At the restaurant, you and the boys were eating. It was mostly silent, but every so often there was small chatters amongst you three. After almost on the verge of tears, you needed something like this.
"Is anyone interested in seeing the T-Rex?" You asked after finishing your food.
"Oh, I am!" Gray beamed.
Zach and Gray finally finished their meal and you all paid the bill. You left the restaurant and then went outside. As you noticed the T-Rex building, Gray got excited again. He cheered and then ushered you inside. The building was packed with people when you arrived. Apparently, it was time for the T-Rex feeding and everyone wanted to see her eat the goat. The crowd chanted while Gray squirmed in to get a better look. You tried to follow, but you heard Zach's phone ring.
"Hello," Zach answered his phone. "Yeah, everything is fine. We're at the T-Rex area. Aunt Claire gave us tickets. No, she isn't here. Okay, bye."
"Who was that?" You asked him after the conversation ended.
"It was my Mom." He explained.
"Oh." You said, staring back at the window. You heard crunching noises while people were grossed out.
"Aunt Claire was supposed to be here." He explained, "To spend time with us."
"And, she didn't show?" You asked despite knowing the answer.
"Nope." Zach replied, popping the P. "Zara took her place."
"And then we ditched her." You added.
"Well, she didn't seem too bothered." He shrugged, "If she were then she'd be looking for us by now."
"Well, I sure hope you don't ditch me." You stated jokingly. "Cause that would suck."
"Honestly," Zach began, gazing at you. "You're like the only good thing about this trip."

Your eyes widened, realizing what he just said. Looking away, you couldn't help but smile and feel flattered. The moment was gone when you found yourself looking at the crowd. Everyone dispersed and you saw Gray walk out. He was in awe of what he saw.
"Did ya have fun?" You questioned.
"Yeah," Gray sighed happily. "The T-Rex ate the goat. It was so cool."
"Nice." You smiled, "I wish I got to see that."
"Well, the T-Rex is still there." He said, "There's no goat, but at least the place is empty."
You and Zach then went closer towards the window. There you saw the T-Rex idle in her spot. Her eyes observed the area until she stared directly at you.
"That thing is watching you." Zach pointed out. There was a slight concern in his tone.
"I wish a T-Rex stared at me like that," Gray commented.
You watched as she came closer. Her snout touched the glass, causing it to fog up. The air cleared as she turned her head to the side. You saw her amber-coloured eye gaze at you intensely. Eventually, she gave a small huff before leaving the windows.
"Hey, guys," Gray breathed out. "Let's go to the Mosasaurus Show next."
"Huh!?" You flinched out of the immersion. "Do we have to go there?"
"Why?" Zach questioned, "You don't like sea creatures?"
"I don't like water." You clarified, "And, I don't like getting overly wet either."
"Well, you can have my hoodie." He suggested, sounding flustered. "I mean if you want to."

And that's how you were convinced into seeing the Mosasaurus Show. You and the boys decided to sit near the front row. As the lady was talking, you stared at the other tourists. Most of them were wearing raincoats while others were not. You then adjusted Zach's hoodie for the seventeenth time. His scent immediately filled up your nostrils. There was a hint of sweat with a mix of lavender-scented soap. It smelled really nice.

"Zach! Zach! Look!" Gray shook Zach's arm. You flinched seeing the dead shark on the wire. The Mosasaurus lifted her head up before grabbing the carcass. She then let gravity take over while splashing everyone.
"Ugh!" You grumbled. Despite having the hoodie on you still got soaked. "Thanks for the fucking shower man."
You then heard Zach's laugh fill up your ears as you gazed at him. It wasn't for anything malicious. He just seemed genuinely happy. You couldn't help but grin back.
"OH MY GOD!" Gray cheered, "That was so awesome!"
As the audience clapped, the seats started to descend downwards.
"Hold on tight." The lady said, "We're gonna give you an even closer look at our Mosasaurus."
You reached the bottom and then saw the Mosasaurus take another bite. The crowd cheered even more.
"It has 88 teeth," Gray noted while snapping photos.
"Okay," You smirked, "That was pretty cool."
"But, you got wet." Zach smiled.
"I still hate that part," You cringed slightly. "But, it was kinda worth it."
