Aidan's P.O.V

As we watch the movie I notice that May has been silent for a while.

I look down at her and notice she is sleeping. I can't help but watch her sleep. I swear it's not as creepy as it sounds. Her face is beautiful. Almost vulnerable while she sleeps.

I say vulnerable because when she is awake she is nothing of the sort. Her smile is bright but there is something in her eyes that makes her seem like she's not someone to mess with. I admit that she makes me proud. My mate is a tough one.

I slowly sit up, making sure not to wake her. I then pick her up bridal style and carry her over to the bed. I lay her down and slip of her shoes then tuck her in.

I then walk over to my bag and out of it slip on my sweatpants and put my clothes back in my bag.

I head in to the bathroom and brush my teeth and decide to just leave my toothbrush in the bathroom.

I walk back in to the room and climb in to bed. I pull the sheets up and snuggle down. When I'm comfortable I wrap my arm around her waist and carefully pull her over to me.

She snuggles in to my chest and I look down to see that she is still asleep. I smile and fall into a comfortable sleep.

*In the morning*

I wake up to someone nudging me lightly.

I slowly open my eyes to find my mate's beautiful face just inches from mine.

I pull her down and kiss her.

She pulls away and smiles at me.

"I was nudging to so you would get your lazy ass out of bed. But I admit that wasn't bad either." She says.

"I'll get up if you kiss me again." I tell her smirking.

"I'll kiss you if you catch me." She says returning my smirk.

With that she jumps up.

I jump out of bed too and catch her by wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Now how about that kiss?" I ask.

"Not until you are changed." She says smirking again.

I sigh but grab my bag and head in to the bathroom with my bag over my shoulder.

Our mate is devious. My wolf comments.

"She is something." I mumble while stripping of and hopping in to the shower.

When I'm done I dry off with one of the big fluffy towels and pull on light brown chinos and a white shirt.

I head out of the bathroom to find May waiting with a small bundle of clothes in her arms.

"Finally you're done!" She says pushing past me.

I roll my eyes and walk over to sit on her bed.

I pull out my phone and see that there is 2 missed calls from my mum. I call her back.

"Hey mum." I say.

"Hey sweety. I have been calling you." She says.

"Yea I just saw that. What's up?"

"I just wanted to tell you that we will be staying for an extra week so I have time to catch up with Bella. I hope you have enough clothes." She tells me.

"I think I can manage. Worst comes to worst I find a washing machine." I hear the shower turn off in the bathroom.

"Ok sweetheart. Bella and I are out for the day."

"Ok mum enjoy yourselves. I'll talk to you later."

"Ok. I love you. Bye."

"Love you too." I say then I hang up.

I then play some games on my phone and about 5 minutes later May emerges. And may (ignore the pun) I say she looks breath taking.

As usual. My wolf points out.

She's wearing a blue and black dress with 3/4 sleeves and a lowish neckline and stops about mid thigh. It hugs her perfect figure even more because of the black belt.

I stare at her for a while then finally manage to stammer out: "You look beautiful."

As usual when I make this comment a faint dusting of pink appears on her cheeks.

She walks over to her wardrobe and pulls out a pair of black gladiators then grabs my hand and drags me down the stairs.

We walk in to the kitchen to find that our mum's have cooked up a huge breakfast for the pack.

We both pile pancakes and bacon on our plates and sit up at the bench.

We both devour our food and load our plates and cutlary in to the dishwasher.

"So what do you feel like doing today?" May asks me as she leads me in to the living room and on to the couch.

We sit down and I pull May over so she's sitting on my lap.

"I don't mind. What would you like to do?" I ask her.

"Ummmm. I don't know. We could go to the park or the beach. I don't mind." She says shrugging.

"Want to go to the movies?" I ask.

"Yea sure. What do you want to see?"

"The Maze Runner?" (A/N I know this movie is out of cinemas.)

"Yes please I have been dying to see that!" She says.

"Sweet. Do you want to go tonight or now?" I ask.

"Ummm. We could go tonight and go for a walk around town?" She suggests.

"Sure sounds good. I need to grab some shoes though." I tell her.

"I need to grab my bag." She tells me.

I grab her hand and together we walk up the stairs and into her room.

I pull on a pair of white vans and May grabs a black handbag.

She puts in her wallet, phone and lip balm then grabs my hand and drags me down the stairs.

We walk outside and start walking down the road and in hand.

After what seems like not a long time (probably because May is with me) we arrive in the center of the city.

As we walk a few guys wolf wistle at May.

I was very tempted to rip all of their heads off but May just lays her hand on my back and moves in in small calming circles.

I take a deep breath and keep walking.

A few minutes later a group of girls come over and start flirting with me and trying to get closer to me. Werewolves too.

May makes a low growl that only I could hear.

I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her close then kiss the top of her head.

The girls all glare at her and whisper to each other then smirk.

One of them pulls me away from May and drags me off behind a shop.

I stare at her shocked and to shock me even more she kisses me and forces me to wrap my arms around her. I try to pull away but she digs her nails in to my arms.

I hear a gasp and pull away to see May standing there looking at me with an open mouth.

A split second later her face turns blank. The shock and pain that was obvious is now gone. The only thing I see is a blank face.

She calmly walks over and picks the girl up by her collar.

"Katarina I think it is best that you keep you hand and your lips let alone any other part of your body off of my mate. That is if you want to keep them. If not keep going the way you're going." She says in a deadly calm voice.

"I think not May" she says putting as much venom in her voice when she says May's name as she can. "I'll do what I want."

"If you want to stay in the pack, the country and this life then I suggest you back off." She says letting her Luna voice seep in at the end.

The girl bows her head, smirks and walks away.

May is breathing heavily. I can tell she's absolutley pissed.

"May." I say cautiously.

"What?" She snaps, her eyes are pitch black.

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breaths through her nose.

When she opens her eyes they are their normal colour but I can still see a little anger in her eyes.

"What?" She says more calmly.

"Are you ok?" I say calmly.

She takes another deep breath before saying.

"I'm just fine." She says. The problem is it just sounds like an automatic response.

I slowly walk over and wrap my arms around her.

She stays still for a while before wrapping her arms around me and burrying her face is my chest.

I breathe out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding.

We stay like this for a while then walk back around the corner and back in to the middle of town. I keep one arm wrapped around May's waist while we walk.

They girls we saw earlier are staring at us with surprised expressions.I guess they didn't believe that May and I would still be together.

I smirk at them and lead May away.

We walk around for a while with no purpose then decide to go to a small cafe for lunch.

We share a bowl of chips. May gets a lemon lime and bitters and I get a rasberry and diet coke.

"Feeling better?" I ask after we finish our chips and drinks.

"Much, thank you." She says smiling.

"I however learnt a very good life lesson today." I say.

"And what, may is ask, I that?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"That I should never (not that I would) cross you or cheat on you." I say.

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." May says smiling.

"I finally fully understand what that means." I say, chuckling.

May laughs at me and hops up to pay.

"Yea, no. You are not paying." I say getting up to.

"Of course I am." She says.

"No you're not. I owe you for not breaking that girls neck."

She rolls her eyes.

"I wouldn't have broken her neck."

"And yet I'm still going to pay."

I walk past her and straight to the counter.

"Hi can I help you?" A middle-aged woman asks from the counter.

"I would like to pay or table number 6." I tell her.

She looks over my shoulder at May.

"May how are you?" She asks smiling at her.

"I'm good thank you Rosland. Oh Rosland this is my mate Aidan. Aidan this is my Aunty Rosland."

Rosland smiles at me then turns back to May.

"Aunt Rosland could you do me a favour?" May asks.

"Of course."

May walks around the counter and whisper something in Rosland's ear that's so low that even I can't hear. Rosland nods and turns back to the register. She types something in then nods to May again.

May hugs her tight then kisses her cheek.

"You are my savour. I owe you." She says.

"Oh no way. This can be payment for that late night babysitting for me." Rosland says.

"Well that works perfectly. Oh and we should have dinner. Marylin is coming for dinner some time too."

"Oh that would be fabulous. I feel like I haven't seen Marylin in forever."

"She misses you too. Anyway. We should go Aidan." She says looking at me then looks at Rosland. "I'll come visit soon I promise."

"You better. I will hold you to that."

"I know." May says winking at her.

May walks back around the counter and I wrap my arm around her waist when she reaches me.

"Aww. You too are so cute!" Rosland says smiling at us.

I smile and kiss the top of Mays head.

"Bye Aunt Rosland. Love you." May says as she leads me from the cafe.

"Love you too. Nice to meet you Aidan." She says.

"You too." I say as we walk out the door.

We walk around and decide to head to the park which is empty.

May and I sit on the swings and swing slowly.

"So who is this Katarina person?" I casually ask May.

"One of the girls in my pack. Always trying to get Josh to mate her. Then on the side tries to ruin my life. Everytime I showed interest in a guy she would make them go out with her and loose interest in me or make me look pathetic to them."

"Did it work?" I ask

"Well that is a funny question. I didn't work because I never really showed interest in guys. I only liked them as friends. Then she would try to humiliate me. You know throw drinks at me and stuff like that. It backfired because I had better reflexes then her. I always tipped the cup the other way just in time to spill it on her. Or when she tried to push me in the pool I always managed to use her as something to hold me up on then push her in."

"I'm really not surprised. She seemed to be pretty slow." I say.

She laughs.

"You have no idea."

Hey guys. Sorry about the slow updates. Started school again and having to get in to new timetable and stuff. Going to try and get back in to a habit of updating heaps. It would be really helpful if you guys could comment. Constructive criticism or just telling me what you like. All of it would be appreciated. Thanks x
