I immediately finished my assignment and after that, I fixed my things and hurriedly shoved them inside my bag. "Jaeshin, slow down." Bora said, following my speed.
I zipped my bag shut and wore it. "I-I have to go. I still have to help Mom with some chores. See you tomorrow." I smiled at Bora and left the library.
Just when I left the library, I heard Nox say, "Jaehyun hyung, wasn't she weird?" I paused near the door and Jaehyun chuckled again, sending butterflies in my stomach. "Maybe she's just in a hurry, Nox."
I sighed, which came out trembling, and I continued my way down the building. The wind was cold outside but my face felt so hot. I didn't bother to go to our store and just went straight to our house.
I greeted Dad who was in his usual spot and hurried to my room. I threw my bag on my chair and slumped on my bed. I wiped my palms on my face and sighed, trying to calm my beating heart.
"Does having a crush on that guy a big deal?" I asked myself. I hit my head with the heel of my palm. "Stop.. stop thinking of him for one moment, Jaeshin." I told myself and repeated it again and again.
I failed not thinking about him. I sighed. "Well, looks like you're not gonna sleep for tonight." I said, meaning by Jaehyun. He'll be running a marathon in my head all night.

Yesterday, Kino oppa told us to bring a copy of the periodic table, and I did bring one. I went to school and went straight to the room. I was the only one there and right after I stepped in, Yuta followed behind.
Later on, our classmates started pouring in. I was busy studying the periodic table in my hands when Yuta and Jay started talking near me. "Who would our Math teacher be?" Yuta asked.

"I heard it was Jaehyun hyung, from Class IV-A." My ears immediately went hot. Ugh, I hate the fact that I react when I hear Jaehyun's name. "Oh? But why him?" Yuta asked. "He's good at Mathematics, that's what I heard."
Without knowing it, I just nodded. "Jaeshin, are you okay?" I looked at Yejin who was looking worriedly at me. I nodded again. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" She pursed her lips and leaned closer to whisper. "You're acting weird ever since you have a crush on Jaehyun oppa."
Maeyoung, who was in front of Yejin, turned her head at us, a smirk on her lips. "Ooh. I heard you have a crush on Jaehyun oppa?" I rolled my eyes, feeling my cheeks hot. She clicked her tongue. "Don't be too flattered, Jaeshin. Your kidney."
The three of us laughed and Kino oppa went inside to discuss.

Lunch came and me having a crush on Jaehyun oppa was already out on the room. Maeyoung has connections with the noisy boys of our room and it accidentally slipped her tongue.
They started to tease me but Yejin glared at them and told them to back off. Yejin is the most feared in the room and no one dares try to mess with her, not even the boys.
We gathered on our table and started unpacking our lunch boxes. Maeyoung suddenly cleared her throat and gave me that look. Next is Yejin then Younghee, Kira, Bora and the rest of my girl classmates. "Ehem, ehem. Behind you." Bora said, almost in a whisper.
I sent them glares and slowly turned my head. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Jaehyun was behind me. He was buying his lunch and unfortunately or fortunately, the counter was behind me.

Jaehyun also turned his head behind me, making his gaze drop to mine. He flashed a small smile and I immediately turned my head in front of me. The girls tried not to squeal but failed eventually.
"Jaeshin, what just happened?" Younghee asked teasingly.
"Confess already." Bora whispered. I clicked my tongue at her and she just gave a good laugh. I didn't mind their comments and just ate my lunch.
Why does he keep on smiling at me like that? If only he knew.

After dismissal, I went to the library again if he's still there tutoring Nox. When I got there, he was already teaching the little guy one to one hundred. "Ninety-nine, one hundred! I made it, Jaehyun hyung!"
Jaehyun smiled widely, revealing his dimples. What the heck, I didn't know he has dimples. Jaehyun clapped with Nox. "Woah~. Nox already knows how to count." He said and ruffled Nox's hair.
I looked away from them and went inside the library. I sat on the same table Bora and I occupied yesterday. I used my notebook to cover my face. I glanced at them minute by minute.
"Hey," I jumped on my seat and turned my head to Bora. I gave her a glare while she has a teasing smirk on her lips. She pulled a chair and sat beside me. "Are you now stalking Jaehyun oppa?" I covered her mouth.
"Lower your voice," I glanced at Jaehyun and Nox and thankfully, they're busy in their own world. "I'm not stalking him." She took my Winnie the Pooh notebook. "Then why was this upside down?" She asked, still smirking.
"Can you shut up for one minute, Bora?"
"Okay, but just one minute." I groaned and I closed my notebook. It made a noise, making Nox and Jaehyun turn their heads on our direction. Nox immediately went back to writing something down his notebook while Jaehyun..
For the nth time, he smiled again at me.

Breaking Horizons: Book 1: Snared Origins
Many want to learn things from a story, while others only want fast-paced wonders. We are human and we like to dream, we are alive and we want to feel. Don’t wander outside before knowing the inside. Even if this is slow, it gives you the reader, things to behold. This is a story but also knowledge. It isn’t fast or entertaining but makes you wonder. Everything starts from something unknown, we all want to know the untold. However, can you persevere if something starts being boring? Shouldn’t entertainment start from something unexciting? Open a door to what you might know or not. Learn to dream in my unhealthy abode. Start from the garbage since that’s the place where I belong. Welcome to Raccoon’s abode. Breaking Horizons: Breaching the Fourth Dimension. A slow story that will take you on a ride towards the unknown. PS: Will make things clear here. The actual main character is a human, the raccoon is a pet for the novel. So it isn't a raccoon Isekai or reincarnation as a raccoon. I still haven't added it to the story, as I am currently doing the intro. A long intro! So the start might feel off when you read it. The story will include many genres but starts with psychological stuff and low fantasy. The whole story is an enormous puzzle, but it starts with a tiresome beginning for many. There is a reason for that... If you want to know more about this story check my discord: https://discord.gg/rZs6mem You can ask what you want to know there. Or join a bigger and cooler server where many authors hang out: https://discord.gg/2hbvq8B (Its dungeon engineer and many cool stories' server) This is my own story, so its for me only. I will not have a schedule. I left it on hiatus for a while, can't write two stories, too busy.

Et Non Lucem
A lonely fortress, a (slightly) deranged assassin, secrets, intrigue, magic and war. What could possible go wrong? If you've ever wondered what would happen if somebody attempted to blend a realistic medieval world with fantasy, then this is for you. If you've ever wondered what happens when you stick some (extremely) flawed humans into positions of power and try making them save the world, then this story is for you. Or if you're simply bored and can't seem to decide on a new story to read, then this story is for you! This is my first ever attempt at writing a story after years and years of reading, so any and all constrictive criticism is appreciated!

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
