Naruto pov

I guess I fell asleep cause the next thing I know, Gaara is standing over me with an amused look.

"G-Gaara? " I asked sitting up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Gaara chuckled as he watched me.

"Dinners ready." He said and I looked at him blankly. He chuckled again. "Naruto. Food." He whispered and I jolted.

"Food?!" I asked excitedly. He laughed heartily before nodding. I jumped up and ran to the door before turning to see him still standing there. "Come on!! Food!!" I Said as I grabbed his wrist and pulling him down the stairs with me.

"N-Naruto! Calm down! It's not going anywhere!" He said laughing. I shrugged.

"Food don't wait for no man." I said as I entered the dining room. He laughed as I plopped down into the chair, before disappearing into the kitchen. After about a minute he returned with two servings of Katsudon. Placing one in front of me before setting one down for him. I smiled at him and thanked him before shoving some in my mouth. I froze and stared at him with wide eyes as the flavor exploded in my mouth. He watched me intently.

"Is it bad?" He asked and I shook my head before swallowing the food in my mouth.

"That was the best thing I've ever tasted!!!!!!" I exclaim before I inhaled the food left on my plate. He smiled. His cheeks tainted a light red.

"Thank you. I've never made this meal before...I'm glad you like it." He said before taking a bit of his own and nodding. "It is quite good." He said before taking another bite.

"Right!!!" I said with a smile.
