Woojin gulped as he watched the Burn Knuckle members pick off his men one by one.
'...What is this? We're no match for them!' He looked to Vasco, who was silently watching the chaos. 'I didn't even care about him... He was the leader of the burn Knuckles?!'
"Jace, how did you know I was here?" Vasco asked.
"That's friendship! By now we communicate with telepathy." Jace answered proudly. 'I'm sorry! I secretly downloaded a tracking app on your phone!'
"Ah, I knew it!" Vasco said excitedly. "But you all didn't need to come..."
"What do you mean, Vasco?! We're friends, that's sad!" One of the members protested. 'I hate planting seeds!'
'There's no point!'
'I hate planting durian seeds!'
'This is more exciting!'
While Vasco was distracted with the heart touching moment, the big guy with dyed blonde hair took the chance to come up behind him. He grabbed both of Vasco's shoulders.
"Gotcha!! It's all over for you now! Tell them to stop or I'll crush your shoulders." The big guy demanded. However, his confidence dropped when Vasco gripped his wrists and moved his hands away from his shoulders.
'So strong! No way! He's a monster!'
"Shoulder?" Vasco repeated, turning his head to look at the guy behind him. He spun around and grabbed the other guy's shoulder.
"Don't mess around." He scoffed and squeezed the his shoulder, brining him to his knees.
'There it is! The shoulder grab!'
'That's a killer!'
Woojin watched with wide eyes. 'No way! He beat him in strength. Even all the sophomores are down and out! Who are these freshmen punks?'

Elsewhere, Jay was sitting in an alley, leaning against his motorcycle as he smoked a cigarette.
Earlier, he had seen a group of guys rallying up, preparing to meet up with some guy called 'Woojin'. Apparently a ton of guys were going to this meetup.
They were probably up to no good... right? Jay had no choice but to intervene.
So now he sat in an alley, looking out at his handiwork. At least a dozen of guys were sprawled on the ground, groaning and bruised.
Jay puffed another cloud.
"Woah, what happened?" A new voice asked.
"Did you do all of this? You're somethin else." A man with black hair said, leaning over Jay's bike to get a better look at the scene.
Jay flinched and jumped up, ready to fight again.
Seeing his defensive position, the stranger frowned. "Hey, Hey. It's fine. Don't worry."
The guy's friend urged him to walk away and he followed.

"Those guys bug us every day- I'm sick of them." He said over his shoulder with a smile so big it made his eyes shut. Then one of his eyes peaked open.
"And hey, you shouldn't smoke. If you quit smoking, you'll get a lover! Me and him both quit and we both met someone!" He said encouragingly.
The two finally walked away and Jay was left in silence. After a few moments, his cigarette fell from between his lips and hit the pavement.
He fumbled with his bag to put his lighter back in it and his fingers brushed over his keychain. A small brown bear.

While everybody was still recovering from the shock of Vasco easily taking a huge guy down with just a squeeze of the shoulder, Woojin took the opportunity to walk towards (Y/N).
'She's an easy target... I'll show them that I'm not afraid to hit anybody, even girls. That'll show them I'm a beast.' He thought excitedly.
(Y/N) was conveniently standing a good distance away from the rest of the group when she had become Woojin's prey.
"Darling, What is all of this?" He asked, earning her attention.
She gave him her usual blank look. "A message." She said plainly.
"Not that... You know what I'm talking about." He hissed, growing closer with every word.
(Y/N) cocked her head to the side, confused.
"I thought you were different, you know. Then you come and show up with four other guys." He growled. With every step he took forward, (Y/N) took one back. Eventually (Y/N) was trapped between Woojin and a crowd of trashcans.
When he heard the sound of (Y/N) accidentally kicking a trashcan back, Zack's head snapped towards the disturbance.
"What the hell?" He snapped, gaining the others' attention. The rest looked over, and while Daniel and Vasco's faces steeled, Huo smirked.
"Would he really stoop to low to hit a girl?" Daniel asked, his eye twitching with annoyance.
"He needs to be taught a lesson." Vasco said, getting ready to step forward to defend (Y/N). He frowned when Huo stuck out his hand to stop him.
"(Y/N) can't fight for shit, b-" Huo started, but was quickly interrupted by Zack.
"If she can't fight for shit then why the fuck are we just sitting here?" He hissed.
Huo rolled his eyes. "Let me reiterate. (Y/N) can't fight hand to hand for shit, her thing is improvised weaponry." He explained.
Zack and Daniel gave him unsure looks while Vasco was still watching Woojin corner (Y/N).
"Trust me, you're going to want to see this." Huo reassured. Finally, a chance for his friend to prove that she wasn't some damsel in distress!

Vasco hesitantly stepped back. 'He has a kind voice. I'll trust him.'
Zack glared, but listened. Daniel was watching anxiously, not too happy about not helping his friend out.
'It feels wrong to just leave her to her own devices, if that was me in her position she'd step in...'
"What are you, some slut? Huh?" Woojin snarled, his face coming closer to (Y/N)'s.
(Y/N) put a hand on the lid of the trashcan behind her to support herself as she leaned away from Woojin. Seriously, when was the last time this guy brushed his teeth?
"Your little standoffish attitude isn't cute, you know. Who do you think you are? Acting all high and mighty." He lifted his fist, ready to strike. "I'll show you your damn place."
(Y/N)'s fingers wrapped her finger's around the lid's handle as Woojin began to swing.
Before his fist could hit her face, a loud resonated in the alley.
Next there was the dull thud of Woojin's body crumbling to the ground.
Vasco stared, looking disturbed. Zack and Daniel's jaws dropped and Huo wore a giddy grin.
(Y/N) stood over Woojin's body and stared down at him. Her face was void of emotion as she watched him writhe.
"My nose! You broke my fucking nose! You crazy bitch!" He shrieked, his hand cupping his nose as blood leaked through his fingers.
"I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you! And your stupid fucking-"
Before he could finish his threat, the trash can lid crashed into his face again, cracking at least a couple of his teeth.
"You keep on saying this and that." (Y/N) started and she moved to crouch over Woojin, her face closer to his.
"But who's on the ground, and Who's. Fucking. Not."
She lifted her makeshift weapon to hit him again, but somebody caught her wrist. (Y/N)'s head whipped to see who touched her, ready to teach them a lesson too.
But her eyes slightly widened when she saw Woojin's girlfriend holding her wrist, fat tears running down her cheeks.
"Please! Stop! We've learned our lesson!" She sobbed. "He's down! You got him!"
It was like (Y/N) was broken out of a trance when she saw the other girl crying.
(Y/N) dropped the trash can lid, no longer able to control her hands which were stained with blood that wasn't hers.
Her eyes were still wide when she looked at Daniel, who looked horrified. Next they flashed to Zack, who looked disgusted. Finally, she looked at Vasco, who was still trying to process what the hell just happened.
'Why does she look... scared?'
Sirens began to wail in the distance.
"Shit, who called the cops?" Huo hissed, the only one who wasn't affected by (Y/N)'s actions. He turned to glare at the entrance of the alley, where Mira, Yui and Namsoo stood.
Namsoo dropped his phone out of fear when Huo narrowed his eyes at him.
"(Y/N), you've gotta handle this." Huo sighed as he looked at the girl who was still staring at her other friends. When he saw her fearful expression his eyes softened. "(Y/N)..."
The girl shook her head trying shake off the horrible feeling of knowing that her friends just saw her doing... that.
"I've got it." She said. She squeezed her eyes shut and took in a deep breath, slowly exhaling.
A car door slammed on the sidewalk in front of the alley, and an officer exited the vehicle.
(Y/N) huffed one last time before her eyes brimmed with crocodile tears.
"Oh, Officer!" She shouted tearfully, running to the policeman and throwing her arms around him, hiding her face in his chest. "Thank goodness you're here! I was so afraid."
'Huh?' Daniel thought, 'Are her moods really changing so quickly? Is she in shock? Is (Y/N) okay?'
"What the hell?" Zack mumbled.
The officer stiffly patted her back, his cheeks dusting with pink before he awkwardly coughed. When he looked up he paled when saw the state that the alley was in.
"Miss... What happened here?" The Officer asked.
"I-I was out with friends, and we came across these gangsters fighting each other, t-then they started to try and fight my friends too!"
The officer looked to the boys, who all looked confused except for Huo, who nodded.
"I just wanna go home..." (Y/N) sniffled, looking up at the officer with watery puppy eyes.
"Alright." He sighed. "You guys all get home right away. I'll handle it from here."
(Y/N) nodded and made her way out of the alley, everybody following after her. Huo came up to her side and slapped her on the back.
"That was great!" He whisper shouted.
(Y/N) ignored him and delicately wiped the tears away from her eyes and off of her cheeks.
"Ah, how embarrassing." She sighed.
She did everything in her power to not look at Daniel, Vasco and Zack, who were all staring at her.
Her shoulders tensed and she her jaw clenched. "Let's go home already. I need a nap."
Daniel was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her eyes when she turned to walk to Huo's car.
'(Y/N), why do you look so sad?'

A Fate Set in Stone (On Hold)
After dying and making his way into the afterlife, our protagonist happens to have a stroke of good luck. With the help of the substitute god of death, he's given a second shot at life in a world run by gods who probably played too many video games as kids. Monsters, magic, dungeons, bandits, and all that good stuff is there, except it turns out to be much different than Jed initially expected.(I picked some generic tags since this is my first story and I am not 100% sure where it is going to go. Mature warning is only there for some less-than-polite language.)
