《Inner Demons》Protective for a Stranger (Though It Feels As Though They Met Before...)

A feeble, trembling body is clasped within my arms. Eyes spilling crystalline tears, soaking through my clothes. A soft whimper escapes his throat as he attempts to worm deeper into my grasp, as if to try and enter a dimension free from these insolent, apathetic a**holes.
First is concern, melding into my being, causing my arms to grasp him close and my mind to whirr with worries. Then is sadness, weighing my heart down as I watch the blonde shiver, wishing, with every fibre of my existence, for things to be alright. Lastly, there's anger, a whip lashing my brain, causing it to go numb with fury as my eyes glare towards those pestilent monsters.
Yet even with my brain incapable of cognitive reasoning, my embrace remained.
Humans disgust me. They take and they take and they take some more. As if their feigned ignorance could justify the collapse of everything around them. They turn different into demonic. They turn hurtful into necessary. They turn evil into vindication.
Humans, leeches. To me they are no different. For they are both parasites that feast upon their hosts. They are both creatures that only leave me with anguish and disgust. However, though I can squish a leech with the flick of my hand, the strength of the human race is too oppressive to overcome. Thus leaving me to hug another victim of its abuse within my weary arms.
The feeble blonde looks into my eyes, his own erased of its plasticity. Yet even in those hollow depths I can find beauty far beyond what another could muster. His bronze skin that shines with tears. His golden silk hair and adorable whiskered cheeks. The abyss of his eyes that shine with a siren's call.
'Oh s***. I can not be gaining a crush on some kid I just met...'
A figure sits upon a balcony, a melancholy smile upon their face, wishing that the time was reached already.
Author's Note: This chapter was quite short... Anyways, sorry for the break in uploads, I couldn't find time in my schedule to work on the story. Thank you for your heart warming comments and for reading this book so far

8 300The Dungeon Draft (A LitRPG novel)
All families must enlist one child into the draft at age ten to contribute to their survival. Few make it through the six months of mandatory service inside one of the numerous dungeons surrounding them. However, those that are chosen can greatly improve their families status depending on how long they survive, and most strive to provide for their loved ones even if their chances are slim of ever seeing them again. Three children from different factions are thrown together by fate, and perhaps a fair amount of luck, into a dangerous dungeon where nothing is as they expected. No one believes they will come out alive, but with tenacity and unexpected teamwork, they might just have a shot of proving eveyone wrong.
8 191Deliverance
Villains still exist on this place. Even when Justice calls for blood, these Heros they call themselves, still refused to act the righteousness that needed to be delivered. Heros... They bastardized the term of the word "Hero". With a new player joining the game, its time for the world to remind them what a true Hero means... Overlord x Boku no Hero Crossover (Self Insert OC, No Ainz or Nazarick)
8 296Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
8 140A Portal Fantasy Comedy Poem
Mix an adolescent shepherd boy in love with a girl who wants to meet existentialists, a Viscount in need of an adventure, and a bland psychic. Add in a flippant god. Put them in a land made up of the after-lives of various different cultures. Stir gently. Sprinkle in some random Midgard Serpent, Genghis Khan, Scheherazade, and a cussing mocking bird. Fry lightly. Season to taste and serve with desired garnishes. Bon apetit! A comic fantasy poetic epic, filled with misfits, slapstick routines, light romance, people shouting out the names of their battle skills before using them, old philosopher dudes running around naked, a very serious lamb, demonic knitting, battery operated magic swords and even more traumatising stuff! I experimented with different styles in the beginning and finally settled on an ABABBCBC rhyme scheme (Give me your 0.5s. Gimme, gimme, gimme. I'm collecting them, seriously)
