Aidan's P.O.V

I am an idiot. I can't believe I dropped her in the water without telling her. Because right now May is coughing and spluttering up water and you could say I'm freaking out.

I hear her coughing slow down until it comes to a complete stop. She takes deep breathes.

"Are you ok. I am so so so sorry!" I say quickly.

She places her hand on my face and forces me to look at her.

"I'm fine. I just breathed in a little water" she says.

"Oh thank goddess," I say hugging her tightly and burying my face in her hair.

She giggles softly. She takes a step back which makes my heartbeat pick up.

She strokes my cheek then turns and dives in to the water smoothly. I smile as she pops up a few metres closer to the beach. I laugh and dive in and pop up in front of her. She smiles and I wrap my arms around her waist.

I lean down and kiss her. My wolf is howling in pleasure. We both pull away catching out breath.

We walk hand and hand back to the beach and May lays down on her towel I sit down close to her and she lays her head on my lap and dries her hands on the towel. Out of her bag she pulls out a book then lays her head back on my lap. She opens her book and starts reading. I smile looking down at her.

We sit like this in silence for about 20 minutes before we decide to get up and set some food. We go in to a small diner and order a plate of fries.

It doesn't take long for the fries to come. They were delivered by a young man. He looked about our age. Like us he was a werewolf.

He delivers the food and puts down napkins beside them. He winks at May and smiles. I growl at him and he just smirks.

He walks away and May picks up her napkin ad turns it over.

She rolls her eyes and hands it to me.

Sprawled on the back it has a phone number and says the name Corban.

I growl and stand up.

"Aidan just ignore it. If he comes over I will talk to him" May says to me.

I just growl. So she continues and stands up.

"Your wolf is in control. If you kill him, which you would if I let you go, then you would make a scene in front of the humans. Plus you know I wouldn't like if you killed someone." She says placing her hand on my face.

I close my eyes and take deep breaths. I pull her in to my arms to help calm my wolf down.

After a while I manage to control him enough to sit back at my seat.

May takes a seat beside me rather then opposite. She must sense that I'm still on edge.

We finish our fries and much to May's annoyance I payed for it. we head out and May makes a point to leave the napkin in plain view on the table so that he will see it.

I laugh silently as wrap my arm around her waist as we walk out.

"Alright. Where to next?" I ask her.

"I was thinking we could go to the mall. There's a book shop there I want to look through."

"Promise I don't have to sit in a shop for an hour?"

"I promise" she says giggling.
