Chapter thirty

Seventeen years later

Stef's Pov

"You have your lunch?" I asked Nate he nodded as he avoided our youngest Matt, six, as he raced around the kitchen chasing his, ten year old, older brother Mason trying to retrieve his teddy bear. Sage and Natalie ran in grabbing energy bars and smiled at me I giggled at them they were well Emo to put it nicely. Black skinny jeans scremo band t-shirts that I could sadly recognize seeing as they we're my old ones. Sage had gotten the alpha gene and found his mate Marie daughter of a collage buddy of Nate's. She ran in and kissed him wrapping her legs around his waist he chuckled as she attacked his lips. She was wearing similar clothing to him but had snake bites. Which he would be getting in a few days when he got his paycheck from Hot-Topic. "Come on wait to you get to school if your father catches you two he'll have my hide." Nate whined when he saw them she smiled at Nate and shrugged. "I like your hide where it is." I said looking Nate up and down. "What are you doing up!" he yelled realizing I was standing. "The baby is fine. I've had four already!" I yelled. He glared but let it go for now. as my brothers, Sedric and Ryan ran in to take Sage, Marie and Natalie to school. I waved good bye. "Tell Your grandfather I said good morning." I yelled as they ran down the steps. Nate chuckled and kissed me. "Seth will be here soon." Nate said kissing me goodbye as my mother ran in giggling holding my father's car keys.

"ROSE!" my father's voice echoed through the house. I giggled as he stormed in she held the keys up and giggled. "So what are you willing to do to get them back?" she asked a smile on her face. Dad raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "I guess I'll get fired and follow you around all day like a lost pup." He said shrugging. She gapped. "You mean like when we were little?" she asked he nodded a smirk on his face she gagged and jumped in his arms kissing him goodbye and pushed him out the door narrowly missing Seth. He laughed at their stupidity and patted my belly gently. "How's my little niece or nephew coming along?" he asked. "Slow."

When the kids got home I laughed at Natalie's face. "What's up baby?" I asked her. "There's a rouge in town and he's my mate." she told me I burst into laughter with Nate at my side. "Like mother like daughter." Nate said looking at Natalie. Natalie glared at her father and he dropped everything in his hands and ran his daughter chasing after him. the boys sat on the sofa. I giggled and sat with them watching my mate pled for help. I shrugged remember my father had suffered a similar torment.
