《Bound To Be》Nap Time

Even though it is not as easy to find clothes when I am shopping, I still enjoy it to the fullest.

Well since I live in California, near the beach, I need new clothes that go with the weather here. California does have the best weather though. I even bought an outfit for the fourth of July.

My Dad made sure before I moved here that I had money in my account at all times. I am grateful for that. I use my money resourcefully. Well sometimes.

After going through all the stores that I needed to go to, I decided to walk to a juice bar not too far from home. It was only a block away.

I walked in and heard the bell chime from the door.

"Hello. Welcome." I heard the tall guy say when he seen me walk in.

"Hi." I was browsing the menu at the top. I didn't know what to get. "What do you recommend from here? I'm up for anything."

He smiled and said, "Well my favorite is the banana berry smoothie. I'm a banana fan."

"Me too. I'll have one."

"Right away." He turned to the blender and started to put the ingredients in. "So how is your day today?" He asked.

"Pretty good. I just finished shopping and decided to stop for a smoothie. We don't have many of these in Pennsylvania."

"Oh your from Pennsylvania. When did you move here? Or are you visiting?"

"I moved here like....yesterday." I've done a lot in one day.

"Well welcome to beautiful Malibu, California." He passed me my drink.

I took a sip and fell in love. So refreshing. "This is super good."

"I made it with love." He smirked.

"Oh really. Well you better make it with love all the time because I think I'll be a regular here."

"I look forward to it...um..."

"Alicia."

"Alicia. My name is Daniel."

"Nice to meet you Daniel."

"As well as you Alicia." He smiled and me and I waved goodbye and was out the door.

He's a nice guy.

I decided to walk the rest of the way towards home.

I opened the door to the huge mansion and went straight upstairs to put my new things away.

"You were gone for quite awhile." I heard from behind me. I already knew who it was.

"What can I say, I love to shop." I continued to hang up my clothes.

"You know you could have asked for a ride to the mall instead of taking an Uber."

"Is that why you looked mad when I left. I didn't want to bother you and your guest." I said distractedly.

"You can't trust Uber drivers all the time. I know you've heard of those stories."

"Well I'll take the chance." I smiled up at him.

I continued to hang up my clothes and organize my room and Abraham continued to watch and soon enough sat on my bed.

"Oh feel free to get comfortable." I said sarcastically.

"I'm bored." He said laying down.

"Go hang out with some friends. Go take a nap. Go to the beach. Go hang out with your Grandmother." Go away.

"None of that sounds fun." He said looking at the ceiling.

"Why didn't you go hang out with Krystal?"

"She had to go somewhere with her sister."

"Then I don't know what to tell you."

"What are you doing later today?"

"Take a nap. I'm still a little jetlagged."

"Ughhh. That's boring."

"No one said you needed to hang out with me." I said defensively.

"Your my last resort."

"Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm tired." I went into my closet and changed into shorts and a t-shirt. He was still on my bed. "You need to leave."

"I'll take a nap too." He said sitting up. "Then when we wake up we should take my Grandmother out for dinner."

"Sounds good." I said waiting for him to leave. He got up and went under the blankets and comforter. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"I'm going to take a nap." He said like I was the one not understanding his motives.

"Uh. No. You sleep in your bed. In your room." I said pointing towards his room.

"Come on don't act like we are going to do anything. Anyways your bed is the most comfortable in the house." He said snuggling in.

"And how would you know?"

"I used to sleep in this bed when I couldn't sleep good at night. Always did me good." He patted the bed.

"This is not happening."

"Come on. I won't do anything. I just want to know when you wake up, so I'll wake up. If we wake up at the same time, we will both be ready to take my Grandmother for dinner." He said trying to negotiate.

"I don't agree to this at all but since I know I won't win. I give in." I went towards the curtains and closed them to block out the sun. I also turned on the AC because I wake up hot from naps. "Stay on your side and I won't kill you."

"Trust me don't worry about that." He said snuggling with all the pillows.

"Uh. Pass a pillow." He pushed a pillow towards me and I got in. My bed is fresh. Thank god. I snuggled in and fell asleep soundly.

I woke up to movement on the bed and remembered that Abraham was with me. He doesn't stay still. Jeeez.

I moved towards the edge. Sleep was taking me once more but I felt him come closer and pull me towards his chest. His arm draped around my waist. Oh my goodness. I laid there awkwardly but I didn't want to wake him finding himself in this situation. So I just stayed still.

I was still really tired so I fell asleep once again.

This was going to be an awkward awakening when we wake up.
