"Today we are joined with the one of the hottest celebrities in Korea, trending all over the world right now. Give up for everyones favorite, the talented, sexy, and beautiful soul Normani Kordei!" The excited woman on the microphone says as we sat in front of a camera.

This was the very first interview I was having since the news of RM and I dating got out.

"hey" I say looking at the camera and speaking into the mic.

"I have to say I knew you were gorgeous, but now that I see you in person it's like your a goddess. I mean look at how pretty she is. She's like a goddess. A melanin queen" the spokeswoman says giving me compliments causing me to smile.

"Stop it" I say letting out a slight but cute laugh.

"No. But seriously you are. So pretty" she says.

"Thank you. So are you" I compliment her back knowing it was sort of the right thing to do.

"So Normani... how are you? You recently been in the spotlight for the past couple of weeks. From releasing your long awaited and highly anticipated debut album "Black Woman". To finding out that not only are you doing another film that is starring an EXO member but it's also premiering in the movies. Also to confirming your relationship with BTS leader RM" she says causing me to nod as I listened to her.

Of course she'd slip that last one in.

"It's been pretty insane" I say honestly before letting out a laugh which caused her to smile.

"It still sometimes doesn't feel real you know. Like it's unbelievable I'm doing something that for a long I couldn't even dream of doing if that makes sense. But overall I've been great" I explain myself causing her to nod.

"So is there any advice you like to give to artists who are working up to be in this music industry, any advice you'd give them?" She asked.

I nod bringing the mic to my lips.

"there are so many people you are going to meet. So many places you are yet to go. The good times are coming. Of course there will be some rough patches too but the sunshine when it comes. You are so so important, so please keep fighting" I say seriously wishing I was talking to my younger self.

I came into Korea thinking this was going to fine. All I had to do was work my ass off and that's it. Wrong.

This world is so evilly insane it makes no sense.

But nothing will ever bring me out my character.

"Let's talk about your album.. what was it like in the studio. How can you relate most to the lyrics you wrote?" She asked.

Finally a work related question. I already knew questions about RM and I would pop up, I just didn't expect it to be like this.

"You know... whatever I felt whenever I was going through something, I'd write it down. For my album I not only wanted to express myself, but I wanted others to relate to my music" I explain to her.

She nods. She then turns to the camera, "if you haven't by the way go listen, download, stream and love the hell out of "Black Woman"" she told the camera causing me to smile.

"So your new film "Unexpected Love" What was it like finding out that your were the love interest of Lay from EXO, who has been in many other films?" She asked me.

"Exactly I knew of Lay before we even found out that we were working together on this project. I met a couple of his members and I always see them perform at award shows. They're amazing. He's amazing" I explain professional ignoring the whole love interest part.

Don't need anymore rumors spreading.

"Those of you who don't know.. Normani starred in a Netflix Romantic Film with Jay Park a couple months ago. So my question for you is how does it feel? You know from filming just a Small Netflix film and then to finding out your filming an actual movie, that will be in movie theaters?" She asks.

I nod continuously.

"You know the feeling is the same. It's still unbelievable. I didn't even think that I'd be in a Netflix film, let alone an actual film. But it's amazing honestly. And I'm surrounded by such positive and caring people that this isn't just a project or something business related for me. It's something I want to put my heart and soul into if that makes sense" I explain the best way I can.

"Before we get into the new album... I just thought that you should now that you are now nominated for New Artist Of The Year for this years Gaon Chart Music Awards", she says smiling ear from causing my mouth to drop in shock.

"What?" I asked her as a set member came onto the camera handing me a envelope with words "Nominated" printed outside of it.

I couldn't help but smile ear from ear as well.

"This is amazing" I say.

"Not only did you get nominated but you happen to be the the only African American Artist In A Group In History to sell over 11 million copies worldwide for your debut" she says causing me to look my manager.

This was all to good to be true.

"What?" I asked her.

This was all unbelievable.

"How does it feel? 11 million copies sold, 1.5 billion streams worldwide. Two #1 songs on almost every music chart in the world?" She asked me.

"I can't breathe" I explained causing her to laugh.

"So BTS's album dropped this morning? You have the comeback stage in a couple of day. Anything you want to say? Like how was the process. With writing, and actually being apart of the songs?" She asked.

"Uh— the boys and I worked so hard on this album. I think the one thing that I brought for this album was love. I wanted to bring something different to the table. All of the other albums had songs about finding love within yourself, and loving yourself. But I wanted to send a message that loving yourself is just a possible as loving anyone else" I explain causing her to smile.

"And how was it like having another girl.. Halsey on one of the songs after performing with the boys for so long?" She asked.

"The experience overall was fun. We all had a good time. Halsey and I are actually good friends. Her and I met at one of the award shows backstage back when I was still apart of fifth harmony. I've known her for some time now but recording and like filming the music video with her was great. You know she's such a sweet and caring person. I mean how can you not love her" I say speaking only good things of her.

"So how would you feel if I told you that the single "Boy With Luv Ft Halsey" is number one in 78 countries including The US, U.K, and South Korea?" She asked smiling ear from ear causing my eyes to widen.

I turned looking over to my assistant manager. Who when Brandon wasn't here is. She smiled nodding her head letting me know that what the interviewer was telling me was true.

My mouth opened.

"Really?" I asked her.

"Yeah"

"Shut up" I say laughing before covering my mouth. I was excited but not only for me but for the boys. They deserved this so much.

"No. You shut up" she says laughing at my expression, how I was so excited. I mean I know our album would do well, but I didn't know it would as soon as it released.

"That's amazing" I say trying to control my excitement.

"So my next and final question is something the fans including myself have been wondering since the news came out" she pauses and just like that a perfectly great interview ruined by a question about my love life that was no longer personal.

I tried my best to hide the expression on my face from the camera but the more and more I think about RM just makes me miss him even more.

"What was it like seeing the viral video of you and Rap Monster kissing in the elevator?" She asked wanting a direct, no cutting around the bush answer.

I nod in understanding realizing that i needed to address this. Ever since people found out the only thing BigHit did was confirm. We didn't say anything on the subject.

"The pair have spent countless amounts of time with each other and thus starting the beginning of a new different love" as the BigHit statement puts it.

I look at my manager who nods at me motioning that it was okay for me to answer her questions honestly.

I let out a deep breath.

"It was weird but it felt like something was lifted of my chest if that made sense. You know I think we both had feelings for each other for a long while. But only a couple of people knew that. So... it was kind of weird when I turned on the television to see us... in the video" I pause explaining opening up and telling it all.

Even though it's our business people deserved to know. The truth, what went on, what didn't.

"i mean for the longest we've always kept things professional, and always wanted to think of what this would do for the members, for our fans and what others might think... and for just a slight moment it wasn't about them or what people thought of us.. it was just about us. And I feel like the news of our relationship coming out that way was important because if that video didn't get out, I'm positive we would've still been dating secretly" I tell truthfully causing her to nod.

It was weird. I never liked talking about my personal issues or whatever I was going through because being a celebrity that's the only thing you can call yours. Your private life.

When your famous everyone knows everything about you. So to have something that you can hold and cherish without any judgment or unwanted opinions, it's the best feeling ever.

"When BigHit confirmed your relationship with RapMon. It brought up some questions about whether him and lisa were ever together or their relationship being a cover up... or you breaking them up. What was that like?" She asked wanting to know more information.

I didn't break nothing up. In order for me to break them up, they'd have to be in a real relationship for that to happen.

She's is delusional hoe that loves to play victim for the public. That's why my favorite rapper in that group has always been Jennie.

"Are you asking if RM and Lisa were together to cover up or hide the fact that him and I actually were?" I asked trying to understand the question more and no make myself look dumb.

She nods.

"No. NamJoon and Lisa were actually together. I think it's a... a growing in life were people fall in love and also out of it. And think that's what happened to them"

"Well you heard it best.. Thank you Normani for coming out today for this interview. If you guys don't know yet... I smiled, as the camera recording light was no longer on. I placed down the mic standing up as she approached me.

"It was so nice to meet you. I would love to see you again. Next time bring the boys" she smiled ear to ear.

I laugh at her obnoxious comment.

I just wanted to go home now
