Jung Jaehyun. A personality every girl would fall for. An attitude every boy would be jealous of. A face at which every teacher would scoff.
Jung Jaehyun was not a normal student. Nah! He was far from normal.
In fact, every way he used to go, he would hear the screams of ladies swooning over his oh! So handsome features.
And worst of all, he would be the centre of attention and he liked it. No, he LOVED it.
Why You ask? Cause Jaehyun was a Damn Playboy.
Jangmi's P.O.V
I was strolling down the streets of downtown. The aroma of freshly baked bagels was wafting through the streets and the busy office people were walking down the road with a cup of coffee in their hands.
I had to attend my college today, and had one of the most interesting class- Chemistry. I absolutely loved it.
I had always been an ace in studies and moreover, I take great interest in them.
I was just thinking about my lecture, that I suddenly bumped into someone. And that was by BFF Rose.
"Done day dreaming, lil sis?" She asked me, beaming. I laughed along with her, hitting her chest lightly.
"Didn't you text me yesterday, that you won't be accompanying me today? I thought you and Taeyong had some things to catch up." I questioned, curious why she had come.
"You know, I and Tae had already talked over the phone earlier, and he told me that he was not cheating on me. Instead some random girl came to him and started flirting with him." She replied back smiling.
"Okay then, let's go!" I said happily and interlinked her arms with mine and pulled her to the subway station.

They both reached the campus and went in their respective classes. They both had different majors. Jangmi was a Chemistry major while Rose was a psychology major.

Jangmi greeted the teachers on her way to the class, and the teachers smiled back. What a good girl.
She settled at one of the first and the closest seats to the professor's desk and spread her supplies over the table. She had done her homework, and memorized the previous lesson.
But then, she saw a couple of girls screaming and shouting some Oh! My Gods. Great, just great, Jangmi whispered.
Soon after, a swarm of girls came at the class door and all of them were shooting eye hearts at this particular person.
The boy entered the class and went to the farthest desk from the professor's table and took his bag off his shoulders. He gave one look to the girl sitting at the front and took out his pen and scribbled something in his notebook.
Soon, the students trickled in and the class began. Jaehyun was sitting with his friends Mark and Taeyong. None of them were paying attention to the lecture.

The lecture was pretty good. I could hear some weird noises from the back but I ignored it. Pfft, these boys. Always disturbing.
I slung by bag around my back and left the class. I joined Rose afterwards, for lunch.
I had decided to meet up at a cafe, cause I hated those prying eyes of other girls on us. Specially because of Taeyong and his friends.
Taeyong always came with his two friends, and as usual, I and Rose had to decide the farthest eating place from the campus, to avoid the fangirls.
Today, was no exception. I had decided to eat salads and a cup of coffee, since I had a wholesome breakfast.
I sat on one of the stools and decided to order. Rose was on a diet, so she only had a fruit salad to choose. Poor girl, she gained 2kgs of weight by going on those dates with Taeyong.

We ordered and waited for the boys. Taeyong arrived first, followed by Mark and then Jaehyun. I never really liked Jaehyun, but since he was Taeyong's friend I had to keep up.
I signalled Rose that they had arrived and she immediately stood up to take Taeyong in her arms. He hugged her too while tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Oh! so lovey-dovey couple.
After they settled down, I had a small chat with Mark. He was okay to speak to, not like Jaehyun.
"How did the lesson go today, Jangmi?" He asked while eating his burger.
"Great! I learnt a lot of things from today's lesson you know." I replied back thinking of the amazing presentation.
"Is that even a question to ask, Mark? She is practically the topper, and she will always find the amusing and boring lecture great." Piped in Jaehyun, looking annoyed.
I huffed back in response and continued eating. This person really gets on my nerves.
Jaehyun's P.O.V
While eating I saw Tae and Rose practically making out, and I got frustrated. I mean, can you do some less PDA in public?
At the corner of my eye, I saw Mark, asking a very stupid question to Jangmi. I mean, why ask about studies when we just came for a break?
I gave a very stingy response to Jangmi and Mark, and I am sure, that nerd would have been hurt.
I saw her rolling her eyes in anger, and to my surprise, she didn't gave me an answer. I focused my eyes on eating, ignoring the kisses and laughs of the couple sitting in front of me.

After the lunch break, all of them went back to their respective classes. Rose went back to the humanities department bidding Taeyong a kiss for farewell.
Jangmi took her books and went in her class. She concentrated on the whole lesson, and the teacher's praised her for doing a meticulous job in her homework.
Her class finished at 4 and she left the class. She had to go home today alone, since Rose had a date with Taeyong in an amusement park.
As she was passing from the teacher's room, she heard her name called by the peon. "The teacher wants to talk to you." The peon spoke and then left.
Jangmi entered the teacher's room and saw another figure sitting on one of the chairs. The teacher greeted her and mentioned her to come in.
When Jangmi sat, she saw Jaehyun sitting on the chair beside her, looking disinterested.
The teacher then spoke, "Jangmi, you see, this person is practically failing in the class and since I don't want to make my record bad, I want you to tutor him." She looked at me with puppy eyes.
"WHAT?" Jaehyun and Jangmi shouted together. No way any of them were going to accept this.
"If you don't Jangmi, than I might have to make him to be your seatmate as well as your practical partner for the whole year. I don't want him to flunk." The teacher looked at them amusingly.
Jangmi's P.O.V
Great, just great.
Now I have to tutor this bad boy and keep my life at the death line. This ain't a joke, Jangmi.
I closed my eyes and nodded. While walking through the corridors I asked him, "what time should I tutor you?"
"Between five and seven tomorrow." He said angrily and stomped his way towards his car.
I took the subway and went back home. I can't believe what just happened.
I am going to tutor a playboy, a bad boy, a player, a spoilt human and not to mention, the Jung Jaehyun.
Crap, just Crap.

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero (Update 09/19/21)
(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts. There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I don’t remember any of it and I need to find my way home.Author’s notes. Original work. First draft and update of chapters 1-16. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. Almost fifty chapters are completed as I pen this introduction. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6
