《Into The Unkown》Chapter 20

Days passed and Olivia got to know most of the higher up guards. The one Aro, Marcus and Caius trust to be around her. Olivia spend the last few days with Sulpicia and Athenodora when there were important guests, vampire guests meeting with the brothers. And then during the night or during the day if Demetri is not working, Olivia would spend it with him.
Today was the Saint Marcus day festival. Olivia was curious this morning when she looked out the window and saw the people dressed in red cloaks. Sulpicia and Athenodora told Olivia that the people celebrate St. Marcus Day festival every year, celebrating that vampires have been driven out of the city.
"Miss Olivia, Master Aro wants to see you in the throne room," Santiago says opening the door to the wives' tower. Olivia smiled and stood up, straightening out her dress that Heidi gave her to wear.
Ever since Olivia got to know Heidi, she could feel a bond forming. Heidi then took it upon herself one night to redo Olivia's whole wardrobe. Not that Olivia was complaining Heidi had great taste when it comes to fashion.
Olivia smiled at Sulpicia and Athenodora. "I'll come back later," Olivia says smiling at the two of them who smiled back. "My dear, you say that all the time but then you get distracted by Demetri," Athenodora says and Olivia blushed, causing the two females to laugh at her.
Olivia followed after Santiago who was leading her to the throne room. The heels she wore made a noise as she walked after him. Santiago pushed the doors to the throne room open and Olivia saw Aro, Marcus and Caius waiting for her. There were three guards missing. Demetri, Felix and Jane.
"I was told you needed me," Olivia says as she came to a stop in front of the three brothers. "Yes, we have a visitor that you might want to meet. Jane went to get him," Aro says smiling at Olivia. He held his hand towards her and Olivia placed her hands into his. He read her thoughts like he sometimes does. It didn't bother Olivia that he does that, she has no secrets to hide from him.
"Ah, I see you spoke to your father this morning," Aro says smiling at Olivia. "I did, he called to tell me that someone I knew died and that he doesn't know where Bella went," Olivia says and Aro hummed. "Come join us," Aro says pointing towards where the thrones were. The three brothers had grown to love and adore Olivia, and sometimes they would let her sit with them. Olivia smiled and walked towards the steps and sat down on them. Right in front of the thrones. More in front of Aro's throne. Aro sat down on his throne and they waited.

The doors opened and Jane entered. "Sister, we sent you out to get one, you came back with two and a half," Alec says approaching his twin sister. "Such a clever girl."
"Ah, Bella is alive after all," Aro says standing up, stepping around Olivia and walking towards Edward, Bella and Alice. None of who has seen or took notice of Olivia just yet. Demetri, who instantly knew she was in the room stood by the door, knowing that if he went to her he would draw attention to them.
Aro took Edward's hand from Bella's to read his thoughts. "La Tua Cantante. Her blood appeals to you. It makes me thirsty. How do you do it?" Aro asks Edward. "Not without difficulty," Edward says and Aro smiled and stepped back. "You can't seem to read her thoughts. Let's see if I can. May I?" Aro says holding his hand out towards Bella who took a hesitant step forward.
Aro looked down and then back up after a few seconds. "Interesting. I see nothing," Aro says stepping back. He turned around and looked towards Olivia and his brothers. "I wonder. Let us see if she is immune to all our powers," Aro says turning to face the three behind him. He then glanced towards Jane. Olivia instantly knew what he was thinking.
"Shall we Jane?' Aro asks and Jane looks at him. "No," Edward rushed forward as soon as Jane looks towards them. "Pain," Jane says and suddenly Edward started to grunt in pain. Jane and Alec's gifts fascinated Olivia. Alec could take away someone's senses while Jane gives them pain.
"Stop!" Bella says when Edward falls to his knees because of the pain. "Just stop. Stop hurting him," Bella says looking at Aro. "Jane," Aro says turning to look at Jane. "Master?" Jane asks looking away from Edward toward's Aro. "Go ahead, my dear," Aro says and Jane looks towards Bella.
"This might hurt, just a little," Jane says looking at Bella. Aro let out a laugh when nothing happened. "Remarkable," Aro says as he looked at Bella. "Did you know?' Aro asks turning towards Olivia. "No," Olivia answers and Bella looked at her shocked, finally noticing that Olivia was there. "Livy," Bella whispered looking at Olivia.
"She confounds us all. So what do we do with you now?" Aro asks still looking at Bella. "You already know what you're going to do Aro," Marcus says looking at Aro, whose back was towards them. "She knows too much. She's a liability," Caius says to Aro. "Mmm," Aro says. "That's true."

"Felix," Aro says to the buff vampire that stood next to Demetri. Suddenly everything started to happen fast. Edward attacked Felix before Felix even moved towards Bella. Olivia stood up, wanting to get out of harm's way. She went to stand behind Caius' throne. The blond vampire is fond of Olivia, maybe because Olivia spends time with the wives, and keeps them company.
Olivia watched from her spot as Felix and Edward fought. Felix at one point got the upper hand, but Edward was quick to get back on his feet. Demetri was holding onto Alice. They fought at Vampire speed so Olivia could hardly see anything. Felix had hold of Edward and threw him into the stairs where Olivia previously sat.
Felix was about to break Edward's neck when Bella spoke up. "No. Please no," Bella says rushing forward. "Kill me," Bella says and Aro held up his hand to stop Felix from killing Edward.
"How extraordinary," Aro says approaching Bella. "You would give up your life for someone like us," Aro says and Bella just looks at him. "A vampire. A soulless monster," Aro says glancing towards Edward and then back towards Bella. "You don't know a thing about a soul," Bella says looking Aro in the eye. Aro then says something in Italian while glancing between Edward and Bella.
"This is sadness," Aro says looking at Edward. "If only it were your intention to give her immortality," Aro says, he walks closer to Bella. "Bella will be one of us," Alice suddenly spoke up, causing Aro to stop in his track and look towards Alice. "I've seen it. I'll change her myself," Alice says.
Aro held out his hand towards Alice, who got out of Demetri's grip and walk towards Aro. Olivia watched from her spot as Aro searched Alice's mind. "Mesmerizing," Aro says. "To see what you have seen before it has happened," Aro says and looked towards Bella. "Your gifts will make for an intriguing immortal," Aro says as he touched Bella's face.
"Go now. Make your preparations," Aro says stepping away from Bella and looking at Edward. "Let us be done with it. The menu will arrive at any moment," Marcus says standing up. "Thank you, for your visit," Marcus says to them. "In return for the favor, we would advise that you follow through with your promise soon. We do not offer second chances.
Olivia looked towards Bella whose eyes were on her. "Olivia, come we're leaving," Bella says which made Demetri snap his head towards Bella. Olivia still had a week left in Volterra, and Demetri doesn't want her to go. "No," Olivia answers standing up straight to look at Bella. "Charlie is worried about you. We're going home and you're not staying here with these monsters," Bella says and Olivia stepped towards Bella.
"The person that I love is in this room. Charlie knows where I am. He knows that I am safe. I will stay here until my time is up," Olivia says and Bella shook her head. "I won't allow it. Not here, you'll find someone else to love, not someone here that could kill you" Bella says and Olivia could feel her anger rising.
"I finally met the one person made for me and you decided that I can't be with him?" Olivia looked at Bella with Anger and shock. Bella was clinging to Edward as they stood in the room. All eyes on them. "He's a monster," Bella says and Olivia scoffed. "Yeah and so is Edward, but I know that he," Olivia pointed towards the man they were talking about. "he will never hurt me. Edward left you in the middle of the forest and you could have died. Demetri will never hurt me like that" Olivia says to Bella, and Demetri walked towards Olivia and took a hold of her hand. He kissed her on the side of her head.
"Let's get them to the door. I don't want you here when we feed," Demetri says and Olivia nods. Demetri and Olivia then started to walk out. "Goodbye, my young friends," Aro says. Demetri and Olivia walked hand in hand down the hall with Bella, Edward and Alice following them. Heidi walked passed them with a group of tourist.
"Nice fishing," Demetri says to Heidi. 'Yes, they do look fabulous. Not as fabulous as dear Liv," Heidi says smiling at the two. "Safe some for Demetri will you. He's starving," Olivia says to Heidi who smiled at her and nods. "You know me, my love," Demetri says at Olivia smiling.
Olivia stood next to Demetri as they watched Bella, Edward and Alice leave. "I'll go to our room, while you go eat something or someone," Olivia says and Demetri looks down at her. "Will do, My Love," Demetri says. Olivia leaned up and kissed him. Demetri kissed her back.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
