Frozen.
We were stood frozen. I knew nothing about this woman and here she was inviting me into her home. Now I knew very little about their family but from what I knew about Draco and the look on Lucius' face I could tell this wasn't normal behaviour for them.
"We should go.." her face looked saddened which confused me even more. What on Earth was going on, I felt like I was in the middle of something but had absolutely no idea what was going on.
"Yes I think so too, Draco let's go" Lucius turned on his heel and began strutting down the corridor. Narcissa took a couple steps following him before turning around and looking at me one more time before disappearing around the corner along with her husband.
I turned slowly around to Draco with clear confusion sprawled across my face.
"I mean are you going to explain to what just happened?" Draco's eyes were wide and unsettled.
"I...I have no idea. My mother is one of the coldest people I've met except for my father of course. I'm..im so sorry she was so forward...she takes no interest in anyone! Especially any friends of mine I mean god I think she's exchanged two words with Crabbe and Goyle. I really I don't..what's with her..I'm sorry again."
"Draco you don't have to apologise! It's fine." I reached up to place my hand on his cheek, as soon as I had the smile I loved was back. He reached up with his hand and placed it on top of mine.
"Well I need to go. Be good and try not to miss me too much." He winked at me before moving my hand off him and quickly pulling me in from behind my neck. I let out a small chuckle before he placed his lips on me swiftly, his kiss was soft yet with so much passion. Just as his tongue came close to invading my mouth a loud bellow came from the end of the hall.

"DRACO! NOW!" Draco never looked in Lucius' direction he kept his eyes on me. He smiled gently and stroked his thumb along my cheek to my chin as if his father wasn't glaring at us.
"I'll see you very soon. Merry Christmas Ivy." He dropped his hand back down to his pocket and made his way up the corridor, he turned around the corner without so much as a look to his father.
I watched as his father stared at me, his face slightly screwed. That was not a nice man. That was a dangerous man with wickedness in his eyes. Draco was right, however Draco could be he didn't have that look in his eyes. He could sometimes be cold and distant but never like that..evil.
He turned around and walked away. The realisation of not seeing Draco sunk into my chest. The thought of not seeing his face or even his mischievous grin sent a pain into my core.
I took a deep breath and began my journey up to my room. Narcissa's voice rattled around my head, why on Earth would she react like that with me? Like she knew me? I had never seen her before in my life. Even though most people would take it as a good thing that the parent of the boy you like didn't hate you there was something very unsettling about her reaction to me. Something that just felt odd..
All I wanted to do was tell Pansy what had just happened but something told me that I shouldn't, something just felt off about it and I didn't want her to say something that would worry me even more.
"Right we are going in 15 minutes so quickly pack and if you forget anything it's ok we'll sort it." I was greeted by Pansy in a mountain of clothes, her hair was up loosely in a very messy bun, her cheeks red from running around and I wasn't sure if she was aware but her top was both inside out and wrong way round.

"Are you ok?" I laughed as I spoke.
"No. Now hurry up."

My time at Pansy's flew, I hadn't laughed so much in what felt like forever. She was right though, they hardly noticed me there. I mean they were kind enough but seemed to have little interest in spending time with Pansy and of course me.
Her house was beautiful, old but grand and filled to the brim with art. I didn't ask many questions whilst I was there but clearly one of her parents loved it. There was a large display of portraits of her mother, she was just as pretty as Pansy and in the short amount of time I spent with her you could tell out of a line up that Pansy was her daughter.
We had got on the Hogwarts express which was an experience in itself, it was beautiful! I felt like I was in a whole other world and even though I went to a magic school something about the train felt extra magical.
Draco hadn't been on the train but Pansy told me that he would probably already be there when we arrived. My body was filled with nerves, not in a bad way but in a I think I may explode I'm so excited way. Being away from him only made me realise how much I cared for him and I really hoped that he felt the same. Even though Draco had told me how he felt there was something that still worried me that he might just have one of his mood changes or a sudden change of heart like his impulsive self. The side of Draco that I couldn't figure out, the one that was full of anger and hatred. The side of him I despised. The side of him I was scared that would break me.

Dear Sir, You are invited to be considered for the position of civil administrator at the distant frontier outpost of Fort Amalveor. You may have heard rumours about this region. While it is indeed beyond the borders of the Polity, I can reassure you that it is a very calm and ordered land, sparsely inhabited, and largely untroubled. Should you decide to pursue this opportunity, please write back with the utmost urgency! The position has already been vacant for some time, and a talented administrator is needed with haste. Yours faithfully, Jessaire Sev-ConteneSenior ClerkNorth Hill Waypost Sebastian Lewis has been offered an administrative position at a minor outpost in a relatively obscure frontier territory. It isn't a position he's particularly well qualified for, but it's also not something he can bring himself to pass up. Packing his spare clothes, his outdoor boots, and of course his stationery set, he begins his journey into the unknown. This is a fantasy story with mysery and horror elements, following a protagonist with no special powers.
