You never told anyone about this before. The incident that changed your life forever. The only person that knows was Mika, and only because you weren't showing up to classes. When she found you in the hospital she broke down into tears, along with your mom.
I hated seeing my loved ones pain, I feel like a burden to them.
"It's been taking anti-depressants for two years now." you murmured
"That long huh."
"Yeah, I was scarred for life I had to drop out of my last year of middle school. I was eventually homeschooled for a whole year fortunately, my mom is a high school teacher and caught me up. Also Mika visited me everyday after school to give extra notes. A whole year of physiotherapy, psychiatrists and a speech pathologist. The whole treatment."
"Speech pathologist?"
"Yeah, I lost the ability to talk at one point."
"So, back there earlier at the volleyball court..."
"My PTSD episodes are triggered by loud noises or things that remind me of the accident li-."
"Like volleyball" he finished your sentence.
"Yeah..." you nodded. "When the episodes happen I lose control of my body and I can't make-up any words. It feels like someone is sitting on my chest and I can't breathe"
You lift up your sleeve on your right arm, revealing a scar running from your shoulder to your elbow.
"After dropping out from school, it broke me that I couldn't play volleyball anymore."
You traced the length of your scar and murmur,
"Losing everything you love and feeling lost. I was stuck like this for a year or so. I couldn't even even go outside. It scared me. Dad. Kiyoko--"
A tear lets loose as it falls into your lap. Suga's warm hand holds the side of your face, as he gently wipes away a tear with his thumb. He sat there in silence looking into your face smiling.

"You're really brave you know."
"How so?"
"You've had the courage to go to a new school and start fresh."
"It was my mom who persisted I'd go, I really didn't want to. My scars still seem to follow me everywhere. You heard those people back in school."
"Don't mind them. They're just jealous."
"Haha, I feel so special." you say sarcastically
"You are, that's why I need you."
You look up at him making a confused face.
"Um, Er- I mean the team needs you."
You laugh at the boy's reddened face. You look towards the horizon again, the sun was just about to disappear. You're suddenly hit by a wave of fatigue as you let out a big yawn. Suga lets go of your face and pats his shoulder for you to lean on. You don't refuse and let your head rest upon it.
"What do you mean the team needs me?" you whispered into his shoulder
"I still want you to come to volleyball club. Only if you want to of course. Maybe the episodes won't occur when you associate your triggers with happy memories. I mean, I'm not going to force you, but it would be nice if you were there."
It would be nice if I was there? You let out another hefty yawn and he starts yawns as well. You both laugh as the contagious yawns form a tangle of mist in the air. It was starting to get darker in the cemetery as there were no streetlights around. A sliver of sun was left, it had almost fully set.
"Ah I forgot the anti-depressants cause drowsiness." You were still resting your head on his shoulder almost about to sleep. You're too tired to be embarrassed at this point.
Longest day of my life.
"Time to take you home."
As you both leave the bench. He takes his half of the jacket off and wraps it around your shoulders. He tugs at both ends and looks down on you. Staring into your eyes he gave you another smile, but it was different this time as he said,

"Thank you, for sharing a part of yourself with me." You start blushing and stutter,
"Oh nono, thank you for coming with me to see my dad. I know I dragged you out here all of a sudden, but I've never told anyone about this before. I felt it was okay with you."
Oh gosh I can't believe I just said that.
He suddenly pulled you into an unexpected embrace and your face met his warm chest. He wrapped his arms around your head, protecting you from the cold. You were in shock that your arms still remained at your sides.
"Suga?"
"Really, thank you."
You hear his voice crack a bit. Is he crying?
He rests his head on top of yours. You don't push him away or refuse. Instead, you wrap your arms around his strong back, tugging on his shirt. The smell of your favourite candy fills your nose. He smells like home. The silence grew in-between you two until he whispers,
"Kiyoko, she here too?"
You don't respond right away as another yawn escapes your mouth.
"Maybe another day" you say sheepishly.
He nods in agreement. A sudden rustling in the bushes makes Suga escape the embrace.
"What was that?" Suga looks around paranoid.
"What was what?"
Suga immediately grabs your hand and you both start running. You're laughing as pure panic filled his face and before you know it you're both running at top speed. You smile at the back of that silver head.
Heh, so he is scared of ghosts.
You both keep running down the dark streets until you finally reach your house. As you both go inside, he retrieves his bag and cleans up the papers on the table. He turns around and gives you a bundle of papers. The top page read, 'Chemistry Report: Titration lab by Shimizu (F/N) and Sugawara Koushi." He hands it to you and smiles. He takes off his glasses and rubs the fog off the lenses with his shirt.
"Here, like I promised."
You take the papers in shock. He wrote this so quickly, how did he have the time? You flip through the report and it contained detailed diagrams and equations of the formulas. You double check the formulas.
Everything is correct?!
"Is there something I'm missing?"
You start blushing, it must've looked like I was judging his work.
"No, it's perfect."
"See, told you you'd get that report." He lets out a small laugh as he straightens his papers and places them in his bag. He slings his bag over his shoulders and you walk him towards the door.
"Oh before you leave. Thanks again." you take off his jacket and hand it to him.
"Welcome." he takes it and before you know it, you're both staring into each others eyes. Not wanting him to leave just yet. The doorway separated you two. Him outside, you inside.
"Well, you should go home now, your mom must be worried. Plus, I better get started on my half" You say shyly as you hold the report in your hands.
"Haha, yeah she's probably is. I'll see you tomorrow?" He slings the jacket over one shoulder.
"C'ya!"
Giving you a small wave, he turns around and disappears into the night. You sigh looking at the report in your hands. Your names written together seemed meant to be. You look up into the sky and notice a Big Dipper shining brightly.
I really like him dad, I hope you do too.

MARVEL: GAME MAKER SYSTEM
Alex was an ordinary person with the dream of one day being transmigrated to a magical world. But what he didn't expect is that he would be transmigrated to a world much more than that, a world he knew very well, but instead of being given a system that would empower him, he was given a system that allowed him to make games, and the more people played, the more powers he would get. Tony Stark: I hate this! I can do in real life everything this Watch Dogs guy does, but why can't I stop playing? Hulk: HULK HATES DARK SOULS!!! HULK SMASH DARK SOUS ARRRHHHHGGG!!! Nick Fury: If any agent can't complete the Hitman game by next week, that agent will be fired from the Shield! A world of superheroes, but who controls everything is "only" a game developer.

8 115Loremaster of the Amaranthine lands
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Meet Regis, your morally grey, know more than most(but surely not all of it) guy. After willingly ending up in another world that has no sunshine and rainbows left to hand out, Regis must keep his wits sharp and his bladestaff sharper if he wants to get out of the refugee filled and monster besieged port-city of Hunor. Follow his ragtag group of outlanders as they waddle through the tense situation brought on by the shortage of supplies and overabundance of enemies in the war-torn kingdonf of Ecragurne. After a considerable amount of nagging by a few precious friends, I chose to share this (once complete and utter mess) book project with you as a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge. As I am not a native English speaker or professional writer, you can expect a few grammar issues along the way despite my best efforts to clean up my writing. Hence, I wellcome any comments with the intent of helping me getting better (within reasons of course).
