*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"ugHHgghh" you groan as you aimlessly reach for your phone to turn off the stupid alarm.
You successfully turn it off and groggily pull the sheets back over your eyes. Your mother calls for your name,
"(F/N)!!! You're going to be late for school!"
You mumble beneath the bedsheets "ugh, few more minutes!"
You sandwich your head between two pillows to drown out the sound.
Why does school have to be so EARLY.
As you finally get your stubborn head of yours to peep out the covers, you look out the window to a bright sunny day.
Wait, why is it so bright?
You quickly grab your phone and look at the time
'0800' it read
You stare blankly at the phone, slowly processing that you'd be late for school.
Crap.
You jump out of bed, grab your glasses and dress haphazardly. You don't even bother to comb or tie your hair. Quickly brushing your teeth and looking into the mirror, you're greeted with dark eye bags with all the late night thoughts keeping you up.
Wow no wonder everyone is scared of me.
You speed downstairs and quickly grab a piece of toast and shove it in your mouth.
"(F/N), hey hey, eat your breakfast properly!" Your mom scolded
"Can't ma, the class placements are in today! It'll be a bad first impression if I'm late"
"Still! You need to eat your breakfast!"
"But ma! I'm already running late!"
"Fine fine, but make sure you buy something from the cafeteria, I don't want you to pass out again."
Your mom reached into her pocket and gave you a few coins that could pay for a few sweet buns in the cafeteria. You observe your mom's hands, they're dry and worn out from the three jobs she's been juggling recently. She caught you staring and quickly gave you a peck on your forehead.
"C'mon, you said yourself you don't want to be late" She gently turned you around and started fixing your hair.

"Maaa!"
"Hold still! Your hair is a mess." She quickly put it in a ponytail and some stray hairs slip out, framing your face. She also adjusted your glasses and tucked the stray hairs behind your ears.
"Good, thats my (F/N)" she smiled and handed your backpack hanging from the kitchen chair.
"Have a good first day at school!"
"Thanks ma!" You said as you went running out the door. You stumble awkwardly out the door as your shoes were barely put on your feet. You take a deep breath and smell the fresh air.
First day of school, I've got this.
You're running as fast as your feet can carry you. You weren't the best runner but you also weren't too bad, mediocre as you'd say. As you came huffing and puffing you finally reached the school. "Karasuno High" the sign read
Orientation day and first day of classes.
You take the piece of paper the principle gave to you during orientation.
You see, you're not a regular first year, but actually you're a third year (academically). You're still 16, but you're just that smart you skipped grades. "Gifted" is what your mom calls you, but in reality you were called "Geek" behind your back. Your entrance exam was practically perfect that they wanted you to take advanced classes. You still have homeroom with the rest of the 16 year olds, but all the academics are with the third years.
In search of your classes, the hallways filled with whispers,
"Hey isn't that (F/N) Shimizu? I heard she's in advanced classes, but she's a first year" one girl whispered to another.
"Wow, what a geek. Such a try hard." the other girl replied.
"Shimizu, sounds familiar... Is she related to Kiyoko Shimizu? Well she certainly didn't get her looks that's for sure" Added another boy.
You go down the hallways hearing the voices and plug in one of your AirPods in your left ear to drown out the sound. A happy little tune played in your head as you ignore all the hate you've received on your first day of school.

Geez already the first day and people already run their mouths. No worries, once I finish this school year, I don't have to deal with these idiots.
You look down on the piece of paper again and the first class is in 3-2. "Chemistry" it read.
Well that won't be too bad, it's one of my favourite subject anyway.
As you walk towards the classroom, you keep your head low and fixate at the paper containing your class list. Clumsily, your head bumps into the back of a boy.
"Ah, sorry!" You say bashfully.
You're greeted with dazzling silver and neatly groomed hair. He turns around and you swear everything was in slow motion. It felt like one of those cliche movie scenes.
"Oh no worries!" He said with a solemn smile. In a daze, you drop your class list but he reaches down quickly and caught it in mid-air.
Fast reflexes.
He looked at the paper and read it, covering the lower half of this face. His eyes curiously scanning the page. You watch as his hazel eyes move left and right, blinking a few times in astonishment.
"Huh, you're in a few of my classes. How come I've never seen you before? Are you a transfer student?" He asked.
He then moved the paper out of his face and gave you heart melting smile. Your face started to burn up in embarrassment.
"Ah, Um- ya. I'm a f-first year, but I'm in third year courses." You stuttered
How is he making my heart flutter without doing anything? What is this feeling?
"Ah that makes sense, I would've noticed if you were in my classes". He smiled
Your face was turned a bright crimson.
How is he doing that?! He's just being polite or is he... flirting with me?! Maybe I'm just overthinking.
"Well welcome to third year! You can sit with me if you'd like, since you're new and all. Im Sugawara Koushi by the way."
"Thank you" you muttered. As you both quickly take your seats in front of the class, he hands back your class lists.
"Oh you might need this. Wouldn't want to get lost on your first day of classes" he smiled.
"Oh thanks" you mumbled, blushing again. You folded the paper and shoved it quickly into your bag.
What an eventful day, and class hasn't even started.
The teacher walks in and places his bag on the front table. He grabs everyone's attention by calling out the attendance sheet and proceeds with today's agenda saying,
"Okay class, since we are on our last year, we have to start our labs as soon as possible. Meaning today."
You hear groans all along the class, whereas you catch yourself making a small grin.
Yes, no awkward introductions or icebreaker games... those are the worst.
"However, since most of you know each other, we have one student who just started classes today at Karasuno. Please give her a warm welcome" the teacher said as he gestured you to stand.
Oh crap, why?
You stand abruptly pushing the chair back. You're a mere [insert your height] and you suddenly felt smaller as looming eyes shot at your direction.
"Well, introduce yourself, and tell us one interesting fact about you" insisted the teacher.
You feel Sugawara's eyes on you making you even more nervous. You take a deep breath and say,
"Ah, my name is (F/N) Shimizu. Uh, I am in my first year, taking third year courses..." You stuttered, feeling your palms getting sweaty as they cling to the bottom of your skirt,
"And I "
