-From Joker's POV-

I was on my phone while Y/n was in the bathroom and then I heard shuffling at the table and flicked my eyes up quick. I could've sworn I saw Bones moving her drink around on the table. "The hell are you doing?" I ask him in a pointed tone. He jumps slightly at my questioning.

"I knocked it over with my hand and some spilled, I was cleaning it." my eyes go to the soaked napkin in his hand, meaning his story could be valid, but I don't like loose ends. I stand up and move over to the seat next to him and then lean over and slam my arm down on his shoulder.

"Bones, Bones, Bones. You know, your numbers have been impressive. You're efficient at business. So it would be a shame. No, a real.... tragedy. If you ever went missing. Hmmm?" I whisper out with a smile.

"And why would I go missing now?" he asks in a pointed tone.

"Well, if anyone were to hurt doll face, they would have to go missing." I explain. Bones laughs and then refocuses.

"Jealous, are we Mr.J?" he asks. My demeanor snaps in the blink of an eye.

"Joker. Only my friends call me that. And we, Bonesy, are not friends." I say, tightening my grip on his shoulder. I see him slightly wince and struggle under the pressure.

"And what does she call you again? I recall her saying something about 'clown-bastard'?" he says in a cocky tone. I tighten my grip further, feeling him start to become more uncomfortable as he lets out a small groan of discomfort.

"Mhmhm. And what do you call her again? Not on a first name basis, I see." I start laughing. "She slept with you and then left you high and dry. I haven't even made a move on her and we live together." I say with a laugh that angers him.

"You act like I don't notice the way you look at her. Wanting to put moves on her, trying to keep her to yourself, getting jealous. She chose me, me. The very first day we met, and she chose me. You've been roommates for what? A month? And she dismisses you and calls you clown bastard? You're nada." he says angrily. I chuckle and stand up and slam my hands down on his shoulders before lowering my lips to his ear-level.

"You want to drop this? Take a drink from her glass right now." I whisper before making my way to my seat. I watch as he hesitates and then raises the glass to his lips. I nod my head while smiling, encouraging him to continue. "Mhm. Go on. If nothing happens, hell, I'll kiss ya!" I laugh. He looks at me once more before taking a swig and sets the glass down. Just then, Y/n comes back from the bathroom and sits back in her seat.

"Sorry for the wait boys, ran into a familiar face in the bathroom that I had to- uh.... check in with and take care of." she explains. After that, I see a handful of workers rushing to the bathrooms and Y/n wipe a small splatter of blood off her chin, confirming what I thought. I just smile at her and then look at Bones.

"Mm. No worries. This is where we conduct business after all." I say. I watch as she reaches for he glass and I shake my head and tsk. "Please, get a new one." I say as I snap one finger and with the other hand, I reach across and grab her glass, preventing her from drinking it.

Oh doll. Not even Harley had me this protective.

-From Y/n's POV-

A waitress brings me over a new drink and takes the one that J had in is hand. I thank her and then take a sip. "Well, business is done, woohoo. I'm going to dance. I happen to like this song." i say, standing up from my seat. J listens for a moment and then smiles in amusement.

"I never took you to be a Lady Gaga fan." he says as Poker Face continues blaring.

"I didn't take you to be one either." I tease, drawing a chuckle from him. He looks over to Bones who is staring somewhere far off in the distance. His hand comes down on Bones' shoulder, causing him to jump.

"Don't be shy, go give her a dance. Huh?" he smiles deviously. Bones groggily stands up and I drag him out to the floor. The lights in the club are in strobe mode to this song, meaning I can see him on and off. A combination of the smooth business deal, the light buzz going on, the overall climate of the club, and the games both idiots were playing at the table had me in a good mood, so I reach my arms out to pull him closer to me so I could attach onto his neck, but he started stumbling. He stabilized himself just barely, and then started to stumble again. I just barely held him up long enough to notice how dilated his pupils were and how sweaty he was. I dragged him off the dance floor and threw him into a seat at the table where J was still sitting. He was fiddling with his rings and then looked at me with amused eyes at first, and then enraged ones.

"I have no idea what the hell happened to him." I say to J. He stands up and walks around to where I'm standing.

"You go enjoy your dance doll. He'll be taken care of." he says in a serious tone. I nod and then head back to the floor.

-From Joker's POV-

I could kill him right now. I should kill him right now. A clean one through the eyes. I had two workers drag him to the back of the club and I followed. I snapped my fingers and one of them brought me a glass of water and I threw it on his face, causing him to become slightly more aware. I waved the workers off, dismissing them to go back inside. I squat down to his level, where he's laying and rolling around on the ground. "I should put one in between your eyes right now you disgusting bastard." I growl at him. He lets out a groan.

"Fuck you, J." he scoffs. I reach down and punch him once. A clean hook that marks his cheekbone. He lets out a couple more groans of pain. I then stand up and start kicking. Kicking, kicking. I had continued beating him for about 10 minutes till he was rolling on the ground, mumbling through a blood filled mouth while he was holding on to stomach.

"You're lucky Y-." I almost say her name and then remember. "You're lucky she's your friend. Or I would've watched you bleed to death in the back of a night club. Next time, I will." I growl out before spitting and then leaving back to the club. I find Y/n and she smiles at me, calming me down. I walk out on to the floor where she is and expect her to be ready to leave, but instead she pulls me deeper into the crowd.

"Don't be a hard-ass! Dance with me!" she says, throwing her arms around my shoulders. The song playing wasn't quite a fast-pace dance song or a sensual slow song, it was somewhere in between. I just look down at her, watching, and trying to make out what's going on with her. Her eyes are open, just droopy and she's just barely smiling. She placed her forehead on my chest for a minute and I hoped she didn't hear the increase in my heart rate. She only rested it there for a second before looking up at me and rolling her eyes. "So??" she pressures, lightly kneeing me in the leg. She reaches up so she can have better access to my ear. "Acting like you weren't playing footsies under the table during the deal. Tsk. Before you tease a girl, at least give her a dance??" she pries out with a giggle. I let out a sigh and then give in, lightly wrapping my arms around her waist.

"This song and then we're going home" I say.

"Okay okay." she starts bobbing her head to whatever rhythm she hears. It's definitely not the one booming out of the speakers, but it's endearing. In the beginning, I find myself uncomfortable but then I keep watching her and I slowly get lost in my own gaze. My eyes are attached to her, she has my full attention. I was so distracted by her I didn't even notice when the song had ended. "Dumb dumb, let's gooo." she lightly shakes me. She starts pulling me by my arm again and I follow. She drags us outside to the car so I unlock it and get in.

"Where did Bones go?" she asks.

"He got sick so he went home." I say as I pull out the parking lot.

"Mmmm. He was being weird." she says. I nod my head in agreement.

"It's our turn now. We're going home, doll." I tell her.
