Louis' small frame stood, yelling and screaming. "Run! Run! Yes! Goal!" He yelled as loud as he could over the voices of the people beside him. The team on the pitch all huddled together, creating a blur of blue and gold, chanting "Ain't no party like a cougar party, 'cause the cougar party don't stop!" repetitively, causing the stands to chant along as well. Everyone was jumping around the petite boy as he raced his way down to the pitch, running on, along with some other boyfriends and girlfriends to their respective partners.
Louis ran into Stan's spread arms, his grin getting wider and wider. "Congratulations, love!" Louis squealed, hugging his boy tightly. Stan's grip loosened and Louis was left alone. Stan was no where in sight. Maybe he'd gone off to the bathroom.
Louis' brother, Liam was the next person to come over to Louis, hugging his small brothers body and picking him up happily. "We won the championship, LouLou!" Liam's voice was deep, much deeper than Louis' but not as deep as Harry Styles.
Louis liked to think Harry liked him as a friend at least a little bit.
Louis and Harry went way back. To the time when they were in diapers. Actually, Liam was Harry's best friend. But being a twin, you got the opportunity to take any friend as your own, right?
"Good job on the last goal, Harry!" Louis tried. Harry shot him a glare. "Don't interrupt our conversation. Got it?"
Louis head dropped. "Yes, Harry." He mumbled. Louis waited for Harry and Liam to be done with their conversation before tapping on Liam's shoulder, asking if they could get frozen yogurt with the team.
"Yeah, Lou. You can join. I'm driving Niall there so you think Stan could take you?"
Louis nodded, smiling at the thought of his boyfriend. Louis followed closely behind Harry and Liam before parting ways declaring he'd see them in a few and walking towards Stan's car. Sweat was still glistening on his forehead and his lips were puffy.
Louis could tell this wasn't from soccer but he stayed silent, not wanting to argue with the boy. The car ride was comfortably silent, music playing softly but no conversation filling the car. When they pulled into You Say When Yogurt Mountain, the local frozen yogurt shop, Stan immediately smiled seeing his team occupying the large booths.
Everyone patted Stan on the back, making their fingers unlace from each other.
Louis walked over to the cups, grabbing a small one and mixing Raspberry and Birthday cake. He topped his with a couple strawberries, pineapples, and a small spoonful of sprinkles before putting his on the scale next to everyone else's. He saw a variety of flavors and colors on the small scale, laughing at the fact that the weight said 200.4 g. with everyone's on it.
"Who's is this?" Harry, who was the one paying, asked, holding up Louis' cup which was the smallest compared to all the others.
Louis looked down and slowly raised his hand. The shop had become silent, everyone curious on what was happening. "C'Mon Lou! Why so little? Go get yourself some more toppings or something. We want to break the record of 202!"
Louis shyly put more of everything he already had and set it back down on the scale. At the sight of 204.5 g. on the weight, everyone cheered and quickly grabbed their frozen yogurt, returning back to the seats and chatting with their friends.
Louis saw four more yogurt cups on the scale. He picked up his own, recognizing Stan's and wondering who else's was left. He assumed one was Harry's and Liam's judging by the realization that the two boys were talking to the cashier, trying to separate cash and coins to pay for everyone's treat.

Stan came up behind Louis, grabbing his then observing Louis' yogurt. "That's a little much, don't you think Lou?" Stan asked, slowly. Louis looked down at his yogurt. He got a small cup and his weighed the least so no, he didn't think it was too much. But Stan might have thought otherwise. Louis wasn't sure what "too much" meant in the terms of frozen yogurt but maybe he did have a little "too much."
"I mean, I guess, maybe?" Louis answered quietly, sounding like he was asking more of a question than giving a statement.
"Well now you made Harry have to pay for that much, go give him some cash and we can dump out your yogurt, okay?"
Louis looked down at his treat sadly. He was so excited to eat with the team, he never really got to because they were all so close. "Yeah..." Louis said, disappointed. He took out a $10 from his wallet and walked over to Harry.
Harry raised his eyebrows at the sight, stopping the conversation between himself and the cashier, silently asking Louis what he was doing.
"I-I'm sorry f-for um I-"
"Spit it out, Louis." Stan snapped at his boyfriend, his hand tightly making its way around Louis' waist and squeezing. Louis flinched, he knew that would leave a bruise.
"Sorry. I'm sorry for getting so much yogurt and making you pay for it and I didn't mean to get this much and I'm sorry." Louis rambled quickly, handing the $10 to Harry and snapping his head up to look at Stan expectedly.
"It's really not a big deal. Here, Liam. Take your brothers money. I don't need it." Harry said nicely, handing it over to Liam who gave a weak and guilty smile to Louis. "Thanks," the muscular boy mumbled before shoving the bill into his pocket and picking up his yogurt to go sit down.
Harry sat first, then Louis, Stan, and finally Liam. Louis nibbled at his yogurt and sprinkles. He scooped a couple of strawberries into his mouth before eating the pineapple and before Louis realized, he had eaten all of his yogurt.
He looked down at his bowl, fear in his eyes before lifting his head to look at Stan, who was talking to Liam.
Louis glanced at Harry, seeing his eyes on him.
I can't believe I ate that much frozen yogurt. I'm so fat, what will Stan say? Oh no.
Louis looked at Harry again, his eyes looking at him pleadingly and then it was quiet. No one was talking anymore and everyone was staring at Louis.
"What the hell is that?" Stan asked loudly, looking at Louis' empty bowl.
Louis looked down, ashamed. "I-I'm so sorry, Stan! I-I didn't mean to, I just, it just happened and I didn't even know and I'm sorry!"
People began talking again, not wanting to seem nosy about what was going on. However, Liam and Harry kept their eyes on the couple.
"Louis, I thought we talked about this whole diet thing. You can't eat all of that if you want to be skinny, right? Don't eat that much again. No food tomorrow either." Stan spoke quietly but still unintentionally loud enough for Harry and Liam to hear.
Liam knew the relationship was slightly abusive. Stan was controlling and over the past two years of his twin brothers relationship, he could see Louis wasn't happy anymore. He was just too scared to deny Stan, and Liam knew that. But Liam couldn't let Stan continue to bring Louis down. Louis was already very insecure and your partner is the one that supposed to take that insecurity and make it almost impossible to think about. Stan was just encouraging Louis to be unhappy and unconfident.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I couldn't help but overhear you tell my baby brother that he was overweight and needed to be on a diet. What the hell, Stanley? You can't talk to him like that." Liam's voice was booming by the end of the small statement.
"Liam, I'm just helping my boyfriend. Get over it. He needs to lose a few pounds, it's not something unheard of." Stan retaliated calmly.
"But Louis doesn't. He barely has tummy, his thighs are thick but still all muscle, and his hips are wide because his ass is big. Everyone knows that, honestly. Give it up, Stan. You're not right. So stop making the boy feel like shit and get over the fact that he looks better than you do. Okay? Okay. And let the little fairy have as much frozen fucking yogurt he wants to. It's not illegal and it's not a sin to eat yogurt. Plus you had more than he did so if anyone needs to say that got "too much," it's you." Harry snapped, not being able to listen to this anymore.
Stan huffed, glared at two taller boys before pushing Liam out of the booth, making him fall onto the ground, and walked straight out of the restaurant.
"Oh! LiLi, I'm so sorry. He didn't mean it, I promise. Are you okay? Does your back hurt?" Louis tried to help the bigger boy up, failing because of how tiny he was, but still worried about his brother.
"I'm okay, Lou. Are you?" Liam asked, sitting back into the booth and letting Louis sit on his lap, his legs wrapped around Liam's waist as they sat.
Louis nodded, but his eyes said so much more. "No, boo. You're not. And that's okay. It's okay to not be okay." The waterworks began as Louis heard what Liam was saying. He wasn't okay. At all. He didn't like this relationship anymore, he didn't like feeling ugly, and he didn't like Stan. Not even a little bit.
Louis let out quiet cries and whimpers into Liam's jersey covered shoulder. Everyone had slowly started filing out of the shop, leaving before it got too late.
Niall, the blonde Irish boy on the team, Liam, Harry, and Louis were the only ones left. Harry and Niall talked while Liam comforted his baby brother. Louis' cries slowly became sniffles and his heart beat slowed back to a normal pace.
It wasn't uncommon for Louis and Liam to be this close. They were twins after all, they put each other before anyone else out of instinct and love.
It also wasn't uncommon for Louis to have these small panic attack types of moments. He was like a delicate flower, the ones where if the wind blew too much it'd blow away like a dandelion in front of the lips of a child. Liam was always the one to know how to handle it other than their mum. Louis was a shameless Mummy's boy and he took pride in it too. They had a wonderful relationship and Liam nor their parents were scared to admit that Liam was more of badass compared to Louis' flower crown, pixie fairy, personality. Flamboyant.
"They're closing shop, boys. Looks like it's time to go." Harry announced quietly, not wanting to startle the small boy who still seemed to be shaken over the situation that had occurred a few hours earlier.
Louis stood, keeping his head down and eyes hooded. Liam slid out of the booth with a sigh.
"Lou, Stan should be outside and if he's not, call him
to take you home. I have to take Niall and you can't be in the hatch. I'd rather not get arrested in my new car." Liam had just gotten a new corvette for their birthday while he got his dream car, a white Jeep Wrangler. Liam's car choice made traveling hard especially when Louis and a friend, like Niall, both needed a ride home.
Louis simply nodded, not wanting to say anything. They all walked out to the parking lot together. Liam and Niall bid their goodbyes, Liam saying he'd see Louis at home later and giving Harry a bro hug, Niall saying a simple, shy goodbye to both before leaving.
Louis smiled softly at Harry, both of them giving silent farewells before Louis began walking to where he thought Stan's car would be. He didn't see anyone. He pulled out his phone to send the boy a quick text but saw that Stan called him 3 times in the last two hours and even left a voicemail. Louis was too scared to open it or even call Stan back so he simply didn't, locked his phone, and began walking back to the front. He saw Harry next to his run-down truck, moving things around with his phones flashlight shining down on the floorboard.
Louis hesitated but knew this was his only option. "Um H-Harry. Stan isn't really, um, he's not here. And I can't c-call him, so maybe do you think you could possibly, uh, take me home? Maybe?"
Harry looked at Louis, his eyebrows raised. Why would I even ask? He hates me, he won't drive me home. Louis thought. He sighed.
"Nevermind, sorry for asking. I'll find a way home, thanks for the yogurt, and tonight." Louis muttered quickly before jogging over to the sidewalk and beginning to walk the way he thought was home. He was wrong. In the first twenty minutes, he knew he had made a wrong turn somewhere. Louis' eyes welled up with tears. He pulled out his phone, deciding to call someone to pick him up.
Liam's phone rang twice before going to voicemail, signifying he'd turned it off for the night like he did every school night to insure he got a good nights rest. Nerd.
Louis then called Niall but his phone was off as well, only lasting one half of a ring. Weird. Louis' last option was either his parents or Harry. His parents wouldn't come. They'd be asleep, but maybe, just maybe, Harry wasn't home yet.
Louis' breath shook. He didn't know what he'd do if Harry wasn't willing to pick him up from God knows where.
"Hello?"
"H-Hi" Louis shivered. Being out this late in October wasn't the best idea.
"Louis?"
"Yeah. It's me. I seem to be lost. I don't really know where I am. So could you maybe, pick me up?" Louis asked slowly. He didn't want to upset Harry with any misunderstood words.
"Yeah. What's the last street you remember, little Lou?"
Louis blushed at the nickname he'd been called since Harry met him. "Um, I think Marshall Dr. I turned left there." Louis said, trying to hide the smile on his face even though Harry couldn't see him.
"Okay. Be there in 5."
Harry hung up before Louis could thank him. Louis waited 5, 10, then 15 minutes. He began to cry. He knew it. Harry wouldn't really pick him up. How could he be so stupid? The tears stuck to his face, quickly freezing. Louis sniffled and rubbed at his cold nose and ears, trying to give them some heat.
A dark truck pulled up behind Louis. "Lou, Lou? I'm sorry. The truck was almost out of gas and the register wouldn't take my card." Harry rushed to get out of the truck, leaving it on as he climbed out and wrapped his long arms around Louis, resting them on the smaller boys shoulders.
"I thought you weren't coming." Louis admitted into Harry's coat. Harry sighed, kissed the top of the boys head and carried him to the truck while Louis clung to him like a koala bear.
Harry got in on the drivers side, and turned around to go in the direction of Louis' house. Louis patted his Harry's coat covered arm so Harry stuck it out, curious as to what Louis was doing. Louis slid over next to Harry, the truck being one with no console and a large seat in the front for three people, and curled into his side, cuddling with the boys arm and laying his head against it. Harry opened his hand, letting Louis' fingers place themselves between his own, perfectly lacing their fingers together between Louis' thick thighs.
