Aidan's P.O.V

I wake up with May in my arms.

She's still asleep so I slide out of bed and head to the bathroom for a shower.

Once I finished I pull on a pair of black jeans and a blue shirt.

I walk out of the bathroom and over to the bed.

"May." I nudge her lightly.

Her eyes open and as if automatically, she smiles her dazzling smile.

"Good morning." She says in a sort of scratchy voice.

"Good morning beautiful" a faint dusting of red appears on her cheeks.

I chuckle and kiss her forehead.

"Come on you should get up." I tell her.

"Why? What are we up to today?" She asks.

"Not sure yet. Just wear something nice. We might go to the park." I say.

"Ok wait here." She says, planting a kiss on my cheek.

She slides out of bed and walk in to the closet, closing the door behind her.

A few minutes later she walks out wearing denim shorts and a strippy tank top.

"Looking beautiful as usual."

She laught. "Thanks."

I grab her hand and together we walk down the stairs.

"Okay it's my turn to make breakfast this morning." I say pulling out the ingrediants for scrambled eggs on toast.

"Fine but I'll make the coffee." She tells me.

"Ok." I shake up the milk and the eggs and pour it in to the pan.

While I stir the eggs in the frying pan May makes two fresh hot cups of coffee.

She puts them on the table where it is set up for two people.

When the eggs are done the toast has popped so I dish it up.

I then take the plates to the table and grab knives and forks.

Soon after we dig in to out warm eggs and coffee.

While we eat we laugh and joke around.

I realised that May is actually quite funny. Which didn't actually surprise me.

When were done May puts the plates, pans, knives and forks and cups in the dishwasher.

"Okay I say we head to the park with a picnic for the day then come back and watch a movie. What do you think?" She asks.

"Sound perfect. We should start making out picnic then."

May finds a picnic basket and blanket.

Together we put sandwiches, biscuits, rice crackers, fruit (mostly strawberries) and two bottles of lemonade (small bottles).

We both grab shoes then walk out to the garden, through the curtain of ivy and in to the clearing with the seat.

We lay out the blanket and put the picnic basket on it.

For a while I lay on the ground with May above me on the porch swing.

"I'll move over so you can lay up here." May shifts over and I sit down and she puts her head on my lap.

She take one of my hands and plays with my fingers while I use my other hand to stroke her hair.

"Can we have some food?" I whisper after 1 hour of sitting quietly.

She chuckles.

"Of course."

We sit down on the blanket and open the picnic basket.

I take a sandwich and May opens a packet of rice crackers.

"Mmhmm your sandwiches are so good. Try it." I say.

I offer her the sandwich and she takes a bite.

"Ok I admit. It is really good." She says after finishing her mouthful.

"It is. I so told you." I say smiling at her.

"You did." She says, nodding.

"I am the master of sandwiches." I say, puffing out my chest jokingly.

"I love how you say that when it was actually me who made the 'amazing sandwich'. " She says, laughing slightly.

"And that is why I love you. You make killer sandwiches and talk no bullshit." I say, smiling,

I lean over and kiss her cheek.

She rolls her eyes and grabs a strawberry.

"Can I have a bite." I fake pout.

She rolls her eyes again and offers me the strawberry.

I take a big bite.

"Hey." She pouts.

"Sorry but it just looked so nice." I tell her.

"You owe me a strawberry." She says, wiggling her finger at me.

I grab out 2 strawberry's and give them both to her.

"Am I forgiven?" I ask.

"Yes you are forgiven." She says.

I kiss her and pull her over so she's sitting on my lap.

She grabs out a bottle of lemonade and takes a sip then offers the bottle to me.

"Thanks." I say and take a sip.

For a while we sit and make small talk then May pulls out her book and reads.

"Read to me?" I ask.

She again rolls her eyes but reads to me anyway.

She's actually really good at reading outloud and seems to be really enjoying the book.
