《Into The Unkown》Chapter 14

Olivia sat next to her friends the next day. Bella came home late last night with a bandage around her arm and when Olivia questioned her about it Bella said that she fell. And today none of the Cullens were at school and Olivia realized that Bella was hiding something.
Although Olivia knew that the Cullens are vampires, she hasn't said anything to Bella, hoping that Bella would tell her, but it seems that is not going to happen. Olivia knows that something happened last night at the Cullens' house with Bella. "So, Livy who called yesterday during lunch?" Mike asks leaning over the table to look at Olivia. Olivia blushed and looked down at her plate of food.
"Olivia Roslyn Swan, what are you hiding?!" Jessica demanded and Olivia laughed. "Um, yesterday I thought it was Alex who called me, but it seems that Demetri took his phone. And yes Demetri is the guy in the painting," Olivia says and Angela and Jessica squealed.
"Come on, spill the details," Angela says and Olivia looked at them. "Well, he is a few years older than me, he lives in Italy, and he has an amazing accent," Olivia says while blushing. Jessica and Angela smiled at her.
"All right, no more boy talk. Your three girls already have three handsome boys sitting here at this table," Mike says throwing his arms around Jessica's shoulder while Eric does the same with Angela. "If you even think about it Tyler, I will murder you," Olivia says pointing her fork at the boy sitting on her other side. Tyler lifted his hand into the air in a defensive mode and smiled.
Everyone started to laugh at them. "So, how was Bella's party?" Jessica suddenly asks Olivia. "I'm not sure. She doesn't want to talk about it after I caught her coming in last night with a bandage around her arm," Olivia says and Angela and Jessica frowned.

"What happened?" Angela asks and Olivia looked towards her. "She says that she fell but I don't think that's what happened," Olivia says and Jessica nods in agreement. "Maybe she will tell you," Angela suggested and Olivia shook her head.
"We don't talk much after she found out I was adopted, and the fact that I visited Alex in new york," Olivia says and the others nod. "So about the shopping trip next week, when do you want to do it?" Jessica asks, changing the topic. "I talked to Charlie and seeing as my birthday is on a Friday he suggested that we go straight to Seattle after school. We can take my Jeep," Olivia says and Angela and Jessica nod.
"That sounds like a great plan. We can carpool that morning that way we don't have to worry about first dropping off the other cars," Angela says and Olivia nods in agreement.
+Later that day+
Olivia stopped her Jeep in front of the house and saw Bella's truck in the driveway. She entered the house. "Bella!" Olivia called as she walked deeper into the house. No one answered. Olivia walked up the stairs to Bella's room and opened the door. Bella wasn't there, neither was her school bag. Olivia frowned and walked down the stairs. She took out her phone and dialled Charlie's number.
"Olivia, what can I do for you?" Charlie asks as soon as he answered the phone. "I just wanted to know if Bella called you?" Olivia asks. "No, not today why?" Charlie asks.
"Her truck is at home, but she's not here and I don't know if she went to the Cullens," Olivia says as she walked towards the porch. She stood on it and looked around. "Probably, try her phone," Charlie says and Olivia nods. "I will, see you later," Olivia says and Charlie hummed into the phone. Olivia hanged up and dialled Bella's number.

Olivia heard Bella's ringtone coming from her truck. Walking closer she saw Bella's bag inside the truck. Now Olivia was definitely worried. Olivia looked towards the forest and saw movement in them. Suddenly Edward stood there, staring at Olivia. When Olivia blinked he was gone.
Olivia rushed into the forest to look for Bella. "Bella!" Olivia screamed as she ran around the forest looking for Bella. It started to get dark and Olivia suddenly tripped over something, causing her to hurt her ankle. "Dammit," Olivia says and sit flat on the ground as she checked her ankle in the little light she has.
Olivia heard a branch snap to her right and looked towards it. Two yellow eyes stared at her. It was a wolf, but it was much bigger than your normal wolf. Olivia recognized it as a werewolf. "Well, are you going to just stand there or are you going to help?" Olivia asks raising her eyebrow at the wolf. The wolf back away and then a man stepped forward dressed in a pair of jean shorts with running shoes on.
"How did you know?" The man asks as he helped Olivia up. "A few months ago I was told about supernatural creatures and Werewolves were one of them. And you are bigger than your normal wolf so that was another clue," Oliva says and the man nods.
"Jared Cameron," He says holding out his hand for Olivia to shake. "Olivia Swan," Olivia says shaking his hand. She tried to walk but winched as she stepped on her foot. "Come on, I'll help," Jared said. "What about Bella?" Olivia asks him. Suddenly a howl rang through the forest. "Sam has her," Jared says and picked Olivia up bridal style and carried her towards her house.
Approaching the house, Olivia saw her dad taking Bella from who Olivia suspect is Sam. It was Sam Uley. Charlie rushed Bella inside before he came back for Olivia. "I'm fine dad, it's just my ankle," Olivia says and Charlie nods. "It is just a sprain, Mr Swan," Jared said and Charlie nods.
"Thank you, Jared," Charlie says and Jared nods. He then walks back to Sam. Charlie carried Olivia inside and set her on the couch. The medics were checking on Bella, who was in her room, then they will look at Olivia's ankle.
"What happened?" Charlie asks sitting opposite Olivia, who was getting her ankle checked. "I called Bella's number but her bag was in her truck, and then I thought that I saw Edward in the trees, but I didn't. I went into the forest to look for Bella and when it started to get dark I tripped over a root or something," Olivia says and Charlie nods.
"Please just call me next time," Charlie says and Olivia nods. "I should have called and I am sorry about that," Olivia says and Charlie smiled at her. "You should probably call Alexander," Charlie says and Olivia looked at him shocked.
"Please tell me that you didn't tell him I was lost," Olivia pleaded Charlie. "Sorry," Charlie says and Olivia groaned. She's going to be in so much trouble.
The medic left after telling Charlie that the two girls will be fine, but Olivia shouldn't put much pressure on her ankle. They gave her some medication that she would have to drink daily. Olivia took out her phone and dialled Alexander's number.
"Olivia Roslyn Sorrentino Swan. You are in big trouble," Alexander says as soon as Olivia answers the phone. "Thank you very much, dad!" Olivia says pulling the phone away from her ear to shout at Charlie who just laughed at her. And for a whole two hours, Olivia listened as Alexander ranted on her.

8 216I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)
