May's P.O.V

Dad and Aidan are gone for about 10 minutes. The look on Aidan's face has me sinking to my knees with laughter. Quite literally.

After a few minutes I look up to see then both looking at me confused. But that just sets me off laughing again.

I finally get control of myself and stand up. I take a deep breath and look at them both.

"Sorry" I say smiling, thinking that dad told him to look scared.

"It's alright sweetheart." Dad replies. While dad says this Aidan moves so he is standing beside me and slides his arm around my waist. My dad gives him a look and Aidan quickly takes his arm back and steps away from me.

"Dad." I growl grabbing Aidan's hand and pull him back to my side, placing his arm around my waist again. Because the moment dad sent that look and Aidan moved away from me it was easy to guess some of the things dad had said to him.

If looks could kill my dad would be 6 feet under several times over right now. He notices this and leaves immediately sending me an apologetic look.

"Sorry about that my dad, he's very........protective." I tell Aidan

"No kidding" he replies. I can tell he is still taking what my dad said seriously so I come up with an idea.

"Come with me" I tell Aidan grabbing his hand and leading him out of the room and down the hallway. Then up 2 flights of stairs and open the door to my room. I go in first with Aidan's hand still in mine.

I let go of his hand and he goes over to sit on the couch while I walk over to my large DVD collection.

"So what do you want to watch?" I ask Aidan.

"Pick your favourite movie series and we'll watch that." Aidan replies.

I grin and grab my Lord Of The Rings extended edition box set.

I turn on my TV and put the first disk in the DVD player. I grab the remote and take a seat next to Aidan. I am almost immediately pulled towards Aidan. I end up with him leaning his back against the side of the couch with his legs up resting on the couch too (took his shoes off) and me lying on him with my head on his lap and my feet (I did kick of my shoes) touching the other end of the couch. We sit and wait for the movie to start.
