes things. I got out of something toxic and went to something better. Something that i never thought would happen again.

Im with the love of my life. The one i wanna be with. The one that will always be there with me.

The one thats been there with me since the 7th grade and ill never loose him.

Hes my happiness. My world.
