Tears from my eyes fell like water falls. I'm both filled with joy and sadness. Joy because my grandfather is proud of me and helped me but sad as well because i have to kill someone close to Jonathas and most of all, i have to kill someone who i love, who i still cherish and who i once love.

Chapter 30:

Lexy's POV

"Lexy, is something wrong?" Jonathas's concerned voice startled me making me hide the letter in my pocket and face him with a small smile.

"N-nothing." i said wiping my tears.

He didn't look convinced, i mean, who wouldnt? I'm not even convinced myself.

"What... what did the letter say?" he asked trying to change the subject.

"He... he told me how to cure your curse and... and how much he loves me." i responded looking at his portrait on the wall.

"I'm sure he's happy where ever he is." Jonathas smiled.

A smile appeared on my face but i felt my heart just stop for a moment, like multiple knives were thrown at my heart, how can i just kill someone he loves? he has done so much to make me smile and here i am going to kill someone he loves?!

"Lexy..." he spoke making me snap back to reality.

"Um... So what did your letter say?" i asked changing the subject.

He suddenly twitched and stuffed the letter in his pocket.

"Just... just a few advice." he said not looking at me in the eye.

"About what?"

"How i should treat my mate, he even wrote that if i ever hurt you he'd haunt me for the rest of my life." he chuckled and so did i.

Sometimes, i wish time would just stop. I want to stay like this. forever.

Avex's POV

"I want you to kill." He said with a smile.

"Why dont you do it your self? You're a Night walker for heaven's sakes." I said and he just stared at me.

"If i can do it myself then why would i wouldnt be asking you to do it for me? My instructions are simple. Kill this person and you and your son are free." He said with frustration.

What's with this guy? He can kill anyone easily, but why would he ask me to do it? What's on his mind anyway? what's he planning? I looked at him and just tried to read his mind. He was looking down on the floor and his mind was obviously somewhere. Basing on his facial expression and his mind somewhere else, it must be important. But he's not as smart as he thinks he is. He was too focused on what was he was thinking about that he forgot to block me from his mind. Since i was so curious, i read his mind.

"Why am i doing this again?" Leaf asked himself. weird.

"For us to get our mate!" His wolf responded.

"And what is the connection between him and our mate?"

"Because, if Lexy wont kill him...she'll be forced to kill Lee, which is 100% impossible."

Lexy's POV

We were walking back to the pack house and the weird part is, Jonathas is quiet. Like really quiet. Every time i look at him, there's something in his eyes that bothers me. Ever since we left my grandfather's house, he never spoke a word. If he caught me staring, he would smile but their was still something in his eyes that keeps bothering me. I could see the pack house and i caught sight of Lee on Oliver's lap sitting on the step and next to him was Cameron.

"Lexy," Jonathas finally spoke.

i turned around and face him. I was waiting for him to talk but he just stared at me. Then, all of a sudden, he wrapped his arms around me real tight as if his life depended on it. I wrapped my arms around him as well but his embrace was indescribable, it was as if it was filled with too much emotion.

"What's wrong?" i asked and he slowly let me go but he still held my arms.

"Nothing." he smiled.

"Nothing? So, you just randomly hugged me?"

"Yeah. I just want to hug my mate."

Okay, i'm really bothered right now.

"Jonathas, are you okay? are you sick or something?" i asked checking his temperature on his fore head and neck.

"I'm fine. I'm just happy you're my mate." he said genuinely, which is quiet odd.

He let go of my other hand and we walked toward the house. Just as we were out of the woods, Lee immediately spotted us and jumped out of Oliver's lap and run toward us.

"Mommy!" he called out.

He stopped right in front of us and smiled at his dad.

"What is it bud?" Jonathas asked.

"Mommy, Iwm gawnna be a biwg bwawder!!" He said excitedly making me and Jonathas look at him with shock and curiosity.

"What do you mean by that Lee?" i asked.

"You promised to keep it a secret Lee." Oliver pouted as he walked toward us with Cameron beside her.

Lee giggled and okay, i was lost. I looked at Oliver and he was looking at Cameron with such love and joy. Wait... Cameron smiled and lightly placed her hand on her stomach.

"Lexy, I'm pregnant." she smiled and i ran to her and just hugged her.

"I'm so happy for you!" i smiled as i let her go and looked at Oliver who already had his arms open wide.

I hugged him and he spins me around while shouting "I'm ganna be a father!"

He let me stand on my feet and Jonathas offered his hand for a hand shake.

"Congratulations Oliver." He said and Oliver shook his hand.

"Thank you Jonathas." Oliver smiled back and it wasnt the cold hearted smile anymore.

"Mommy," Lee called holding my hand.

"Yes Lee?"

"I wawna bawby browder." he suddenly said making us all look at him with shock, well... i did.

"Lee, do you know what you're saying?" I asked with a raised eye brow.

He nodded and Jonathas laughed. I looked at Oliver and he looked away whistling, guilty. I turned my gaze to Cameron and she looked at me with an apologetic look. I knew it, Oliver's behind this.

"Do you really want a baby brother Lee?" Jonathas asked and Lee nodded with a huge grin on his face.

"Did you hear that Lexy?" Jonathas asked with a sly smile on his face as he looked at me, "Lee wants a baby brother." he added making me blush.

Jonathas's POV

I smiled at Lexy's blushing face. she's so red right now, She looked away and we all laughed. I still can't believe Lee would say something like that in his age. Well, i am his father so that explains it. I even asked my father once if how are babies made. yeah, and his face was really hilarious. Why did i even ask that?

Then Jerome's letter popped in my mind.

"Oliver, i need to talk to you." i said as i mind linked him so Lexy wont notice.

"Why?"

"I really need to talk to you, it's important."

"In the office." he responded.

"Lee, didnt you want your mom to cook your favorite pan cakes?" Oliver asked Lee and Lee nodded with a grin on his face.

"Then why didnt you tell me earlier." Lexy held Lees hand and we followed.

We went in and Lexy, Lee and Cameron went in the kitchen while we excused ourselves. I gave Lexy a peck on her lips and Lee giggled. Oliver and i went to Lexys' office and i shut the door closed.

"So what do you want to talk about?" Oliver asked sitting down on the couch.

I took a deep breath and looked at him in the eye.

"I know you dont want me to be with Lexy-"

"Damn right." he nodded cutting me off making a sigh come out of my mouth.

"-But i love her and our son. Since the day i saw her, i felt so complete. I swear i searched for her after that night in Vegas. i sent some of my best trackers to find her, i wanted to see her again. That day i found Lexy again, i felt whole again. She gave meaning to my life and when i found out we have a son, i was just overwhelmed with joy. I dont want to loose them, heck! i dont even want to live without them. I'm just starting to be Lees' father and i want to be with him and Lexy forever. I love them both and i cant imagine my life, the future with out them by my side."

"I dont really hate you Jonathas but i dont like you either. If you didnt get my sister pregnant in the first place then things would have been different but... if it weren't for you, i wouldnt have a good looking niece like Lee. I can see how happy Lexy can be when she's around you but, She's always in danger too when you're together. I love my sister Jonathas, i lost a one of my sisters once, i wont let it happen again. Lexy is very important to me Jonathas, And i'll hunt you down if she even shed another tear because of you."

"Wait, does that mean you'll let me be with Lexy?" i asked with a hopeful smile on my face.

"Yes." he nodded and i felt like the happiest person in the world.

"Wait, what about Leaf?" i asked... wow, i never thought i would ask that.

"He's not the same person Lexy and i grew up with. i've seen the changes in his life and there's something wrong when he's with Lexy. Call it a brotherly in-stinks."

"There's one more thing i want to tell you."

"What's that?" he asked.

"I want to take Lee and Lexy somewhere. I want to spend a week or two with them, i've missed almost 4 years of my time with them. I want to get to know them Oliver, i just want to spend time with them as a family."

"What about Leaf? what will happen if he finds out about this?"

"that's why i need your help, tell him Lexy has to go somewhere with Lee in a pack meeting, and Lee has to go with her for his future and stuff."

"Do you think this will work?"

"I hope so."

"Keep them safe Jonathas. When are you leaving?"

"tomorrow. as soon as possible."

"Be safe." he said and we left the room.

At least I have Oliver on my side. All i need to do now is be happy with my family.

Kace's POV

I was just passing by Jonathass' room when i accidentally heard his thoughts... And i wish i didnt. I busted his door open and he looked at me surprisingly.

"WHAT THE HELL JONATHAS! IF YOU REALLY LOVE MY BEST FRIEND THEN WHY ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE HER?!"

He looked at me with wide eyes and he sighed.

"I love her Kace, that's why i'm going to leave her." he responded.

"IF YOU REALLY LOVE HER THEN BE WITH HER, BE WITH YOUR FAMILY. SHE FREAKIN' LOVES YOU AND YOU'RE JUST GOING TO LEAVE HER?! WHAT KIND OF MATE DOES THAT?!"

"the kind of mate that will want her mate to be happy. Kace, i need to leave her so she can be happy, i need to even if it hurst, i need to do it. for us."

"STOP WITH THE BS JONATHAS, HOW CAN SHE BE HAPPY WITHOUT YOU AND LEE?!"

"Because without us, she doesnt have to die." he said and i was speechless.

"Dont tell her Kace, i beg you. I dont want her to feel more pain. I love her, that's why i'm doing this."

Yey!! finally finished a chapter!!

And i still didnt do my project, haha... did this just now so...

yeah, ganna wake up early to do a project -_-
