Chapter 8: I nearly killed my own son.
(Lexy’s POV)
Leaf Moon
Birth: September 12, 2008
Death: September 12, 2008
“A brave baby boy who gave up his life for his brother.”
I placed the white roses on my son’s marble grave stone and just smiled at him.
“Happy 3rd birthday Leaf.” I greeted him.
It’s been 4 years since I gave birth, the day I had a gift from heaven. The day I lost a son, but had one alive. for the first month i was just so depresed, i lost one of my pup and i didnt even do anything. they tried to cheer me up but only my first baby boy can. He's the only one who made me smile. He was my pup, my angel and i would do anything to make him happy and safe.
“Mommy!” an angelic voice called and as I turned around, my baby boy already wrapped his tiny arms around my leg.
“Mommy!” Lee smiled.
“Hey baby.” I smiled as I carried him in my arms.
“Is Leaf hawppy?” he asked.
“Yes baby, Leaf is happy for you.” I responded.
“Hawppy Bewthday Leaf.” He greeted looking at his brother’s grave.
I named my pups after Leaf, in remembering our memories together. Even if Jonathas’ their father, I don’t care. He never loved me not like Leaf did. Lee has my light brown eyes and black wavy hair.
I smiled at the little bundle of joy in my arms, I regretted trying to kill myself while I have them in my womb, how could i think of killing such a precious gift?!
“Mommy, can I go in the woods for a while?” he asked.
“Why baby?” he always asks to go in the woods, I don’t know why though.
“I wanna see someone.” He responded.
Oh... his imaginary friend. he's been telling us about a wolf he meet in the woods who saved him and i believed no one can pass my territory without my patrol wolves guarding 24/7.

“Okay but be back soon okay? We need to meet the Alpha.” I kissed him on his forehead and let him go as he ran in the woods.
“Such a spirited child.” Dad spoke as he walked near me.
“Just like me.” I nodded.
(Jonathas’ POV)
“Jonathas, we need to go.” My beta, Luke called.
I nodded and sighed as I stepped foot in Australia. My pack was attacked by rogues last night, we were taken by surprise and half of my pack died, including my parents, good thing me and my brother survived. We came in Australia to join the strongest pack, the Lime stone pack. I never wanted to join them; I was forced to join them because we are too injured to fight another pack of rogues.
“Jonathas babe, let’s go.” Mia’s high pitch voice called as she wrapped her hand around mine.
She’s my girlfriend, but not my mate. Why did I put up with her? I don’t know. For enjoyment I think. Look, I’m a guy and guys need enjoyment sometimes. I haven’t found my mate yet, I don’t know why. They say your soul mate is somewhere out there but I bet mine got hit by a truck. Please let it not be true.
It’s been 4 years since I’ve shifted yet I haven’t found her yet. Look, I’m not that bad for a mate, I can just leave Mia for my mate, she can accept that... I think, i can change. They started to shift and I shifted to my big black wolf. We went in the woods and Luke led the way, we were nearly there when I saw a little boy running in the woods. For some reason, I wanted to run after him. I stopped and I instructed them to go first.
I followed the boy and I saw him sitting on a huge rood of a big old tree. I approached him and he looked at me with curiosity.
“You’re not wolffy.” He said with an adorable voice.

He has a beautiful, familiar light brown eyes and a wavy black hair. He looked like me when I was a pup.
That’s our son! My wolf, Joshua spoke with rejoices in his voice.
No! I can’t have a son! My mate will hate me if she knows, she’ll reject me! I can’t live knowing my mate might reject me. One thing to do, kill my own son. My wolf was growling at me, I’m sorry but if taking out my own son will not make my mate reject me then I have to.
I’m so sorry son.
I growled at him, he gave out a cry and tears fell from his eyes.
“Mommy!” he shouted crying.
I wanted to stop and just comfort him like a father would but I just pushed away my emotions and walked toward him like a predator, every step I took, my heart was aching. I was about to kill my own son, my own flesh and blood! then, when I was about a step away from him, flames surrounded me. As I take a step closer to him, the flame grew bigger.
“Don't you dare lay a hand on my son pup!” an authoritative and angelic voice spoke.
I looked to where it’s coming from and my eyes landed on a goddess. She had a perfect body, perfect curves, fair skin, long red hair and light brown eyes.... wait... its LEXY! I sniffed the air and the most exotic smell hit me, roses and vanilla.
Mate! Joshua spoke.
“Mommy!” the little boy smiled but still was crying and he ran to Lexy who was smiling at him.
Damn, she was beautiful! She carried the little boy in her arms and looked at him with such love. But when her gaze went to me, she looked at me coldly.
“You’ll regret trying to hurt my pup.” She growled and a fire ball appeared out of nowhere.
The fire ball flew to my direction and when it nearly hit my head, a guy’s voice spoke.
“Stop!” He commanded.
I looked at the fire ball and it stopped right in front of me.
“Steve, Give me one reason why I shouldn’t burn him?” she snarled.
“He’s the Alpha, he’s Alpha Jonathas King.” The guy responded who had brown hair.
“J-Jonathas?” Lexy asked with wide eyes.
I nodded and the fire disappeared. The guy threw me a shirt and a basketball shorts. I grabbed it with my mouth and changed back in human form behind a tree. I woke the clothes and went to face my family.
“Alpha Jonathas, this is Lexy, the-” The Lexy cut him off and turned around.
“I need to go calm Lee, you take Alpha Jonathas in the pack house.” She said and walked away before I could say a word.
I watched her and Lee disappear in the forest, right in front of me, I let them go without a word. I wanted to run after them, explain and tell them I love them yet we just met... well, Lee and I just met but you know what I mean. I stopped my wolf and took deep breaths; maybe I can talk to them later. I looked back at Steve and there was something in his eyes that I can’t point out.
“Who’s Lee?” I asked the guy, Steve.
“Oh, that’s her son.” He responded.
SON?! We have a son?! How come she never told me about this?! There are 3 things I’m worried about now.
One, Lexy’s my Mate.
Two, we have a son.
Tree, I almost killed my son.
Great, now I’m the number one enemy of my mate and son. What a happy day... (Note the sarcasm.) Now what am I ganna do? What am I ganna do if my own family despises me.
