I finally got to the store (because Mom told me she needs some help) and I can now breathe normally. I went to Mom's office and placed my bag there before going out again to help her.
I was just roaming around the store, doing chores for Mom when I passed by Changkyun, my cousin and our school council's president. "Jaeshin," He called me and I stopped beside him.
"What?"
"What was that about Jaehyun?"
Ugh, that sexy name again. I looked up. "Nothing.. okay? They were just teasing me. Not like I have a crush on him." I immediately said and went to Mom's office to deliver some mails.
I opened the door and went inside then slammed it back. I sighed. "I'm such a coward." I told myself and placed the mails down the table.
I took my bag from the couch and went outside the office. "Mom, I'm gonna go home. I'm still gonna make an assignment." Even though there really isn't.
Mom nodded. "Okay, take care." I kissed her cheek and left the store. My mind was on Jaehyun again. Damn Changkyun for mentioning his name.
I sighed. "Ow!" I stopped walking when I hit on a lamp post. I rubbed my forehead and continued walking, avoiding the post. I saw our house in the distance and I went inside.
I greeted Dad as usual and went to my room. I placed my bag on my chair and took my tablet, charging it. I slumped on my bed and stared at space, my mind empty.
I brought my knees to my chest and my right thumb on my chin, pressing it. I sighed and decided to wash up, change and fall asleep.

The next day, I was just walking to my room when I hit someone. "Watch out!" Shouted a cute, familiar voice. I stopped walking and looked down to see Nox. He picked up his basketball and grinned at me. "Hello, noonah!"

I smiled. "Hello, Nox." He looked down on his ball, his black hair covering his eyes. "You're early, noonah." He said, looking at me again. "Yeah, I'm always like that. What are you doing outside?" I asked.
He tossed the ball and tried to hit it with his knee but it just landed on the ground. "I was playing by myself," He pouted. "Jaehyun hyung hasn't arrived yet." He said.
I just realized this kid talks so well. It must've been what Jaehyun thought him.
I was gonna ask him how their discussions about nouns went but maybe I will look like I'm a stalker. I crouched down to the same height as him. "Is Jaehyun your friend?"
He smiled brightly. "Ne! He thought me how to speak and count, even though I didn't officially attend school yet." The way he speaks is so good.
I was gonna say something but a voice made me freeze. "Nox! What are you doing out here?" Nox's eyes lit up and he immediately ran towards Jaehyun, who was behind me. "Jaehyun hyung!"
"Hi, Nox." I slowly stood up and turned around. Jaehyun was now carrying Nox. I pursed my lips and readied to walk away when Jaehyun called me. "Jaeshin,"
"What is it?" I answered without looking at him. "Hey, Jaeshin noonah, it's bad to talk to people with their back facing them." Nox said. I sighed and turned around, facing the two males.
"Now, what is it?"
"About yesterday-" He started but I shushed him. "Noonah! It's bad to cut people's sentences off." Nox said, making me look at him. Jaehyun gave me a 'he's right' look.
I rolled my eyes. "C-Continue." I said. Jaehyun cleared his throat. "As I was saying, about yesterday.. did it mean anything?" I raised a brow, my face feeling hot.

"What do you mean if it meant anything?" I asked back. "What's with those cheers and squeals from your classmates?" He asked with a smirk. "Oh." I pursed my lips and sighed. "I uh.."
Nox folded his arms. "Don't lie, noonah." I suddenly wanted to punch this kid but he looked too cute. "They were cheering for me, yeah. Yejin threatened them and they cheered, yes, that's it." I smiled.
Jaehyun and Nox looked unsure. "Jaehyun hyung, I want to talk to Yejin noonah if it's true." Nox said. Right on time, Yejin stepped inside the campus. Jaehyun brought Nox down and he ran towards Yejin.
"Yejin noonah!" Yejin was shocked to see the little guy running towards her. "Yejin noonah! Is it true that you threatened your classmates so they can cheer for Jaeshin noonah?"
Yejin looked at me and I clasped my hands together. Yejin nodded. "I did. Why?" Nox folded his arms. "Threatening is bad, Yejin noonah!"
"Oh, really?"
"Yes! I will talk to you right now." He pulled Yejin towards the building. Jaehyun chuckled at Nox dragging Yejin in. I just smiled at the little kid. I felt eyes on me and when I looked at Jaehyun, he was looking at me.
"I'll get going." He said and left. And you know what?
He smiled again.
