What the hell is that dobe doing? Why isn't he even fighting? I've known Naruto for years and this is probably the first time I've seen him like this. The first time I've seen him merely run up to the opponent without any tricks up his sleeves or not resorting to the 'Shadow Clone Jutsu'. I feel a heavy sigh escape my lips as I look down on him, he truly is a dunce.I feel the rock in my hand's grip, I feel my arm swing backward for momentum and I feel the stone slip through my hand as I let it fly, watching it race towards my target. As always, it hits exactly what I aimed for. I watch as it scrapes across the man's hand forcing out blood in the process. Konohamaru falls to the ground safely as the male loosened his grip on reflex. I watch as the the sharp gaze turns to me and I feel as if he's glaring daggers towards my general direction. The corners of my lips turn upwards in a self-centred smirk. I watch as he let's loose of the bandages wrapped around an object on his back and I change into a defence stance. He starts to attack when-" Kankuro, back off." The sound came from directly beside me.As I turn my head I see a boy, short in stature, and... Upside down? I swear I didn't sense him prior to when I threw the rock. " You're an embarrassment to our village." He stated, earning a combination of confused gasps from the audience below.However, his statement wasn't the thing that shocked me, it was Naruto's reaction to seeing him. Or rather, his lack of reaction. He simply looked up at Gaara, eyes showing no hint of surprise or fear. It was almost as if he expected it- no, that couldn't be. This is NARUTO we're speaking about. If anything, he's just frozen from shock. There is no way that he sensed Gaara there before hand, I'M the strongest one, not him.
