《Bound To Be》Getting Out

He's coming and I am sloppy drunk. Oh geeez.

Why did I tell Julio to call him. I'm going to get yelled at.

I need another shot before I go. I surprisingly walked over to the bar and asked for another shot. This guy just got here he doesn't know I've been here since who knows when.

He passed me another shot and I threw it back.

"Uggghh. Michael she doesn't need anymore to drink. She's super drunk." Julio said. "Come on baby just sit down till your bou comes."

"Ok." I sat down with the help of Julio. I started leaning to the side and would've fell if Julio didn't catch me.

"I got it from here." I heard his voice without looking up. He's here.

"She's been here since 11:00. Better take her home." Julio said while walking away.

I felt Abraham put his arm around my waist and my arm over his shoulder.

He didn't say one word. He picked me up from the chair and we started walking.

"Woah. Woah. Too....fast." I said not seeing the floor properly.

We magically made it to his Jeep and he practically threw me in. He shut the door and walked to his side. He got in and put my seatbelt on.

"Mmmmm. You smell...gg...good." I said with my nose on top of his head.

He got back up and started driving.

"Ohh. No. Alicia is get...getting the silent...(burp)...treatment." I said slurring my words.

Still nothing.

"You don't like me any...anymore...don't you.." I said with tears in my eyes. Alcohol can really switch on and off your emotions.

He looked towards me and shook his head. "Why would you say that?" He finally said.

"Cuz I'm...a...a..sloppy drunk!"

"My feelings for you haven't changed Alicia." He said sighing.

Good.

"I think I'm going to be...sick."

"Oh shit..." He pulled over quickly and ran towards my side.

I jumped out and fell on my hands and knees barfing my gutts out. It didn't stop. Even when I did stop I kept hurling dry heaves.

After I was absolutely finished I don't remember what happened.

Right when she was finished throwing up and it was pretty much dry heaves, I went to my glove compartment and grabbed some napkins. But when I turned around she was on the floor.

"Oh fuck! Alicia!" I ran towards her and picked her up. Passed out.

Great.

I picked her up and put her in the passengers seat. Once she was buckled in I started to drive again.

Her head was leaning against the window. She was still cute even passed out drunk.

Why did she get drunk? She never drinks more than two drinks.

I'm figuring it's because of what I said yesterday. I freaked her out. Great.

We pulled up to the house and I made sure my Grandmother wasn't here. Her car was gone. Thank god. I know Alicia wouldn't want her to see her like this.

I opened the passenger door and started to pick her up. She slowly opened her eyes and mumbled, "Abraham...?"

"Yeah."

She threw her head back. And she's gone again.

I picked her up and started walking inside. I went upstairs towards her room. Once we were inside I put her to bed.

I crawled in bed and craddled her in my arms. She has a lot to explain when she wakes up.

But for now I am just glad she is okay.

The sun was already setting and she still wasn't up. I knocked out for about two hours but she beat me in this sleep competition.

I looked at her closely and noticed she got her eyebrows done, oh and her nails....I picked up the blanket....oh and her toes.

All black.

I started petting her hair when she moaned. She was waking up.

Her eyes fluttered open.

"Good morning." I said. She looked around and noticed it was turning dark.

"How long was I asleep?"

"Well we got home at 2:30 so you've been asleep for about five hours."

"Oh god." I just stared at her. For quite a while actually.

Finally I asked, "Why?"

"I don't want to tell you."

"Is it because of what I said yesterday?"

"That's apart of the reason."

"Just spill your words out. Please. I want to know."

"You freaked me out." She paused. "But after having one too many drinks I started thinking maybe I should go home but I didn't want to confront you about what I actually thought. But at the same time I wanted to come home just to see you and when I realized that....I knew I have feelings for you too."

No. Freaking. Way.

Did she just say that?

I grabbed her face and was going to kiss her but she stopped me and said, "Maybe we can continue this moment after I brush my teeth."

Oh. Right. I started laughing and she did too.

"You are unpredictable Alicia." I kissed her forehead instead.

"I'm kinda hungry." She said.

"I'll make you something. Come on let's go downstairs."

"Wait what are we going to tell Ann."

"We are going to embrace this. Let's tell her."

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely sure." I want to tell my Grandmother. I know she would be much happier if I was with Alicia than any other girl.

"Okay." We headed towards the kitchen and I started making her some spaghetti.

She was sitting on the bar stool just watching, while I prepared her dinner.

"So I see pasta being put in boiling water, I also see mushrooms being sauteed, and ground beef being cooked...all I'm waiting for is the tomato sauce but I'm guessing your making spaghetti."

"You are right m'lady." I replied and she smiled.

"What else can you cook?" She asked propping her chin on her hand.

"Spaghetti and spaghetti oh and more spaghetti." I said jokingly.

"A man of many talents, I'm impressed."

"Why thank you." I smiled.

I put the spaghetti in bowls and got the grater out of the cupboard to grate some cheese.

"This looks fantastic Abraham."

"I hope it tastes as it looks."

She took a forkful of spaghetti and she sighed. "Oh yeah this is definitely bomb."

I smiled. She actually likes the only thing I can cook.

I just watched her eat. She is a cute eater. I noticed she kept giving me the side eye but I couldn't help myself.

"Hello kids! How was your day today?" My grandmother walked in.

"Hey Ann." Alicia said.

"Hey Grandmother."

"Is that your spaghetti I smell Abe?"

"It sure is."

"I'm surprised you only cook for me." Really...

"Oh really..." Alicia said looking at me, smirking.

I couldn't stop but smile back. She is too cute.

I looked at my Grandmother and I knew she knew what was going on.

"Grandmother I have an announcement to make."

"Oh uh okay...me too." She sounded nervous but I couldn't wait to tell her about Alicia.

"I'll just go ahead and say it. Grandmother, I have confessed my feelings for Alicia." I grabbed her hand. "Alicia and I have started to get feelings for one another."

Her mouth slightly opened in shock or admiration...I don't know. But then she slowly started to smile.

"I was hoping this would happen to you two."

"What?!" Alicia and I said in unison.

"You guys don't remember but when you two were small, Alicia's father used to come over with Alicia and you too would play all day and night until you would fall asleep with one another. Abraham was always holding you Alicia, never letting go. And I always secretly wished that someday you two would find that connection like when you were children." She started getting teary eyed. "And my wish came true."

I grabbed my Grandmother and brought her in for a hug. I looked at Alicia and she was smiling.

Ironically I feel very safe and satisfied when I sleep with Alicia, even as kids.

After she calmed down I asked, "So what did you need to say?"

Her whole demeanor changed.

"You'll need to sit down for this honey." She told me.

I grabbed Alicia's hand. This had to be big.

"Um. Well. I don't know how to say this...but...your mother is getting out of jail."

My whole world stopped.

"What?"
