I wake up and turn to my side in search of my lover and find a cold empty space. I immediately feel panicked and hope I did not imagine yesterday. "Of course not," I chant to myself, yet I still rush downstairs in search of a missing Kookie. I slept later than usual. I was exhausted because I had not slept the night prior. Our separation, although brief put me through the worst nights of my life. Every minute not knowing if he was still mine was torturous. He is everything to me.

I quickly move downstairs and exhale when I see him. He is sitting by the window looking out at the view of the garden and wooded area. "Good morning, buddy,' I say greeting Zeus as I lean down and scratch behind his ear.

"Sorry baby. I was just thinking about how happy I am and the day ahead. I didn't want to disturb you, so I came down here and found someone was up," he says looking down at Zeus as he smiles and giggles.

"Tae it's Christmas Eve! Isn't that great!" Kookie says as he rapidly claps his hands.

The Snowstorm is expected about 3:00 p.m. on Christmas day. Suga, Jimin and Jin need to get there before noon tomorrow. We will all need to stay a few days."

We find the key under the mat and slowly enter as I am again swept away by the cottage's beauty.

"Wow," is all I can say as my eyes takes in the expansive view. It is a huge open floor plan. We walk into the family, dining and kitchen areas which are all included in one enormous room. Not only are we amazed with the space but the entire room which is festively decorated for Christmas. There are angels, reindeers, lights, ornaments, and a large wreath hanging over a massive fireplace that climbs up to the cathedral ceiling. Almost every space is decorated except for one, a 12-foot Christmas tree that stands near the large stone fireplace. It is in front of a huge floor to ceiling window that looks out into a beautiful winter wonderland of open space and evergreen trees.

"Wow," Tae says as his eyes open wide, and he takes in the amazing space.

"Hahaha!" Tae laughs as I turn and see him standing by the fireplace. There are several Christmas stocking hangings on the mantel and two are embroidered with two names. Kookie and Taehyung. I tear up knowing that this is all part of Jin's special touches. He is making this holiday special not only for Tae, but for me also. I am moved.
