《Bound To Be》Want To Talk

I woke up by myself. Yet I remember Abraham sleeping with me last night.

Ah. Whatever.

I woke up in a very good mood. Hhhmmm. I wonder why? I smiled knowing why I was so happy.

But I couldn't stop thinking about what Abraham said last night, asking me why I kissed Daniel. He was drunk though. He was babbling craziness. But can he have feelings for me? But he's such a jerk to me. Plus he has Krystal. But they aren't an official couple. But they sure do act like it though.

Ahh! Too many 'buts'!

Every time I think about Abraham I just get angry. I need to stop.

I can't ruin this good mood.

So I decided that I would write my Dad the letter I promised I would do the first day.

I got my pad of paper and pen and began writing.

After writing the letter I put the letter in the envelope and put it near the mailbox for the mailman.

As I was downstairs I seen Ann reading a book on the couch in the living room.

"Hey Ann." I said happily.

"Hey sweetheart." She said closing her book.

"That was a great party last night." I said sitting next to her.

"It was a success." She said putting her hand on my knee.

"You must be beat." I said.

"Oh I'm alright."

"Let's go somewhere. Just me and you." I said smiling. I want alone time with Ann.

"Your so adventurous Alicia."

"So is that a yes or no."

"It's a yes." She said laughing. "Anyways Abe left earlier this morning with Krystal."

Oh he went with Krystal.

"Okay I'll give you time to get ready."

"Alright dear."

I got up. "I'm so excited." I said walking out.

I ran upstairs and began to get ready. It was going to be a sunny afternoon so I wore a trapeze dress and my converse.

I went downstairs after getting ready and came face to face with Abraham. And Krystal.

He looked super hungover. Like bad. His eyes were puffy. He looked like he hasn't slept for days. Woah.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Out with Ann. Girls day out." I smiled and went towards Ann's room. Quick escape.

She had on a beautiful summer shirt on with white capris. She's too adorable.

"You look cute." I said from the doorway.

"Oh thank you dear." She said looking at herself in the mirror. "You ready to rock and roll." She said eagerly.

"You bet."

We were walking towards the doorway when Abraham blocked us.

"Where exactly are you two going?" He said arms crossed with narrowed eyes.

"Wherever the wind takes us dear." Ann said.

"That's not specific." He said annoyed.

"Oh don't get your panties in a wad." Ann said walking past him and opening the door.

I laughed at his facial expression before I walked out. He can have fun with Krystal.

We got in Ann's white Bentley and were on our way.

"So where is the wind taking us Ann?"

"I was thinking Santa Monica pier. We can check it out. Haven't been there in years and I want to show you."

"Sounds like a plan." I put on my sunglasses and enjoyed the ride.

We got to the pier and first thing we got was a churro.

"Man I haven't had this in forever." Ann said enjoying her churro.

We continued to walk around and talk. Like any girls would do. Ann has really grown on me. She is like my grandmother too. She's sweet, compassionate and funny.

"Hey we should go on the ferris wheel." I suggested.

"Okay." We got our tickets and made our way to the ferris wheel.

We immediately got on since it was still a little early for people to jam pack the line.

I took this chance to talk to Ann on a serious level.

"So Ann...um...how exactly do you know my Dad? I mean he's told me you guys are old friends but that's about it." She smiled.

"Well your father sort of came into my life unexpectedly. He was actually my neighbor. His parents and I would talk from time to time but not where you would see us hanging out. Well one day I was watering my plants in the front yard and I seen him waving to his parents goodbye. I know now that they were leaving for a weekend getaway and they were leaving your father by himself. He was mature enough to be alone. The sun was about to set when they left. I went back inside and began reading in my rocking chair near my window where I could see your father's house. Well I was so intrigued in my book that I didn't keep track of time. But I was distracted when I seen police lights in the driveway next door. I looked out and seen policemen walking towards the door. Your father opened the door and his face said it all. Well I think you know what happened."

I did know what happened to my grandparents. They died in a car accident. I heard this story but not from a different point of view.

"Well long story short I took your father in because he had no where else to go. No other family. He was eighteen and could live on his own but I knew he needed help. So he lived with me for awhile. Not in the house I live in now but another one. You could say he is like a son to me. He wanted to go to the Army so I let him. He continued his life. Had you. But we still kept in touch. We are old friends indeed." She smiled when she said the last sentence.

"Thank you for telling me Ann. It means a lot." I gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek.

After exploring the pier we called it a day. Well afternoon.

We got back to the house and I could tell Ann was pooped.

I went upstairs to my room and flopped on the bed. I felt my phone vibrate and seen that it was Daniel. I smiled.

I wonder what he wanted to talk about? It's something bad I know it is.

Oh god.
