May's P.O.V
(3 months later)
I've now been at the pack for a while and I feel like a part of it. Everyone is so welcoming and I've made heaps of new friends. Aidan kept his word and we've visited my family as much as possible. Raya and I got even closer and she is amazing.
"Babe?" Aidan asks, waving a hand in front of my face.
"Yea?" I ask.
"You should go change. We'll leave for our date as soon as your ready." He says. I nod and head into the bathroom to change and do my hair and make up.
I pull on my clothes and my accessories and do my hair and make up. While I'm doing my makeup I think about how strange Aidan has been acting lately. He's been nervous a lot. Fidgety and can hardly focus sometimes. And sometimes his mind just goes to a completely different world so he's staring in to space for longer then usual.
I slip on my shoes and walk out to find Aidan waiting.
"You look great." He says, pecking me on the cheek.
"Thanks. Let's go." I say, taking his hand.
He leads me out to his car.
"Before we go put this on. It's a blindfold." He says, handing me a piece of black cloth. I furrow my eyebrows before following his instructions and putting it on.
The drive feels like a long time but that's probably just because I can't see. The one thing I do know is that Aidan is very nervous about something. I can feel the nervousness rolling off him in waves even without the mate bond.
"Are we almost there?" I ask him.
"Almost." He says.
We drive for about another ten minutes then the car stops. I hear Aidan get out and then hear my door open. Aidan helps me get out and leads the way, insisting the blindfold stays on.

After a while of walking he stops and I feel him disappear from my side.
"Okay. Take the blind fold off." He says. I do and see him standing in front of a white clothed table with food on it. Not to mention all of this is set up on the beach.
"Aidan this is beautiful!" I say, sitting down on one of the chairs. He smiles but still looks a little nervous. We dig into our food which is delicious. After dinner there's a dessert and then we decide to go for a wander on the beach.
I slip off my shoes and Aidan does the same. He rolls up the bottom of his pants and we walk along the beach just close enough to the water that it pools around our feet.
We stop once and carve our names into the sand. We take a picture of our carvings before continuing our treck down the beach.
I see something on the sand in the distance and as we get closer I see that it's a heart made of rose petals.
"Look at that." I say to Aidan, pointing to the heart.
To my surprise he slips away from my side and stands in the middle of the heart.
"What's going on Aidan?" I ask him.
"All night I've been working up the courage to do this and I think now is as good a time as any." He says.
"Aidan what are you talking about?" I ask him.
"May. I haven't known you for long. And we've had a strange relationship. Not that I expected a normal one since we're werewolves." He says.
This part makes me laugh.
"But in the short time I've known you I've come to realise that the Moon Goddess is a complete genius because she paired me with the most incredible, smart and beautiful mate in the entire world. And believe me when I say I will be eternally grateful. I don't think I could ever live without you. I don't think I ever want to even think about what my life would have been like if I didn't go to that party. But I know that the best times in my life have been with you. I've fallen for you. Hard. I want to continue loving you a little more everyday and I want to show you everyday just how much you mean to me. So May. Would you do me the honour marrying me?" He asks, getting down on one knee and pulling out a ring box.

I gasp and tears come to my eyes.
"Aidan. I would be the happiest person alive if I got to marry you. So yes. Yes I'll marry you." I say, smiling more then I have ever smiled in my life.
Aidan stands up and slips the beautiful diamond ring on my finger then lifts me up and spins me around. When he puts me down I kiss him passionately on the lips.
"I love you so much. You have no idea how much I love you." He says with a hand on either side of my face, staring me straight in the eye.
"However much it is. Double it and that's how much I love you." I tell him, smiling and touching his face lightly.
He grins when I say this and we decide to start walking back to the car.
"So how did I do with the proposal out of ten?" He asks, his arm around my shoulders.
"I'd give you a solid million." I say, making him grin even more.
"I'll love you forever. You know that?" Aidan says.
"Forever sounds perfect." I say back.
