i waited for Gaara to arrive in Konoha. It seemed like a lifetime.

i was nervous as hell. I kept worrying that Sasuke might change his mind. The he would tell Tsunaide about Gaara and I.

I could only wait for Gaara to get here. Gaara and his sister arrived three days later. On time, Just as Gaara had said he would be. Another girl was with him. A small girl, she looked like she could be no older than say, seven. Her hair was long, and tied up in twin pigtails. Even in pigtails upon her head her hair still hung down my her waist. She was a platinum blonde. Her eyes were a red rimmed brown, and, she is flatter than Sakura was at the age. Just behind her was a woman. A full grown, woman with curves in all the correct places. Her hair was kept short in a tight bun on her head. i sighed in relief. I dart out towards the gate.

"Gaara!" i yelled out, my usual grin on my face. I remembered that i was supposed to be unaware of what was happening. "what are you doing here?" i said loudly still grinning as i gave him a hug. I heard a soft sound off to my left. I released Gaara and looked over to the small girl. "hi, im naruto, future hokage. whats your name?" her eyes flashed with faint interest, and she held out her hand.

"Mina Tepes. Kazekage candidate." i shook her hand before turning to Temari who looked bored.

"Shikamaru is up on roof of the Barbecue house watching the clouds." i said to her, laughing. she grunted, blushed then whacked me upside the head before she headed off to go an meet him. Muttering a word of thanks as she went by me. i turned back to Gaara, "so, i take you guys want to head to Hokage tower?" Mina nodded. The woman behind her simply followed behind as we started off towards the tower with me leading. I showed the sights to Mina and, the lady as we went. Gaara paid attention, despite the fact i was simply showing him things he had seem before. although. i think that he was paying attention to me. rather then what i was showing. A small smirk formed, and i decided to start showing off my body while i walked them to the Hokage tower.

i took of my jacket, as tied it around my waist. I was only wearing my mesh and wire shirt underneath. "mm. its humid. i think it might rain to night." I looked upwards, arching my back just slightly, as i did so. i glanced back at Gaara. "come on. this way." i said as i laughed at his expression. which was empty. A perfect self control. We made our way to the tower and i nodded to the familiar ninja couple camped outside the door.

"hey Naruto." They said grinning at me. knowing whenever i came i made things intresting.

"hey Kotetsu, Izumi." i nodded to them before stepping inside the old ladies office.

"naruto....what is it?" Tsunaide said sighing the moment i walked through the door.

"hey? whats with that tone? i came here to introduce you to some people."

"who ever it is can make an appointment." i laughed at her words.

"i think they already do." she blinked as i stepped over to the side to reveal Gaara and mina standing behind me.

"ah, Gaara!" she said recognizing him. Hey eyes fluttered over toward the woman next to Mina. "and you must be Mina Tepes. The woman blinked and glanced down to the real Mina Tepes. Who was bright red and her face showed irritation.

"ah... no madame." she said in a clear voice. she put her hand on Mina. "this is." Tsunaide blinked,

"ah. i see."

"hello. Its wonderful to meet you Lady Tsunaide." mina bowed her head for a very brief moment. it looked more like a nod to me. "This is Vera." she pointed to the woman behind her.

"i see." Tsunaide frowned for a brief moment. "where is Temari?" I laughed.

"where do you think she is

oba-chan?" i laughed again as she sighed.

"ah." she sighed. "well. its nice to meet you Mina, and its nice to see you again Gaara." she handed a scroll over to Shizune. "here. take this and deliver it over to the hospital." she turned back to us. "we can discuss more in the morning. I look forward to getting to know you two." With that she turned her face down wards to focus on the papers which lay scattered all across the desk. I grinned and grabbed Gaara's hand.

"come on, lee is going to be thrilled to see you!" Gaara glanced over, not all that sure about that fact. i laughed. "he wants a rematch." gaara said nothing, mearly turned his face forward as i lead him over to the training grounds.

"i suppose we can come as well?" a voice sounded behind me. i stopped and flashed a quick smile, to reassure her, and remind myself she was there.

"yeah if you want, im sure everyone would love to spar with you as well." she nodded slightly and followed behind us.
