When I saw the big black wolf pin my warriors easily without even flinching, I knew we were screwed. My father had died in the rouge attack.

I took all my frustration out on girls for a good two months after Alex left. Then this pain went through me and I knew she was alive but not for very long. I knew she was phasing. Males usually go through it alone. And girls had there mate with them. It was the full moon after their birthday. The male was going to help the female that was also the time when the two bonded.

Females can't survive without there mates. So I knew that Alex was dead.

The alpha of the shadow woods pack was hear to help . The rouges came in the middle of the night. Almost un noticed. Josh was on patrol. I can still hear the screams ...

-ALPHA WE HAVE A TRESS PASSER!- I shot up in my bed. Ashley was on some weird spa appointment. She had been gone for two days now.

-HOW MANY WERE SPOTTED?!?!- I said in alpha mode. I may have been a player but after Alex left I cleaned up. And when I felt her pain and knew for sure she was dead I picked a Luna. I strived to become a good alpha.

- AT LEAST TEN-

-SEND AT LEAST THIRTY OUT THERE.-

-ALPHA, THERES ONLY TEN-

-IT DOESNT MATTER GET THE WARRIORS OUT THERE!- said Josh chiming in. I raced out of my room and out the front door. But when I went out there I saw that a majority of the damage had been done. There might have only been ten but they were massive. Rouges are lone wolves who are either wolves who got kicked out of there pack or wolves who don't like the rules. These DID NOT like the rules. I knew who they were instantly. They called themselves Bloodlust . They killed every one in there way.

I jumped shifting in mid air.

- GET THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN INTO THE BUNKERS!- I told the remaining warriors who weren't fighting. A rouge was on top of me. I watched in slow motion as my father came up behind him and attacked the rouge twisted and bit down on his neck and didn't let go until he stopped moving.

I howled to let the pack know the former alpha was dead.

That night there was no song of victory.

I take my job very seriously, so when this big black wolf tackled my warriors easily I was shocked.

"You can shift" said Otto. The wolf went to phase back and out stepped the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. With her midnight black hair that went down to her waist. Her skin as pale as the snow on the ground. What caught my attention the most was her eyes. They were silver.

She walked toward the beta and he wrapped his arms around her.

-how dare he!- said my wolf. That took me by surprise. He doesn't talk to me much. Not after Alex.

"Hello I'm Jack Greyson." I said trying to be friendly but came out bitter.

"Hello" said the girl as she turned in his arms. "This is Margo, Daniels mate and this is Jessie."

"This is josh my soon to be beta. And this is Otto my beta" I said as I pointed at each of them.

We got down to business. Next thing I know there walking toward the pack house.

"Wait we never go your name!"

"Alex. Alexandra Black." She said as she turned toward us.

"It's good to see you again "
