《Bound To Be》Photography Adventure

This was the first night that Abraham slept in his own room. I actually felt a little lonely. I didn't mind when he slept with me. The only perk was that the bed was a little cooler.
I immediately went to bed after Abraham left. We continued to talk for another 40 minutes. It was friendly conversation.
I went to sleep with a smile on my face.
*******
The sun was hitting my face. It's morning.
I took my time to open my eyes. When I opened them I seen someone on my bed. My eyelids automatically opened.
"Did you miss me last night?" Abraham said laying down with his head on his hand that was propped up by his elbow.
"It was a lot cooler without you." I said stretching.
"I'm a body heater. What can I say." He said shrugging his shoulders.
"Good morning."
"Mornin'."
"You look very different today." I said taking in his features. He looked the same like physically but then I noticed why looked different.
"Different how?"
"Not so much look but seem. You seem more happier." I said mimicking his body position.
"That's because I broke it off...not break it off but let go of Krystal last night on the phone."
"On the phone! She must've been pretty upset."
"She took it better than I thought she would. She said and I quote, 'I knew it was coming'. I'm glad she took it well. Now if she would've cried then I would've felt like shit. Thank god she didn't though."
"She probably did when you guys hung up. Abraham rule number one is to not break things off with a girl over the phone!"
"Technically she wasn't my girlfriend so I could do whatever I felt like doing."
I laughed at what he said. He is unbelievable sometimes.
"So enough about Krystal and I, what are you doing today?"
"Well since it's a Monday I have decided to get my nails, toes and eyebrows done. Oh and I need to find a job."
"A job!" He said shocked.
"Yes. A job. I can't live off my Dad's money forever. I want to work."
"But you don't have to."
"I don't but I want to."
"Well where do you want to work?"
"Anywhere that takes me really. I just want to spend the money I earn."
"You know you don't have to leave home to work. You can work from home. Have a home business. What do you like to do that you can make money off of?"
"Hhhhmmmm. Let me think. I've always had a love for photography."
"Great. You can create a blog and put your pictures up, see if anyone would buy your pictures. You'll make bank. I'll even help you." He said smiling. He was being very serious.
"That sounds like a good idea but I need to buy a camera. My camera broke right before I moved here. I was truly bummed."
It happened the day my Dad was leaving. I was taking a picture of us and stupidly dropped the camera. I was beyond bummed.
"Then let's go get you a camera and your other girly stuff."
"You want to come with?"
"Yeah." He said smiling while getting up. "Let's get ready for a day full of adventure." He left the room.
Abraham is way different than he was the first day. Like 100x different. And I'm kinda liking this side of him. A lot.

I took a shower and decided to wear a burgundy off the shoulder top and shorts.
After I was ready I grabbed my over the shoulder bag and went towards Abraham's room. I knocked and went in. He was putting his wallet in his pocket when I walked in.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yup."
"Let's go."
We went downstairs and walked towards the garage. Instead of going to the usual garage we ended going to a different one. He opened the door and I seen an all black Jeep.
"How many cars do you have?"
"My Grandmother gave me this one when I turned 18. I don't usually use it ever since I got the Range Rover."
"Your life really sucks doesn't it." I don't even have a car let along two.
He laughed and we got in.
We were driving down the street when he asked, "Hey, where is the juice bar at?"
"Oh. You really wanted to go?"
"Yeah. That's why I'm asking."
"Turn right and go down a little. It's on your left."
We pulled up in front of the juice bar. I opened the door and seen Daniel making drinks.
"Alicia!" He said when he seen me.
"Hey Daniel."
Abraham coughed to make sure we knew he was there.
"Oh hey Abraham." Daniel said.
"Sup."
After Daniel finished his other order we were next.
"The regular Alicia?"
"Yup."
"What would you like Abraham?"
"I'll have the 'regular' too." He said making the quote gesture.
"Alrighty then coming up."
He went to the task at hand.
"So what are you guys up to today?"
"Well we are going to buy Alicia a camera then I'm taking her for a day full of adventure." Abraham said wrapping his arms around my shoulder. He looked down at me and smiled, I smiled back. Then he looked back up at Daniel. I know what Abraham is doing. He thinks I don't but I do.
"Sounds like fun." Daniel said in a boring tone.
He finished making our drinks and before we could leave Daniel said, "I'll text you later Alicia." He winked at me.
I heard Abraham scoff but ignored it. We got back in the Jeep and were on our way once again.
We continued to talk until we arrived at a BestBuy. I had enough money for a $500 camera.
We went inside and I started to look around for the ONE. I'm very picky with my cameras. I continued to look when one camera in particular caught my eye. I picked it up and was inspecting all its features. I opened the lens and took a picture of Abraham looking at the other cameras. He noticed the clicking sound and looked up at me.
"Is that one the ONE?" He said ONE dramatically.
"It sure is." I went to check the price and I immediately put the camera back. "No it's not the one."
"What? Why not?" He picked up the camera. "I can tell you really liked it."
"It's too much money. Out of my price range."
He looked at the price and he called over an employee. "I would like this one."
"What Abraham? No!" I said whisper yelling.
"Ok Sir. Right this way." The employee brought us to the cash register. "I just need to get one from the back."
Once the guy left I said, "What the hell! I can't afford it."

"Beautiful day out isn't it."
"Abraham listen to me!"
"I'm in the mood for some chinese. You?"
"You are not listening to me!" The guy came back with the camera box in hand.
"Oh yeah and I'd like everything that comes with the camera. You know what I mean." The guy looked at Abraham like he was a god. He knew he was making a sale.
"Right away Sir." He took off to get everything Abraham asked for.
I looked at Abraham. "You are fuckin crazy." I was speechless.
"Alicia. What's the point in getting a camera if you aren't going to have all the gadgets that go with it."
"You don't have to do this for me. You know that right."
"Alicia I'm doing this because I want to make you happy." He said smiling.
"It's a little much though." He put his hands on my face.
"Just say thank you."
"I don't want you buying this for me."
"I want to and that's final." The guy came back with everything I needed. He kept swiping each item for a price.
I had to look away. "Okay the total is...." He stopped when he seen Abraham putting his finger to his mouth in a 'don't say anything' gesture. He just passed him his card.
I looked down and continued to shake my head no.
"Thank you Sir."
"No. Thank you." Abraham grabbed the bag and grabbed my hand.
"I can't think of a way of saying how thankful I am. Truly." I said.
"Your smile says it for me." He said opening my door.
He got in and he said, "I'm in the mood for chinese. I know a spot where we can eat. It's quite a ride so put the camera together and by the time you finish we'll be there."
"Okay." I opened everything and started to put everything together.
By the time we got to the restaurant I had everything ready. We pulled up to a place called Chin Chin's on Sunset Blvd.
"Bring your camera." Abraham said while coming out of the car.
I brought it with me. We were sat down and ordered our food.
"Haven't been to this place in forever." He said while taking a sip of his drink.
"It must be good. There are a lot of people here."
"It's bomb." I laughed.
"I think I'll just get my nails done tomorrow."
"Why?"
"I'd rather wait. I don't want to do so many things in one day."
"Whatever you say boss." He said.
He continued to look at me with a smile on his face.
"You know you are very beautiful when you are happy. I don't usually see you happy."
"Well that was before when you would be a jerk to me. I was never happy, now that you are sweet, I'm happy."
He continued to smile and stare. I tried to look down and play with my straw wrapper but I kept feeling his eyes on me the whole time.
Our food finally came. Thank god.
We started to eat when he asked me, "Where do you see yourself in ten years?"
"Umm. Well I plan on going back to school in the next year. So I want to finish school first. And after that I want to live on my own, start my career, start a family. Let life play out the way it's supposed to."
"What do you want to be?"
"I want to be a...a computer programmer." I don't usually tell people this.
"Oh really."
"Don't sound all surprised." I said a little angry.
"I'm not. I actually find it...interesting."
"Okay let's change the subject." I said eating my broccoli beef.
"I have no idea what I want to be." He said a little disappointed, I could tell by the tone in his voice.
"You must have an inkling of what you want to be."
"Nope. Zilch."
"Everyone must have something they find interesting or like to do."
"Not me. That's why I haven't gone to college. What's the point of going if I'm just going to waste my time studying for something that I know isn't what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life."
I could tell he was really vulnerable towards this subject.
"Once you are drawn to something, go for it and use it to your advantage. Okay?"
He finally looked up at me. A smile spread across his face. "I'll definitely use it to my advantage." He said looking at me in the eyes.
I looked back at him and couldn't take my eyes off of his. That same spark lit up like the first night in the kitchen. Oh. My. God.
The waiter brought us the check disrupting our moment. What is happening? Abraham took care of the check and we were on our way.
"Let's take some pictures." He said putting on his sunglasses when we got in the car.
"You mean our adventure."
"That's exactly what I mean."
"Alright let's go." I said like it's a challenge.
He smiled and bumped up some music. I noticed it was one of my favorite artists. BØRNS. No freakin way.
"You listen to BØRNS!"
"Yeah. Love his album Dopamine."
"Oh I think we are meant to be Abraham. I am in love with BØRNS!" He smiled from ear to ear.
"Let's bump it up more than."
We played Holy Ghost by BØRNS.
We took off listening to BØRNS the entire time.
"Start taking pictures!" He yelled while driving.
I was more than willing to! The camera was going off.
We stopped at the closest beach. Snap! Snap!
We stopped at an empty street. Snap! Snap!
We stopped when we were going through little streets. Snap! Snap!
We stopped at Venice Beach. Snap! Snap!
I just continued to take pictures of beautiful California. Snap! Snap!
Snap! Snap!
I even took a picture of Abraham when we were waiting for our ice cream at Sprinkles Ice Cream. He knew I was taking the picture. Ever the model.
We got our ice cream and ate it in his parked car.
"This had to be the most fun I have had in a long time. When you mean adventure you mean adventure! Thank you." I said eating my red velvet ice cream.
He laughed. "I am glad you had fun. I had the best day too."
We looked at each other and he furrowed his eyebrows.
Next thing you know his lips were on mine. Oh. My. Freaking. Goodness.
He continued to kiss me. This had absolutely nothing on Daniel's kiss whatsoever. He grabbed me to come closer. His lips started to suck my bottom lip. I sighed. His tongue made its way in my mouth. He definitely knew how to kiss. Oh yes. Definitely.
"Oh. My. God. You. Are. So. Sweet." He said between each kiss.
I pulled his hair. He groaned. My lips didn't want to stop. Neither did I.
He ended up stopping. He leaned his forehead against mine. We were catching our breath. He started to laugh. I did too.
"You are amazing." He said. I just smiled.
"That's a very good way of saying your welcome." I said.
He started to laugh.
"Alicia. I like you." My whole world stopped. Did he just say that? "I think I always knew but never confronted my feelings. You said if you are drawn to something to do something about it. That's what I'm doing Alicia. With you."
He was looking at me genuinely.
That spark is lighting up more and more.
And I'm glad it is.
