《Into The Unkown》Chapter 26

The next day Olivia went with Charlie to Forks High School. Luckily it was during first period meaning all the other students were in class and none of them could stare at Olivia. Last night Olivia talked to Renee who was very happy that Olivia was safe and unharmed.
"Well, Miss Swan has a good track record. A high IQ which counts in her favour meaning she can learn quickly," Mr Ferguson says as he looks through Olivia's file. Olivia and Charlie sat opposite the Principal in his office. "I will allow her to come back. Some of the teachers will give her work to catch up on, but I want her to graduate this year meaning I will tell them to give her projects, that way she can get all her marks before she graduates," Mr Ferguson says and Charlie and Olivia nods.
"She can start tomorrow, that way she can gather all her things," Mr Ferguson says. "Thank you," Charlie says and Mr Ferguson smiles at them.
"Then we will see you tomorrow, Miss Swan," Mr Ferguson says to Olivia.
"It's Swan-Sorrentino," Olivia says and Mr Ferguson looks towards Charlie who nods, telling Mr Ferguson that it was the truth.
"We'll change that on the records," Mr Ferguson says and Charlie and Olivia nod. They left just as the bell rang for the Second Period. Olivia followed Charlie out of the office. As soon as she stepped out she into the hallway she could feel the stare and emotions of all the students.
She could hear their thoughts as Charlie placed his hands on her back and led her out of the school. Most of the students wondered when she got back and where she was. Others just didn't care where she was, they just wondered if she would be back at school.
Olivia and Charlie arrived home and Olivia went straight to her room. She still needed to contact Alexander, but her phone was still in pieces and she hasn't received a new one as of yet.

"Livy," Charlie says knocking on her door before he opened the door. "Yes?" Olivia asks and Charlie walked towards her where she sat at the window.
He took out a box from behind his back and handed it to her. "It's not much, but seeing as your birthday is in a few days, I just thought to give it to you earlier," Charlie says, Olivia looks at him confused as she took the box. She opened it and saw a phone.
"Thank you," Olivia smiled and stood up to hug Charlie. "Anything for you darling. Now I know you wanted to call Alexander" Charlie says and Olivia smiled. "Thank you, Dad," Olivia smiled and Charlie nods. He kissed her on the head and walked out of her room.
Olivia took her old sim card from her broken phone and started set up her new phone. As soon as she was done, she got hundreds of messages. Most of them were from the man Demetri, who Olivia doesn't know.
Olivia ignored the messages and went straight to her contacts and clicked on Alexander's name that was at the top of the list.
"Olivia?" Alexander answers and Olivia smiled at the sound of his voice. "Hi," Olivia greeted and Alexander let out a sigh of relief.
"Are you all right?" Alexander asks. "I've been better, the sad news is that I will be seventeen for the rest of my life," Olivia says breaking the news to Alexander.
"What do you mean?" Alexander asks confused at first, Olivia waited for the words to sink in. "No!" Alexander exclaimed and Olivia moved the phone away from her ear.
"When?" Alexander asked Olivia. "I was waiting for Charlie at the airport after my trip to Italy when a red-haired woman named Victoria attacked me. The Cullens suspect she turned me to get back at Bella or kill Bella when I see her, but her plans didn't work," Olivia says and Alexander hums.

"Did you tell Demetri?" Alexander asks and Olivia frowned. "All right, who is Demetri? I keep seeing his name, he left me a letter in my bag and I have over a hundred messages from him," Olivia says and she could hear Alexander's intake of breath.
"Olivia, did you lose some of your memories?" Alexander suddenly asks. "Yes, most of them have come back over the last few weeks," Olivia says casually. "Livy, Demetri is someone you are close to. You went to visit him in Italy, that's why you went," Alexander says and Olivia was shocked.
"Who else knew?" Olivia asks Alexander as she sat on her bed. "The Cullens knew why you went to Italy. You were there when Alice and Edward, as well as Bella, was there. You sent me a message about them being there and how Bella wanted to force you to go home" Alexander says.
Olivia tried to recall that memory but there was nothing. Not even faces. "I don't remember anything," Olivia says as she leaned against her headboard. "Maybe it's just one of those memories that will come back to you once the time is right," Alexander says.
"Maybe, I'll call you in the week again sometime. I still need to act as if I eat dinner with Charlie," Olivia says and Alexander let out a laugh as soon as she said that. The food that Olivia ate always tasted like dirt and Olivia tries to keep a straight face but when Charlie looks away she spits the food out.
"Don't laugh. The food tastes weird and disturbing," Olivia says which only makes Alexander laughs harder.
"Olivia!" Charlie yelled up the stairs. "Coming!" Olivia yelled back. "Bye, Alex," Olivia says and hangs up on Alexander, who was still laughing. Olivia walks down the stairs and she instantly smelled a wet dog. She pulled a face as she walked into the kitchen. At the table sat Charlie and Billy. Jake stood behind Billy.
The smell was coming from Jake. "Olivia, you're save," Billy says but he didn't look surprised. Olivia suspects that he knew what she was. "Yes. I'm glad to be home," Olivia smiled at Billy who smiled at her. "Why don't Jake and I take a walk and we can catch up," Olivia suggested and Billy nods.
Jake follows Olivia out the back door and the two of them started to walk towards the tree line. "You smell," Olivia says and Jake let out a laugh. "Well you don't smell that great either," Jake says and Olivia smiles. "I wish this didn't happen to you," Jake says as the two of them walks into the forest.
"Don't worry, you're not the only one. I wanted to live a normal human life but it seems that Bella can't keep herself out of trouble and this time she dragged me in as well," Olivia says and Jake nods. Carlisle luckily explained to them why Olivia was turned.
"Forever seventeen. What a nightmare," Jake says and Olivia pushed him slightly making him stumble. "I don't want to be seventeen for the rest of my immortal life. I wanted a family, someday," Olivia says and Jake gave her a sad look. "You can always adopt children," Jake says and Olivia nods. "Yeah, because someone is going to let a seventeen-year-old adopt a child," Olivia says.
Olivia and Jake kept walking and talking to catch up on everything and Jake told her about the treaty between the wolves and the Cullens. He told her how Billy is one of the elders of the tribe and he knows what she is.
