Chapter 13: Knowing about Leaf.

(Lexy’s POV)

I was fixing breakfast for Lee and I and I haven’t seen Kace and the others, busy I guess. I cooked pancakes and placed them in front of Lee. He grabbed a fork and took a chunk full of it putting it in his mouth. I laughed at him. He’s not the cleanest person. I wiped the butter around his lips and ate some too.

“Lee, I have something for you.” I grabbed the necklace from my pocket and handed it to him.

“What’s this mowmmy?” he asked studying the necklace.

It was a silver moon necklace given to me by Leaf; he gave it to me on my 14th birth day. I kept it with me since then. We were already together that time and I could still recall him say

“... Where ever you go, take this with you and I’ll always be with you. No matter where you are, just hold on to this and call my name, I’ll surely come for you.”

It was like yesterday he told me that, but let’s face it. He’s not coming back. I tried what he told me to do, I called his name but he didn’t come. I want Lee to have it.

“It’s given to me by Daddy Leaf.” I smiled.

“Dawddy?” he smiled excitedly and wore it proudly.

Lexy, tell him about Jonathas already! Luna growled.

Never, you know what he did yesterday, he was making out with that Mia! And what do you want me to tell my son? That his so called father is making out with someone?!

At least tell him the truth!

Luna, please for once let’s not debate on this anymore, I know what I’m doing.

She sighed.

Okay, but don’t tell me I didn’t warn you if you’ll regret telling Lee about the truth. She warned and disappeared..

“Well it seems Lexy and Lee is early today.” Dad said entering the room with mom by his side, snapping me back to reality.

“Gwrandma, Gwrandpa!” Lee smiled and ran to them.

“Good morning Lee.” Mom smiled as Dad carried him.

“Lowok what Mommy gawve mwe.” Lee smiled proudly showing them the necklace I gave him.

“Your mom did huh?” dad asked.

“Yup, mommy said Dawddy gave it tow her.” He added.

Mom and Dad stiffed and looked at me shocked. I gave them a weak smile which slowly faded.

Lexy, why have you told Lee that his father’s Leaf? Dad asked through the mind link.

It’s nothing dad, he kept asking so I told him his father is Leaf. I responded.

Which reminds me, who is Lee’s father? You’ve been avoiding this question for the last 4 years. Mom asked.

It’s true. I never told any of them especially Oliver, but I told my friends about Jonathas. Maybe it is time to tell them the truth.

Jonathas, Lee’s father is Alpha Jonathas.

Then, they stayed silent.

Dad put Lee down and marched going out. This isn’t good. I stood up and followed dad, I looked at mom and she grabbed Lee’s hand and went out. I followed dad and saw him hit Jonathas in the face. They were surrounded with both mine and Jonathas’ pack members now. I ran toward the crowd and pushed myself in. I went between them,

“Stop!” I shouted.

They stopped and dad was still mad.

“Lexy, move.” Dad ordered.

“No. Dad, this is my problem. I can handle it myself.” I said.

Dad looked at me then to Jonathas, who was on the ground then back at me, he sighed and nodded.

“Jonathas,” dad spoke.

“Just because you’re my grandson’s father, that doesn’t mean that I’m accepting you for my daughter.” He added and pushed himself out the crowd.

They started buzzing.

“Okay people, go back. Nothing to see here.” I said and they walked away still buzzing though.

I looked at Jonathas and he stood up. He has a bruise on his face. I grabbed his hand and pulled him going inside. The sparks were driving my wolf crazy; it was making me feel weak. As we were walking in, I could feel eyes on us and Jonathas was happy with the attention they were giving us.

We made it to my room. I closed the door and he sat on my bed. His smile grew; damn he’s so attractive when he does that. Wait! Focus Lexy, you’re mad at him! I grabbed an ice bag and used my ability to use ice, and placed an ice inside the ice bag.

You might be wondering how I had ability like Oliver, well because I haven’t mated yet. You see, if a member of the Lime stone pack hasn’t found his mate yet, he will have the ability of his mate but if they mate, his ability will be transferred to his mate. As for my case with Jonathas, we made love before we shifted so it didn’t count. And he still doesn’t know about it, and I plan to keep it that way. What if he knows and all he wants is the power!

I went back to Jonathas and I gave him the ice bag.

“Here.” I said.

He smiled and accepted it.

“So is it clear now? My dad doesn’t want you and my brother clearly wont, so you better stop and leave me and my son alone before someone gets hurt.” I said.

“Why would I?” He asked with a bit of a growl.

“No one’s good enough other than me to be with you and Lee.” He added.

“That’s where you’re wrong Jonathas, I met a lot of guys and they would really fit the father material for Lee and my ideal type for a mate.” I said and he growled.

“And who’s that?” he asked gritting his teeth.

“There’s this guy, Tyler from the Night pack, and Knight from the Moon pack-”

“Like Leaf?” he asked cutting me off.

I stared shock at what he said. I stiffed, how did he know about Leaf!

“This discussion is over.” I said, I twisted the door knob but stopped.

“So where’s this Leaf guy? Hiding? Did I scare him off? I bet he’s a wimpy-” I cut him off.

I can’t let him talk about Leaf like him.

“DON'T TALK ABOUT LEAF LIKE YOU KNOW HIM! HE’S 10 TIMES THE MAN YOU ARE AND 10 TIMES BETTER THAN YOU! HE’S THE ONLY MAN WHO KNOWS THE REAL ME AND THE ONLY MAN I LOVE, IF LEAF WAS HERE, HE’LL SHOW YOU HOW A REAL MATE SHOULD ACT! IF HE WAS ALIVE, I WOULD BE HAPPY! YOU DON'T KNOW A THING ABOUT HIM, SO DON'T YOU DARE COMPARE YOURSELF TO A MAN LIKE HIM!” I shouted and twisted the door knob.

“You know, I would even wish he was my mate rather than you.” I added and went out banging the door shut.

He’s nothing compared to him Jonathas, he’s nothing like him. One thing he’ll always have and Jonathas will never have is my heart and my love. I don’t care if he’s my mate, he raped me... he’s my mate, hell no! He’s not acting like a mate!

(Jonathas’s POV)

“You know, I would even wish he was my mate rather than you.” She added and went out banging the door shut.

A dozen of daggers hit me, no more than that. My heart broke at what she told me, she rather want that Leaf person than me, HER MATE! ME! Over HIM! If I knew that Leaf guy was dead I wouldn’t have brought him up.

Great Jonathas, I never thought our mate’s anger on us would ever get worst but it did.... she’s freakin’ mad at us! Joshua growled inside me.

How would I know this Leaf was dead?!

You could have made another way to know about him, you could have asked anyone from her family!

Hello... her family hates us.

No, they hate you, not me, you. If I could I would take over your body and make her mine. I would do anything to make her happy which you aren’t doing!

I’m doing the best I can to make her forgive me! I even asked Jacob for help remember.

3 days Jonathas, I’ll give you 3 days and if she hasn’t forgiven you yet, I’ll forcefully bring myself out and take over your body. Remember about the full moon coming Jonathas, it’s a week from now. You know what will happen during that night.

Of course I know... I’ll make her mine before the full moon comes.

Make sure of it.

Then he faded. I’ll make her forgive me before the full moon. I’ll do everything to make her forgive me, because if she won’t... I might not be able to make her love me after the next full moon. Okay Jonathas let’s do this;

1. Make Lexy forgive you.

2. Make Lee not be afraid of you.

3. Tell her the truth.

Okay... I’m ganna do it. I’ll explain to her everything, if I have to tell her about my dark past just to make her forgive me then I will. I got on my feet and looked for her.
