《Bound To Be》This Is Not Good

I put the gardening tools away and realized it was 12:00 in the afternoon.

The day goes by fast when you are busy. And having fun.

I was a bit hungry so I decided to go to my favorite diner where they serve the best fried chicken you can have. It was on special today too.

I took a shower and I couldn't help but think about Abraham and how whenever I would get ready I was getting ready for him.

I pushed him out of my mind for the time being but he was always going to be there.

I wore just some black pants and a plain black tee. It was just a diner.

I took an Uber to the diner. The diner always had business. I walked in and the host asked me how many and it didn't hit me until I realized I was by myself.

"Um...one." I said.

"Would you like to go to the bar area or regular dining?"

"The bar area. Please."

"Right this way."

I sat down at a table and was enjoying the baseball game that was going on above me on the television.

A waitress came up to me and asked for my order. I of course ordered the fried chicken.

It wasn't too long till my food came out.

While I was enjoying my meal a young man about my age came through the door where I just entered.

The host sat him at a table across from me. I'm guessing he was by himself too.

We made eye contact but I looked away.

I looked up again and he was smirking. He got up and walked towards my table. He sat in the seat right in front of me.

"Hi." He said.

I looked up and replied back with a, "Hi", back.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Alicia."

"George. Nice to meet you."

"Not to be rude, George, but why did you sit with me."

"Your alone. I'm alone. Why not make a new friend." I smiled at his outgoing personality.

"Do you do this all the time?" I asked eating a fry.

"I feel there is beauty and good vibes that surround a person and I automatically got that vibe from you." I looked down in embarrassment.

"Don't look down. I like to look in your eyes." Really guy. He made me blush. Uh oh not good.

"I have a boyfriend." I had to say it before things got more out of hand.

"Mmmm. Where is this boyfriend tonight?"

I had to lie.

"He's at work."

"Oh. Well I don't see why he would get mad I am just making sure you have company while you eat your dinner."

He was really smooth. Too smooth.

"I like your suave persona you bring but I'm not sure that's your true personality, George." He started to laugh.

The waitress came up to George asking for his order.

"I'll have what the lovely Alicia is having."

The waitress left and it was just me and him again.

"So Alicia do you enjoy eating out by yourself?"

"You could say that." I said. I was being vague on purpose.

"You live around here?"

"Sure."

"Look Alicia I am not a psychopath. Stop being so vague."

"I think you forgot George you still are a stranger to me."

He smiled.

"You got a smart mouth on you. I like that."

"Like I said before, I have a boyfriend. I don't appreciate your flirtatiousness."

"I thought I was being charming."

I just shook my head smiling. He was funny.

"Ah, brought a smile to your face."

His food came out. On his first bite he moaned in appreciation.

"How did I not know this plate existed? It's so good."

"Best place to get fried chicken."

"Miss would you like an ice cream? It comes with the fried chicken special."

"Sure. I'll have chocolate."

"Your favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate?"

"Green tea actually."

"Green tea. I'll have to try that."

"You'll never go back to any other flavor. Fair warning."

"I'll take the chance."

I noticed after a while George was really cool to have as company. Not as cool as Abraham but still he was up there.

We continued to talk and eventually I was ready to go.

"I should go. But thank you for accompanying me for dinner."

"It was my pleasure Alicia. I enjoyed myself."

"As did I."

"Can I have your number?" I gave him a look and he said, "Just kidding."

"I'll see you around." I said waving goodbye.

I called an Uber while I was eating my ice cream it was outside by the time I left the restaurant.

I got in and I noticed I was smiling. I met another guy and had a really good time.

This is not good.
