Ava's P.O.V

Oh my gosh they are so cute.

I'm watching May and Aidan. I know it's sounds super creepy but he's my boy and she's his mate.

They're out in the water together. Aidan has his arms around her waist and hers around his neck.

They're smiling and laughing. Aidan leans down and kisses her.

"Mummy?" Nate asks.

"Yes sweetheart" I look down at him.

"What's Aidan doing to May?" He asks me.

Crap. I should have seen this coming. Oh well I guess I'll tell the truth.

"They're kissing." I tell him honestly

"What's that?" He asks.

"It's like when I do this." I lean down and kiss his forehead.

"Oh ok." He says, nodding.

He moves off my lap and goes to sit on Devon's.

"They are so cute together." I look over at Bella and see she's looking at May and Aidan.

"They are." I say.

I turn back to look at them and see they have their foreheads resting on each others.

After a while they come back to the beach.

May lays down on her towel and Aidan lays down with his head on her stomach with his feet of to the side.

She strokes his head and he closes his eyes.

"So cute." I hear Bella whisper.

May closes her eyes but continues stroking his hair.

"Thank goddess May gets some kind of title." Bella says.

"What do you mean?" I ask

"Well since she's younger then Josh she couldn't get the alpha position and she told Josh not to choose her at beta or third in command."

"Why?" I ask her.

"I didn't know then but I think I know now. She could tell her Mate was high ranking. So she decided she would wait to meet him." She says, looking at them and smiling.

"That's so sweet. I think Aidan had the same sort of thing. I mean his father was alway telling him to just pick a Luna out of the girls in out pack. But I think Aidan knew he was going to see her soon and she would be worth the wait. And from the look in his eyes when he looks at her. She is most defiantly worth the wait." I say, smiling at them too.

"I'm so glad my girl has your son. They are perfect together plus it gives us an excuse to come together as packs more often." Bella says.

I smile at the thought.

"I'm just so glad he has found her at last. He alway wanted to find his mate. Since I first told him about it. He was 11. He asked me how I knew I loved his dad. I told him "because we were mates" he asked me what mates were and I told him. They are your other half blah blah blah. When I finished explaining he say "mum I want to find my mate. I want to find my other half. I want to be complete. I want to be so in love that I forget my own name" and that's when I knew that when he found her he would never let her go." I tell her. That's my favourite story of Aidan from when he was a child.

"Ahh. May's story is similar." Bella tells me.

"Oooo tell me." I say, turning to look at her.

"Well. She was 10 and she asked me about mates she said she had heard someone talking about them and wanted to know what the are. So I told her. There the person we are made to be with and love us forever. You know. And she asked if her dad and I were mates. I said yes and she said "mum why would I want to pin my whole life to a guy that I don't even know and the moon goddess chose randomly for me?" I said that the moon goddess doesn't choose randomly. She hand picks the person best for you. And that being with your mate doesn't feel like being forced in to a relationship with someone you don't know. That it's about being whole and happy and loved by one man. And loving him no matter what. So she turned to me with her serious 10 year old eyes and said "I want someone to love me no matter what. To make me feel whole and happy. And not ever want to leave me" when she said this I knew she was going to have an amazing mate. And she was going to love him no matter what." Bella says, smiling at the memory.

"Well that right there is one sign they were made for each other. We told them in the same year. I think I told him on the 5th of July. He just brought it up out of the blue."

"No way that's impossible." Bella says.

"What is?" I ask.

"I told May on July 5th. I remember because July 5th is her birthday. I asked her why she asked and she said she felt like she should." She says, chuckling slightly.

"Aidan said the same thing." I say.

"Wow. They really were made for each other." She says, smiling brightly.
