《She's My Submissive》18

Emily's POV
The words replay in my head the entire time I lay next to Alison. She can't fall in love with me. It will only hurt her in the end. She knew coming into this lifestyle with me is not like any other normal relationship. Falling in love isn't one of them and it scares me. I've never had any of my subs tell me that they love me. Coming from Alison, hits different than anything else.
I don't know how I feel about it or even know what to say. What if she mentions it when she wakes up? How do I tell her that I refuse to let myself fall in love with one of my subs? It will hurt her and that's the last thing I want.
Alison is innocent on so many levels and I'm no where near that. I am not the one for her and I don't think she sees that. She's just a temporary sub until I get bored of her.
At least I keep telling myself that. It's how it was with all of my other ones anyways. Once they ceased to bore me, I released them. But with Ali, it seems impossible for her to bore me. She's intoxicating and so much different than the rest of them.
I need air. I need time to think about what I need to do.
**
I hear Alison's footsteps come down the stairs as I cook lunch. Her yawn echoes through the kitchen, making me smile slightly.
"Hey, beautiful." She whispers sleepily, wrapping her arms around my waist from behind. Her arms bring me comfort and warmth. I can't help but to lean back into her touch.
"Breakfast is almost ready." I say, as I flip the omelet over on to the other side.
"It smells good." She states, kissing the side of my neck, making me intense. Not in a bad way. I'm just still thinking about this morning. Her hands slide down closer to the wast line of my shorts, making my heart race.
"Ali." I warn her before she can even think about it. It's not that I don't want her to because I do. I just need more time to think about what she said. I hate that she said it but at the same time, it makes my heart nervous.
"Are you okay?" She asks, her voice faltering.
"Yes, I'm sorry. My mind is on work." I lie. I don't want to have to talk about how I feel. It will end badly.
"Let me take your mind off of it." She suggests, turning me around to face her. My eyes drift down to a now shirtless Alison, her black lace bra revealing most of her. Damn.
"Ali, I'm cooking." I shrug her off the best I can even though right now, I want to pick her up and push her against the wall. I turn around and push the omelet around on the pan to distract myself.
"Okay..." She finally takes the hint and steps away from me. I hate that I'm rejecting her but what she said is messing with my mind more than it should. If she was any of my other subs, I would release her. But I can't do the same to her. I would be devastated without Alison.
And the thought of her being with anyone else makes my blood boil. I don't want the thought of someone else touching what is mine so I give in.

I sigh and turn the oven off. I can't stand the idea of upsetting her. I turn around and press my lips against hers, picking her up in the process. She gives me a smile when she pulls away.
"Work may be on my mind, but that doesn't mean we can't have a good day." I tell her as I walk her into the bedroom.
**
Alison's POV
After hours of me and Emily messing around in bed, I finally got tired and had fallen asleep. She had left a note whenever I woke back up, saying that she and Hanna went on a ride to go look at a business site. I guess it's the one that was on her mind earlier.
I sigh and get out of bed to shower. I don't want to lay in bed all day until she gets back. I'll grow bored and not know what to do with myself.
As I go to get out of the shower, I feel light headed. Probably because I didn't eat. I'm sure I'm fine.
-
I smile at the message as I begin to throw on clothes. I love it when they randomly invite me to something. It makes me feel wanted by them.
I send a quick text back saying I'll be heading that way soon.
**
"Babe, I'll be home tonight." I tell Emily as soon as she answers the phone. The babe falls from my lips without me realizing it until it was too late but I let it go.
"Where are you going?" I can hear the concern in her voice.
"Aria and Spencer invited me to see a movie in town. I didn't know how long you had planned on being gone so I said yes." I bite my lip, waiting for her response. I know I shouldn't be making that choice or if I am even allowed to.
"When will you be back?"
"I'll text you when the movie is over." I tell her with a smile even though she can't see me.
"And what will you be wearing?" I roll my eyes.
"Relax, I'm just wearing a short dress with high heels."
"Ali." The warning in her voice makes me laugh.
"I'm kidding. I'm wearing a casual outfit that doesn't show anything."
"Good. Be safe and let me know when you get there. You can take one of the cars from the garage."
**
After choosing the mustang to drive in, I head to the movies. I'm not sure which one we are watching because they didn't say. But I know it will be good.
As I pull in, I see Aria and Spencer holding hands, making me smile. I ship them so much. They deserve each other.
Once they see me, they head over to the car, eyeing it.
"Damn, maybe I should screw Emily so I can have a car too." Aria jokes, making Spencer roll her eyes.
"It's not like that." I defend myself even though she is joking.
"Relax, I'm kidding." Aria gives me a hug. "I miss not having you around as much." Spencer agrees with a nod of her head.
"So what movie are we watching?" I ask.
"We are watching The Lion King." Spencer states, glaring at Aria.
"What! I want to see it and I have no regrets making you two come and see it with me." She shrugs her shoulders before grabbing Spencer's hand. "Now come on before all the seats are taken."

"Aria, we are here twenty minutes early." Spencer states.
"Whatever. Let's go." Aria grabs my hand in hers and pulls me forward.
My vision in front of me starts to blur a little and I begin to feel light headed. "Woah." I stop in my tracks and place my hand against my head.
"Hey, are you okay?" Aria asks, placing her hand against my arm to steady me.
"You okay?" Spencer asks but her voice fades away toward the end.
"I feel weird." I state but I barely hear myself speak.
"Maybe you need to——?"
I look over at Spencer and Aria to see the concern look on their faces as their mouths move but I don't hear anything. A ringing sound fills my ears as my head starts to pound.
My legs give out on me as I hit the ground, losing control of my body.
"Alison!" I scream out her name as she hits the ground unconscious. My heart rate speeds up as I try and feel a pulse but I can't concentrate. "I don't think she's breathing!" I scream, shaking Alison.
"We need an ambulance!" Aria says into the phone and starts talking about what happened and where to find us.
I place Alison on her back and begin CPR to the best of my ability. If it is one thing I'm good at, it was listening in school when it came to basic CPR.
"Ali, stay with me." I tell her as I do compressions. I tilt her head back and hold her nose as I blow air into her mouth and then repeat the process over.
"She's not getting a response." Aria cries into phone. "She's trying to but it's not working, please hurry!"
I can't lose Alison. I don't even know if she's okay or if this is even helping but I can't just sit here and do nothing!
"Ali, we need you to fight." I tell her, hoping she can hear me.
"I look around the house that I grew up in confused and lost. What happened? Am I dreaming? Is this real?
"Alison, sweetheart. It is okay."
Mom?
For a second I think she is talking to me but I'm wrong. Sort of.
I walk into my old bedroom to see my mom sitting on the bed next to a younger me. I'm crying about something but I can't remember why...
"He's just a boy. You will forget all about him when you are older. You will find someone who will treat you the way you should be treated." She encourages me.
I remember now. The boy I had a crush on told me he liked another girl in our class. It broke my spirit.
"Guys are jerks!" She cries as she hugs my mother. Well our mother. However you want to put it.
"Not all guys are jerks, Alison. Just wait and see..." my mother smiles down at her and gives her a kiss on the forehead.
"Mom?" I call out to her hoping she would hear me. Her head turns toward the door before her eyes go in shock.
"Alison, what are you doing here?" She gets up off the bed and walks over to me before taking my hands into hers. Her touch is the same as I remembered.
I begin to cry. "I was afraid you wouldn't be able to hear me." I pull her into a hug and cry more.
"Of course I can sweetheart. I always can." She holds me tighter before pulling away. "You're not supposed to be here. What happened?" Her eyes are filled with concern.
"Where are we?" I ask, ignoring her as my eyes wonder my old bedroom. My little self is no longer in the room.
"We are in my place." My mom smiles. "This is what I envision myself in on the other side."
"So you're happy?" I smile a little.
"I am very happy. As for you, I am glad to see you happy too. Emily is pretty great." She gives me an approval.
"I miss you, mom." I hug her one more time.
"Now, as much as I love to see you, you need to go back." She states.
"Mom, I can't leave you." I shake my head.
"You haven't. I can envision anything I want, Alison. And you are always here."
"I will never see you again." I frown with tears in my eyes.
"You will honey, when it is your time. But you need to go back. Go back to your friends and Emily. I'll be okay. I promise. And I will always be looking over you. I love you. Both of you." She gives me a knowing smile before a light takes over my vision.
**
The sound of beeping fills my ears and the sound of talking makes me opens my eyes.
"Ali?" I hear Emily's voice before she comes into my view. She looks concerned.
"I'm okay." I whisper tiredly.
"I came as soon as Aria called me. What happened?"
"I don't know." I shake my head trying to recall. "I remember walking with Aria and Spencer and then I passed out."
"The doctors ran some test and said they will come back with the results as soon as they know what's wrong." She informs me while her hand holds mine.
"I didn't mean to scare you." I give her a smile as I look around. "Where are they?"
"They are in the waiting room. I told them they could go home but they refused to leave without knowing if you are okay."
I smile. Emily takes a deep breath, looking nervous.
"Ali, I have been wanting to tell you something but I didn't know how to say it." I nod my head for her to continue. "I wanted to tell you this morning but I couldn't find the right words to say but I-"
The door opens revealing the doctor. He looks relieved to see me awake.
"How are you feeling?" He asks, with a clipboard in his hand.
I look over at Emily, but she nods her head. I guess we will talk about it later.
"I feel fine. I'm a little tired but other than that, I'm fine."
"We ran some tests and we just wanted to confirm with you that you were aware of the situation."
"Confirm?" I ask, confused.
"Ms. Dilaurentis, are you aware that you are pregnant?"

Humanity's End
Given a year to prepare by the mysterious ‘system’ for contact with the wider galaxy, humanity must work to ensure the Earth’s defense is ready to meet any challenge. Sadly, most of the world seems dedicated to tearing itself apart as the year-end deadline gets closer. The west is in barely contained Chaos, while the east descends into internal conflict and war. The Pillar Forts, one of the few successful projects of the United Nations headed by the United States, stand ready to defend humanity against any invasion that may come through the strange Connection Pillars that appeared on each continent. Massive steel and stone walls that surround the Connection Pillars. They are filled with deadly men and women trained in all manner of warfare, each trained in the newly acquired System with skills and magical abilities that they put to deadly purpose. Beside these brave warriors, tanks, helicopters, artillery and more stand ready to defend humanity at each of these powerful installations. But, can they overcome the disparity in levels and experience between themselves and the forces that threaten them and the rest of humanity? Main Characters Jessica Brown- A young African American girl. Her 18th birthday in Detroit was the same day the systems message appeared. She discovered she was Level 7, much higher than most of the rest of the world. Why she is blessed, or cursed, with the power she doesn’t know. But what she does know is that she rather likes the feeling that comes with manipulating magic. The week after her birthday, government workers started testing every person in the US in a massive census effort of skills and abilities. Jessica Brown found herself conscripted into the US Magical Corp, a new branch of the US Military, and shipped off to a Pillar Fort. Somewhere hot and muggy in her ancestors’ home of Africa. As she grows stronger, she finds she has some connection to the pillars. While everyone else sees beauty or danger when they look at the pillars, after connection is made all Jessica can see is a Tree. A tree the size of the entire universe. Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. When people in her small town had to deal with rioters and looters after the system announcement, she rallied them to defend themselves, earning her a trait that the government found extraordinarily useful. After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The US government, hell, even the United Nations, seems to have fallen into complete and utter chaos. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up? DEDICATION: This story is dedicated to my father who passed away recently. Jim Holloway, you’ll be missed you old silverback gorilla. Love you dad. Always have, always will.

Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.
