Today was our last day in America meaning tomorrow we'd have to go straight back to Korea for the MAMA's.

Instead of hiding in my room, or hanging out with the members of fifth harmony again, Joon convinced me to live a little and risk a little. So that now explains why we were gonna go out.

But only us two. Like on a date. But we know we can't do that and get away without anyone recognizing us. of course us being idols we had to hide our identity not wanting people to know that it was us.

You see well the boys went out site seeing together, Joon and I went all over the city.

We went downtown, to the movies, walking on the beach, we even at lunch together.

It felt so fun sneaking around and not trying to get caught.

Joon laughed continuously as what I was wearing. "I-I h-have to take a picture of this" he says to excited pulling out his phone and snapping a picture of me.

I wore the most ridiculous outfit ever, it was a carrot suit. He dared me to something and I failed to do it so this is my punishment.

"you better delete that" I tell him.

"Oh come on. A dares a dare" he smirks. I roll my eyes, "now smile for the camera and say "I'm a carrot" he says enjoying every single moment of this.

I forced a smile before saying, "I'm gonna kill you!" causing him to laugh once again. I quickly took the ridiculous outfit off, and throwing it at him causing him to laugh.

"Delete it" I tell him almost seriously.

"Make me" he jokes sticking out his tongue.

I then reach towards his phone as he grabs me by my waist pulling me closer to him causing me to smile ear to ear.

It's weird to think about Joon and I being boyfriend and girlfriend and doing boyfriend and girlfriend things like an actual couple.

For a moment I almost forgot about what we have to go back to tomorrow. I almost forgot that people like me don't get happy endings no matter how bad I want it.

People like Joon don't end up with people like me. However, I promised myself that I wasn't going to give up without a fight. Not for Joon.

He leans in to kiss me and before he could I stop him, looking around to let him know we were in public.

"What if someone catches us?" I ask him before.

"I told you already... I don't care" he tells me before smashing his lips into mine causing me to kiss back.

I smile as we parted.

I laughed uncontrollably as I sat on Joon's back as he carried me. "Don't you drop me" I say as he was pretending as if he wasn't about causing me to grip onto him more.

He and I spent the entire day together and honestly I couldn't have been more happier. Which had me thinking what If he and I actually went public.

What would happen? I mean how would our fans react, or how would people take it. I can imagine the headlines now.

The elevator door opened and Joon carried me out, "I wonder what the boys did all day without us?" I ask him.

"Probably go to the beach and in & out again" he jokes making both of us laugh. We both knew how obsessed they were with American food, but you guys didn't know how obsessed they were.

Our laughs quickly faded when we turned down the hallway to see Bang Si Hynk and Brandon standing there. Joon stood up straight causing me to jump off his back.

Now that I think about it we never really thought about something happening if we get caught.

Both Joon's and mine head as well dropped as both Brandon and Bang Si Hynk stood in front of us.

"It's almost a quarter past 12. Do you have idea how worried we were about you two?" Brandon asks me.

"This has to be one of the stupidest things you've ever done, NamJoon" Bang lectures him.

"What were you two even doing?" Brandon asks causing me to glance at him noticing Joon eyes were fixed on the ground.

"We just went out. We wanted to have a normal day. It was our last day in Cali" I tell them both.

"Normal? Sorry to break it to the both of you but neither of you are normal. Whose idea was it to even do that?" Brandon asked us.

Joon's but no one counting fingers.

"What's gotten into you, NamJoon?" Bang asks him. I don't think I've ever seen Joon like this. Maybe because Bang expects more from him.

"And you two had to go alone? You couldn't have gone with more members? What if people think your dating? We can't allow stupid rumors to interfere with your careers" Brandon tells us.

"We're sorry" I say honestly I didn't think this was that serious. I mean so what we went out. It's the least we should do. I mean BigHit overworks the shit out of the boys.

Going out to have a normal day without fans, cameras and social media shouldn't be used as a punishment.

"You guys broke curfew. And when that happens you guys get punished. Meaning the next event for BTS the two of you will not take part in" Bang Si Hynk says.

My face expression was unreadable.

"PD... it's the MAMA" Joon finally speaks.

"Oh I know. Don't worry. You can go, but you two will not be performing" he says.

This was unbelievable. I bet it wasn't even Bang who wanted to punish us, it mostly had to be my manager Brandon who always stuck his nose everyone else asses but his own.

The MAMA is something the boys have talked about for the longest, something they have practiced so hard for and now their leader can't even join them.

"Don't punish him. It was my idea to go out. Joon wanted to leave but I didn't. If anyone should perform it's me" I blurt out causing them all to look at me.

I eyed NamJoon who shook his head motioning me to stop whatever I was doing.

As much as he didn't want to lie to his boss, he knew he had too. "No. I didn't" he answers lowly causing Brandon to sigh deeply and look at me.

"So it's settled. Normani will be the only one not performing" Bang says, and I feel as if Joon's eyes were glued on mine because they hadn't left since the words escaped my mouth.
