Daniel took the seat next to his teacher, quickly making himself comfortable. 'I prepared a bunch of playlists for this trip!'

The teacher tried scooting away from him, 'Is this a prank? Did he lose a game?'

Before he could put his headphones on,

"Danny!"

Daniel turned in his seat to look back at Zoe and (Y/N), who were sitting next to each other towards the back.

"What are you doing?" (Y/N) asked.

"We saved a seat!!" Doo explained, slapping the empty seat between him and Zack.

Daniel was shocked. 'There.. in the back.. a once out of reach seat... That I was now sitting in!!'

Five minutes into the ride, Zoe was already pouting.

"I'm bored." She huffed.

"That's tough." (Y/N) answered, content with looking out of the window.

Zoe sighed and tried to talk to Daniel again, but he was too deep in a conversation with Zack at the moment.

"Can I play games on your phone?"

"No."

"Whyyy? It's not like you're using it." Zoe whined.

"You have your own phone." (Y/N) argues.

"But I'm trying to save my battery, and I want to see what games you play."

"... Fine."

"Yay!!"

(Y/N) hesitantly handed Zoe her phone, the other girl gave her a beaming grin when the device was in her hand.

Zoe turned her back on (Y/N) and began swiping through her games. 'These are all boring... let's see who (Y/N)-ie texts with!'

Zoe began to scroll through (Y/N)'s contacts, 'She must have the number of that cute guy that she lives with, shall we FaceTime him?'

'What was his name again... Shuo?' She stopped by the contact name that was made completely of emojis.

'💘🥺💞👼🏻💖'

'This must be it. I didn't think (Y/N) would be the type to use a lot of emojis.'

Zoe clicked call as (Y/N) looked over her shoulder.

"That's not a game." She said plainly, reaching to snatch her phone back, but before she could the person on the other line answered.

On the beauty department bus, Eli tried to hide his phone screen from the two girls he was sitting in between.

"Eli?" Zoe asked in disbelief, staring at the boy on the other side of the screen. 'This is the guy (Y/N) has all of the emojis next to???'

"What? (Y/N)?" Eli asked. 'She usually never calls during school...' "Is everything okay?"

(Y/N) grabbed the phone and hung up, hoping that if she ignored her burning cheeks that Zoe would do the same.

"What's everybody else doing?" She asked quickly, redirecting her attention.

Zoe gave (Y/N) a confused look before returning her attention to the rest of the group.

"Oh! I love this game!"

The little gang was immersed in an intense game of slaps, and it was Zack's turn to hit the back of Mira's hands.

He paled as Mira looked up at him with big, nervous doe eyes.

The other guys were cheering him on.

"Get her back, Zack!"

"Finally, her turn!"

"She nailed me!"

'Oh no... Why do I have to go through this?!' Zack clenched his fists, 'It's just a game!'

He steeled himself, ready to hurt the love of his life even if only the slightest bit. But instead of lightly slapping the back of her hands, he stroked them.

'So soft...' Zack released a sigh and Mira wasn't sure of what to do. Neither was the rest of the group, who were in an awkward silence.

"Zack..." (Y/N) whispered, "Get it together, man."

Upon hearing that, Zack removed his hands and blushed while the rest of the group broke out into howling laughter.

Daniel was laughing and smiling too, but when he saw (Y/N)'s genuine gummy smile showing, his smile grew a bit wider.

After a couple of hours the buses made a pit stop, refilling on gas and allowing the students to stretch their legs.

(Y/N) was last off the bus because Zoe hadn't bothered to wake her from her nap. To say she was confused when she woke up on an empty bus was an understatement.

She stumbled out of the bus and looked around, confused. Thankfully, she saw a familiar figure standing at a vending machine.

"Jay!" She called, jogging over to where the blonde was standing.

The boy turned around and waved at her before pointing at the machine.

"Ah, no thanks. I'm good."

Jay nodded and got one bag of chips and a packet of M&M's, which he handed to (Y/N).

"Save them for later." (Y/N) tried to refuse again but Jay just nodded and walked away.

"Well, thanks I guess." She mumbled, tearing open the packet and snacking on the candies while she tried to find the rest of the group.

She heard angry yelling and immediately followed the sound. Zack always found a way to start beef.

She watched his and Vin Jin's glare down, thoroughly entertained.

"So, you two gonna measure dicks anytime soon or what?" She asked, leaning against a retro game machine.

Zack looked away from Vin Jin to give (Y/N) a disgusted look.

"You're gross."

(Y/N) only shrugged with a mischievous grin.

Later on, Zack and Vin Jin met again in the men's bathroom. Zack was ready to take the urinal next to Vin Jin to assert his dominance, but remembered (Y/N)'s comment from earlier and decided not to.

Nearly everybody on the bus napped for the rest of the ride, except for Jay and (Y/N) who had already slept for the first part.

The two decided to move to another empty seat to sit next to each other for the rest of the ride.

(Y/N) was attempting to entertain herself by seeing how many pieces of Jay's popcorn she could throw into their snoring teacher's mouth. She only stopped when Jay offered an expensive headphone and played some music for the two of them.

(Y/N) ended up falling asleep again with her head against the window. Jay frowned and gently nudged her head so that it would rest on her shoulder and her brain wouldn't get rattled every time the bus went over a bump.

When they finally arrived, everybody on the fashion department was stretching and yawning as they disembarked.
