Chapter 24: The real Joshua

Lexy's POV

I stood there, keeping my eyes at the 2 males handing out their shirt for me. Jonathas or Leaf? Which one? I dont want to hurt one of them, i mean if i'll pick one of their shirts, they might think i'm already choosing. But i want to shift back to my human form. I was about to grab a shirt when another shirt appeared in front of me, Oliver's scent hit my nose. i looked up to see Oliver handing out a shirt, he was still wearing a shirt though.

"Take it, if you know what's good for you." he smiled and i nodded.

I grabbed Oliver's shirt and ran behind a tree, shifting to my human form. I wore the shirt and it was covering my a$$, thank heavens. I walked back toward them and again, all eyes on me.

"Can we talk now?" Oliver asked as soon as i was near them.

"After you change." Jonathas said looking at me.

"As much as i like looking at you like that," Leaf said looking at me from head to toe with a smile,"I agree with him. You need to cover more skin."

'Let me take control, i wanna play.' Luna spoke.

'Why?'

'I want to talk to Joshua, i have some questions.'

'About?'

'Dont worry Lexy, i wont hurt him or anything. i just want to talk to him, promise.'

'What if you hurt him?'

'Then you wont shift or let me out for a month or 2, Deal?'

'Deal.' i said and let her took control.

Luna's POV

I was now in control. Here, i stood in front of my 2 mates and Lexy's brother who's eyes suddenly widened when i took control, huh... he noticed already. i smirked, now, where was i?

"But Oliver doesnt mind." i pouted adding the puppy dog eyes.

"Please babe, i might loose control and ravish you." Leaf smirked making Jonathas growl.

"Oh grow up mutt." Leaf rolled his eyes at Jonathas.

"Luna, stop playing. Let Lexy have the control back." Oliver said seriously.

"As expected from Oliver Moon." i smirked,

"I'll give her back control, dont worry but i have to talk to Jonathas first." I said.

"Why?" Leaf asked sounding surprised.

"I'm ganna talk to his wolf. Dont worry, we're not choosing... yet." i smiled reassuringly.

He looked at me for a while and nodded.

"Alright, Jonathas. Follow me." i said and ran to the forest.

I ran by foot and Jonathas followed also in his human form. i reached the end of my territory and faced Jonathas. I felt Joshua asking to take control.

"Let Joshua take control, i want to speak to him." i said.

are you insane?! he might hurt you! Lexy shouted in my mind.

i know what i'm doing Lexy and i'm doing this for our son.

Jonathas looked at me for a long time and he nodded. he closed his eyes and when he opened them, i was now facing Joshua.

"Hello Joshua." I spoke looking at him in the eye.

"Hello Mate." His husky voice made me almost melt but i pushed it away and looked at him.

"So, what do you want to talk about? Our Future? Our pups?" he smirked.

He has a big ego. Lexy said.

I agree.

"Dot get to excited big guy, we're not choosing yet. Dont make me remind you of how scared Lexy was during the full moon." i growled at the last part.

Lexy was so scared that time, too scared that she even forgot that she can shift. As Lexy's wolf, i felt anger inside me thinking i could have done something to help her that time and worst, it was our own mate who made her feel such thing.

I wasnt scared. Lexy ease dropped

Sure you weren't.

"Luna, I'm so-"

"Dont." i said cutting him off.

"All i want to talk about is the curse, not your pathetic apology." Okay, i think i hurt his feelings there.

"What do you want to know?" He asked with a sigh.

"I want to know your view of the story, the story between Alexandria and Lucian." i responded.

When he heard Alexandria's name, i felt his eyes go wide but i pushed it away.

"Aren't you listening to Jacob?"

"I want to know the whole truth Joshua, i know somethings missing and you have my answers."

He smiled.

"Smart girl."

"So you do know the whole truth?"

"Yes. I know you seek the cure and i do know what it is. "

"What is it?"

"Alexandria's pups." he responded making me look at him with a shocked expression.

"She has kids? how?"

"She had a family with another wolf, Zane Blake. Zane too was rejected by his mate, since they were both in the same boat; they mated. They had two sons, Alek and Josh. they were all happy but when Lucian heard about their sons, he sent trackers to find them. It took a week after the trackers found their whereabouts. They reported back to Lucian and he himself went to face them. He got to their home just to see Zane in his wolf form in front of their home. Lucian smelled Alexandria's and her pups' scents in the house. Zane protected his family, he killed all the trackers but died fighting Lucian. Lucian barged in the house only to find Alexandria all alone. No pups, but he smelled 2 strange scents leaving the house. They battled and, Alexandria pulled back still have feelings for her mate making her hit many times. they were both on the ground naked, Alexandria reached for Lucian's hand and said such words that struck Lucian,

I love you forever.

With those words spoke, she died with a smile on her face. Lucian looked at his mate's lifeless body, his mate who loved him after all the things he done to her, she still loved him." he finished whispering the last words.

"So, there's a cure?" i asked happily.

He nodded but i saw a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" i asked.

"It hurts that only if Lucian didnt rejected her then they could have lived happily but he has to learn it the hard way. He just have to reject her and kill their own son. He just have to see his mate die in front of him telling him she still loved him yet he couldn't do anything to save her. He died there in front of his mate not because of the wounds he had but because of regret, he died regretting all he did to his mate." He responded, then a tear fell from his eyes.

I stared at him and curiosity was on my mind. when he was telling me all this it almost sounds like i was actually talking to Lu-

It cant be. He cant be Lucian's reincarnation.

"Wolfs are sometimes reincarnated because of some unfinished business. Most of them are seeking vengeance but most are seeking forgiveness." My mother's voice popped in my head.

"You're Lucian's reincarnation arent you?"

he looked at me shocked of what i asked but nodded.

"What?!" Lexy exclaimed.

"I hid my true identity behind the name Joshua, it's my son's name with Alexandria, whom i personally killed. I loved Joshua, even Alexandria; the moon goddess knows i really do. But that all changed when i met Veronica at a meeting in a restaurant. She gave me a drink saying it would sooth my nerves but i didnt know she put something in it. The next thing i know, i have my son's blood on my hands and i rejected the woman i loved. The moon goddess knows i didnt wish to do such things but Veronica poisoned my mind, she made me into her puppet. she pulled the strings, telling me what to do. It was like i was watching a horror movie, i watched myself push my mate away. I watched myself mark a woman i didnt love and i'm sure Alexandria felt a lot of pain, pain that i caused her and more when i made Veronica pregnant. I was only back to myself and free from Veronica's hold when Alexandria told me she loved me. right in front of me, i watched her slowly die. I crawled my way toward her and held her in my arms crying, wishing i could have set things right and never met Veronica. I vowed to myself that one day, i'll find her and make her forgive me. And after hundreds of years of being reincarnated over and over again, i found her." he finished with a smile on his face but traces of tears on his cheeks.

for some reason, i felt broken. Joshua- i mean Lucian was looking for Alexandria not me; his mate. I never thought i would feel something like this, jealousy. In my pack, they know me as Lexy's cold hearted wolf-when it comes to fighting of course- but here i am actually feeling jealous.

"Then leave already." i said and he looked at me with wide eyes.

"Just go and mate Alexandria's reincarnation and leave us already, just stop hurting us." i whispered the last part but i know he heard it.

Luna, let me take control. I know you cant handle this. Lexy said and i agreed.

I was never this weak in front of any one else- aside form Lexy-, she knows me, she knows where my limit is and i thank her for that.

Lexy's POV

I regained my control over my body and i felt Luna's feelings. Jealous. Our own mate is looking for another she wolf, not us.

"I see you got the control back." Lucian spoke as he looked into my eyes.

"Should i call you Joshua or Lucian?" i asked.

"Joshua's alright, it reminds me of my son." he responded.

"Joshua if you're asking permission if you could reject us now that you've found Alexandria i'm letting you g-" then, i was pushed and pinned between a tree and Joshua.

His hands were holding my wrist pushing it against it.

"You will not reject me. you're Alexandria Lexy. you are my mate, You are the woman i've been searching for hundreds of years. Now that i found you, i wont loose you again. Not ever." he said and i stood there shocked of what i heard.

I'm Alexandria... WHAT?!

Lucian's/ Joshua's POV

Yes, i'm Lucian. The reason for the curse that caused all this mayhem. As i told Lexy-Luna-Alexandria my mate, i was used by Veronica. Veronica used me to have a pack, she made me reject the woman i truly love and the seed of our love. I swear, if i could go back in time, i would set things right.

I looked at Lexy in the eye and i saw a hint of Alexandria's self in her. They both were beautiful, smart, strong and a caring mother. I'm proud to call her my mate. I've been searching her for hundreds of years, i lived for hundreds of years in a world where she didnt exist but in this life time, i finally have her. And thank the goddess she was my mate.

"How sure are you i'm Alexandria?" Lexy asked still confused.

"When you were in your wolf form just a while ago, i felt a stronger pull toward you. Much stronger than normal mates." i responded slowly letting her go.

"That's it? you just felt a stronger pull?" she asked still not convinced.

"I can make you feel connected with her if that's what you want."

"Ho-" i didnt let her finish, i immediately crashed my lips to hers.

I've been waiting for a long time for this. Feeling her lips on mine, her skin, her touch. I could just eat her up. She started responding and i was in heaven. i licked her bottom lip and she grant me access making me smile. our tongue battled for dominance, and my tongue explored her mouth, i heard her moan and i kissed her deeper.

You might be wondering how a kiss would let her connect with Alexandria... well, it wont. i just want to kiss her but i really can make her connect with her. How?

By Marking her... or just call her name and she'll wake up by the voice of her mate.

But what's the fun in that, if you'll ask me... i rather mark her but i dont want to make her hate me so i'll let her choose but before that i need to tell her something.

As much as i want her lips on mine, i pulled away and i heard her whimper. i smiled knowing my Mate wanted me as i want her.

"Lexy, i know it's not a good time to tell you but Leaf is dangerous. Stay away from him."

Leaf is dangerous, i know it. When Jonathas said he recognized those red eyes, he was right and i know who it exactly belongs to. How stupid was i to not figure it out?! Now that i know he's here, i need to protect my mate and my pup.

Lexy's POV

"Why would i? Leaf is not dangerous." i responded.

Leaf was nothing close to dangerous. He's kind!

"Please Lexy, baby, he's dangerous. Promise me you'll stay away from him." he pleaded.

"I cant Joshua, i gave you both a chance. and i cant push him away just because you said so, i gave him a chance and i wont take my word back."

He sighed and nodded.

"Then it seems i'm in another fight for my mate. Good bye Lexy, i'm letting Jonathas take control." he said and gave me a peck before Jonathas quickly got the control back.

He looked at me and smiled. my legs felt jello again but i managed to stand. he quickly wrapped his arms around me and gave me a squeeze.

"I love you Lexy Moon and i will surely win your heart." he smiled and let me go.

"Oh really?" Leaf's voice suddenly popped out of nowhere and there he stood leaning on the tree.

"Leaf, how much have you heard?" i asked surprised.

"I just arrived since you've been gone for a while." he responded looking at me with such love and looked back at Jonathas with a sly smile.

"Is it a battle you want Jonathas? I'll give you war. I'll win Lexy's favor, i will have my mate." He added.

"You're on Leaf. May the best mate win." Jonathas smiled and i felt the tension between them.

Right in front of me, my two mates challenged each other for my heart. Should i be happy or nervous because it's ganna be hard to choose between them.

one is my childhood sweet heart whom i once and still love but not that much or the man who gave me a son, a new meaning of love and whom i'm staring to like?

Uh...

Why do i have to end up with 2 hot mates?
